My Husband and I hired Dj Miguel for our wedding in April 2019 at Hollister. My husband had contacted several djs in our area but none of them matched what we were looking for. After talking to our photographer he recommended Miguel because he had worked alongside him at previous events. We chose to hire Miguel because of his at attention to detail, highly personal approach, and spot-on feedback during our initial consultation were he provided us with a extremely helpful packet that included a questionnaire, Music Samples and request forms. His Sample Itinerary was on point that we chose to follow it. Throughout the wedding, he also not only did the DJ-ing but kept a close eye on our timeline, doing everything necessary to keep things on track and on time. This is normally something we would only expect a coordinator to do! In terms of DJ-ing, Miguel has such a great energy and it truly shows how much impact it is to have a great Dj/MC. Dj Miguel was the dj for our Winter Wedding in December in San Francisco. Shortly after we called him we met up with him to discuss plans for our wedding, he had a packet that was by far the best we've seen. He had it very organised and structured and straight to the point, after we filled out all the papers he turned it into our itinerary. When it came to our wedding ceremony music we had no idea what we wanted to play, Miguel had some great suggestions ready for us to choose from. My husband had a rather large must playlist and Miguel play every single one while having the whole dance floor jam-packed. Miguel was amazing an did an incredible job for our special day. Our venue had provided us a list of djs but our designer had a better suggestion and we are very happy we had chosen him. Miguel did an amazing job! The first time we met with Miguel he provided us with a detailed introduction about his services and made sure all of our questions were answered. He has a great personality and is very easy to talk to. We were very impressed with how well organized he is, he gave us forms to fill to make sure everything was clearly communicated. The day of, Miguel worked well with my wedding planner and designer and made sure all sound was ready to go a couple of hours before the reception. He did a great job announcing and getting the all guests excited for the grand entrance as well as announcing the other formalities and highlights during the reception. I'd give Miguel 10 stars if I could! We hired DJ Miguel for an event we held in San Jose. We worked with a band for the first couple hours of the event, during which time Miguel played jazzy background music during the band's breaks. He took my song & genre suggestions ahead of time and played the songs that we requested throughout the night. The best part, though, is his talent and skill at reading the crowd's reactions to the music he plays. He seemed to intuitively know what would work well with our guests (ages ranged from 25 to 90 years old--which is a tough range to please) and went with it, blending music and making for a rockin' dance floor. DJ Miguel got everyone, including our older guests, dancing all night long. I would HIGHLY, HIGHLY recommend Miguel to anyone planning an event or wedding. I highly recommend Dj Miguel! He was professional, Knowledgeable, Reliable and he really helped us out on our wedding day. We had only hired him for 5 hours but he came early that day and set up his equipment and came back before our guest arrived and played music for us during our cocktail hour and dinner because the restaurant's sound system was having problems. We did not know that, miguel was the one who talk to the restaurants manager while he was setting up. Later that evening the manger came and apologies to my husband and i because of it.
