This review is long overdue, but I absolutely have to share how incredible Leo and his team at Central Coast Entertainment were for our wedding at Carmel Fields by Wedgewood Weddings. From the very first Zoom call, Leo went above and beyond to understand the vibe we wanted and made the entire planning process so seamless and stress-free. He genuinely cared about our vision, offered thoughtful suggestions, and made us feel confident that our day would be perfect. Lupe, our DJ, was absolutely phenomenal. He had everyone dancing all night, reading the room perfectly, and keeping the energy nonstop. Every song was perfectly timed, and our guests couldn't stop talking about how amazing he was. The dance floor was packed from the first song to the last, and it was honestly one of the highlights of the night. We also added the 360 photo booth (highly recommend!), the multimedia booth, and the smoke/cloud effect for our first dance--and these were some of the best decisions we made. The booths were a huge hit with our guests, and the smoke effect during our first dance was just magical--it made the moment feel cinematic and unforgettable. Elia, Leo's wife and our photobooth attendant, was phenomenal as well. She was warm, sweet, and made everyone feel comfortable while helping guests get the best shots. I even ran into her at my cousin's wedding six months later, and she was just as kind and engaging as she had been at our wedding, which really shows the character and dedication of the team. On top of everything, Leo surprised us with beautifully edited highlight videos of our wedding. This was completely unexpected and such a thoughtful gift--it captured all the energy, emotion, and joy of the day in a way we will treasure forever. Our guests are still talking about how professional, talented, and fun every member of Leo's team was. From setup to performance, everything was seamless, polished, and executed with so much care. Leo, Lupe, Elia, and the whole team made our wedding truly unforgettable. Months before the big day, we had a virtual call with their team to go over our vision. A week before the wedding, we spoke directly with Lupe, which was great because he really got to know both of us before the big day. We booked CCE through Wedgewood for their white dance floor and Photo Booth. The dance floor was GORGEOUS. Leo's wife (I wish I remembered her name) was our Photo Booth attendant and she was great! Our guests really enjoyed having a Photo Booth at our wedding. They had a special promo going on through Wedgewood when we booked them so the price was very good! Although we didn't use their DJ, we did get to see one of their DJ's in action at my cousins wedding a few months ago and he was SO GOOD. Central Coast entertainment (CCE) was excellent to work with. My husband and I planned our wedding with Wedgewood Carmelfields and CCE was part of the package. It worked out great since I had heard from many others while searching for individual vendors, that CCE was the best in the area. From start to finish they were very engaged and organized. I love that there are various DJs, but the owners Leo and Elia make it feel very special and tailored to our needs. They love what they do and it shows in every step of the way. By the end pf the process, you'll want them to join the party! The music selection is fantastic! We had a good mix of current, old school and Latin music. My biggest worry was that people would not dance...CCE kept the party going through the last song! We had to turn the lights on to end the party. We also had a photo booth and thankfully with CCE's booth operator (Angela), we were able to capture the majority of our guests. It was a fun add on. I greatly appreciate all the check ins, service options (they do the "cloud covered" dance floor!! as an add on) organization, detailed calls and follow through. The day of, was excellent! We had a beach ceremony and a reception a short distance away. sadly I can't remember the DJ or MC's names (met them right before the event kicked off. Sorry guys!! You were so good!), but they were a joy to work with. The energy, professionalism and ability to hammer down the details is so important. They even handled changes on the fly. Which is so appreciated since we added the Father & bride dance and the bouquet toss at the last second (right before the ceremony). We had a wonderful time planning and celebrating with CCE. You can't go wrong hiring them through other vendors or ideally directly. They offer many add ins to make your day special and since it is family owned, they really respect you as a customer and the importance of your event. We booked CCE's vintage photo booth for our wedding reception at the Monterey Plaza Hotel and were blown away by the professionalism of the team and the elegance of the setup. They provided us with a book of photos after the event, which our guests signed, and created a custom touch screen and strip for our printouts (their designer even added calla lily flowers onto the strip to match our wedding flowers!) From start to finish, securing them for our wedding took two days! Our original photo booth company canceled the week before our wedding, and CCE was able to provide a contract and insurance info within 24 hrs. It was a dream come true--and the best package deal out of the photo booth companies based in the Monterey area. We booked CCE Photobooth services for our wedding in August. They showed up on time and set up everything perfectly. The attendant was the sweetest and everyone had so much fun! Before the wedding we were contacted by CCE to create our custom photobooth photo strip with what design we wanted, as well as choosing a backdrop we wanted. Their pricing was extremely reasonable too. We decided to do a photobooth strip guest book instead of a regular one and the attendant was so amazing at printing extras and making sure guests put them in the guestbook and signed above it! We also received a link to all the digital copies of the pictures which was so great to have and save! All the pictures came out super clear and bright, and the props they had were perfect. We were the first wedding of the year for them at The Ranch at Silver Creek in San Jose; they partnered with WedgeWood Weddings and provided a memorable experience for our special day. We also had a "dancing in the clouds" moment where they had a fog machine release clouds on the dance floor--which amazed not only us but our guests! CCE delivered a different level experience then other DJ's. Leo (owner) invited us to his office to discuss our upcoming wedding. During the end of COVID, most businesses were hiding from the public - Leo wanted to meet us and let us meet him. That was the first sign that they do something different. Leo also requested a walk through at the venue with the venue staff and us. Again, most show up, plug in and go. Leo wanted to make sure everything was going to be perfect. We booked CCE for their DJ services as well as a number add ons... photo booth, special wedding effects etc. On the day of the event a small army of people arrived to set up. Everything went flawlessly and everyone had a great time. Because many of the guests in our group are not party/dance people I was concerned that the event would be a bit dull. Leo wouldn't let that happen. He had everyone (including a 90 year old and ME) dancing and having a good time. CCE made our son's wedding an incredible event. They deliver on everything they say - in a wonderful and fun way. P.S. Try their "sparklers" and "dancing on a cloud" for wedding pictures that should be in a magazine! Leo walked us through everything via our zoom meetings and then he came to our wedding to meet us. It is obvious how Leo is passionate about providing the best experience possible for every one of his clients. He even helped us update our schedule so our wedding flowed seamlessly from the ceremony, to cocktail hour, to reception. We were referred through our venue, Wedgewood Carmel, and thank goodness, because Central Coast Entertainment made the process simple and delivered exactly the music playlist we discussed, provided fun lighting on the dance floor and their Dancing On A Cloud service for our First Dance wowed every one of our guests and covered the fact that we skipped the dance lessons. Ivan was our MC for the night and he was very professional, did a great job and even wore a blue suit which matched out colors. Now, this will be our only wedding, however, we spend every New Years in Monterey/Carmel. Post pandemic we would love to throw a NYE party and when we do, CCE will be who we call to provide the music and special effects. CCE DJ'd my wedding at Wedgewood Carmel and they seriously are the best. My husband and I had to postpone our wedding a few times due to COVID. For our original date back in April 2020 Wedgewood was contracted with a diferent DJ company and thank goodness they switched to CCE because the other DJ company didn't even remember our names or event date when we had our first appointment. We had a few appointments with Leo before the actual wedding day and he guided us through the whole process of making sure we had all our songs planned out the way we wanted and he made everything super easy. Leo is incredibly personable and was easy to get along with right from the start, he's such a nice guy and you can tell he really loves his company. Unfortunately, Leo couldn't make it to our wedding, but we had DJ Luuupe and Ivan there and they were absolutely amazing! I have never danced more in my entire life. We asked them to do the ice breaker before our grand entrance at the reception; I didn't get to hear all of it but it sounded like our guests loved it, they were all laughing and it really helped set the mood for the rest of the day. We just had our wedding on Friday May 27th. Leo and his team were AMAZING! We held our wedding at Jardines de San Juan and all our guests thought CCE was apart of Jardines because of how well they worked together. STRESS FREE! I had to point out how easy Leo and his crew made the whole DJ experience easy. My wife and I used CCE Entertainment for our wedding venue. Weddings are super hard to plan, from the venue itself, flowers, food, and most importantly the DJ that sets the tone of the whole event. I reached out to 12 different companies, but Leo was straight forward from day 1. If I would of known about Leo, I would of saved a lot of time shopping for the best person. Words can't begin to describe how good his services were, but I'll do my best to give everyone a small glimpse. I messaged Leo amongst other vendors and he was the most prompt to responding. I told him what I needed and he gave me a quote with no run around additional questions. His online portal made it super easy to coordinate everything. From the beginning of the event until the last minute, nothing was missed or skipped. As the wedding day was approaching, my mindset was all over the place.
