Still a four stars from me. I came today. As ever there were the gorgeous views of the water, Venetian bridge etc, but still it has litter and dog poop dotted around. Why do people walk their dogs here, and let them SHIX and just walk way? This is so sad? Do they not take value in what they have on their own doorstep?! I have a dog myself AND I PICK UP HER OFFERINGS. Also there were a few homeless people dotted around, sleeping in the shade, which is such a sad and sorry sight.

We love Margaret !!! It's been 3 years today since I start visiting this park with my fur baby and we never get boring. It's pretty familiar, love to see the kids running around, dogs playing, people working out... a mean, just beautiful and it makes me disconnect from my routine.

Gorgeous parks with an amazing dog park with small and large dog sections. Lots of grass. Walking trail with amazing water views. Playground and sports fields. Only issue is lack of parking

We are new to the area and have only been here post-COVID, so some parts of the park are still closed. I will hopefully be updating this review soon with additional information about areas other than the dog park! As far as dog parks go, this one seems great! We have only been twice, but my 1yr old energetic large-breed puppy LOVES it! Us humans enjoy the view, too. All of the other dogs have been great so far, we haven't come across an aggressive/behavioral dog yet, which is rare for dog parks in general! The owners seem to be attentive and responsive to their dogs- if their dog is getting a little bit too excited, they will remove them from the dog park to let them calm down. The fake grass/turf is perfect, it is hands down the best dog park material. There aren't any toys at this park, so if your dog likes to play with them, feel free to bring some! The other owners are nice as well, and typically let your dog play with the toy they brought for theirs. The only two downsides to this park are 1) the parking SUCKS, especially at peak hours and 2) there's a bit of dog poop around the dog park that isn't picked up. Not a ton, but definitely watch where you step!

So big & beautiful. This is my favorite park in Miami. There are multiple dog park areas, courts, workout zones, etc. There's allot going on here, but in a good way. It's a great place to read, stretch, jog, people watch, & soak in views.

Margaret Pace Park is a beautiful, dog friendly park by the gorgeous Biscayne Bay. During my Miami vacation, my vacation rental (in the Opera apartment building) was right across the street from the park. My husband and I walked our little girl dog at this park multiple times a day, every day (so she can relief herself and also stretch her legs and catch up on the latest hot Miami gossip while sniffing the grass and interacted with all the other dogs). This park actually has a nice dog park with 2 separate sides (1 for large dogs and 1 for small dogs) with plenty of grass (I dislike dog parks that has all just dirt). I greatly appreciate the dog bag dispensers around the park. There is tennis courts and 2 volley ball courts (with sand base to mimic playing on the beach). There is also an easy loop/ trail that goes around the entire park that makes for an easy walk or run (or even a bike ride). I liked seeing some of the different art structures all around the park, including these really tall mosaic looking chairs. Please note that there is only street parking. You can either pay for your parking by downloading the parking app or by paying at one of the pay stations.

Great park with beautiful views of Biscayne Bay. The dog park is great because there's a large one for all dog sizes and a smaller one for dogs under 25 lbs. we couldn't go in yet because my puppy is not 6 months yet. There's tons of dogs and people walking around the park and enjoying the weather. The parking kind of sucks and is hard to find but if you live nearby then you're all set! Can't wait to come back and check it out when my dog is older.

Lovely neighborhood park along the water. Much of the park has reopened at this time. There are times of the day where it is more crowded than others which is why I prefer going early morning to avoid the traffic. The park is family and dog friendly. The basketball court was recently refinished. People enjoy family meals, walking/exercising, playing tennis or volleyball or just enjoying the surroundings in the park when it is fully functional.

This is a great urban park. There's breeze from the bay ocean view, there's BBQ grills, a dog park, tennis courts, children's play area, volleyball area, and really clean bathroom facilities with soap in the dispenser and everything. I will warn you, there are many dogs at this park so if you don't like coming in contact or dogs around you, this is not the place for you. Everyone does their part to curb their dogs since essentially it is the park where the high-rise dwellers take their dogs. I saw some dog poo on the sidewalk though and there is a wafting smell of dog pee and sometimes poo in the park. Also, being that it is an urban park, there are many homeless that circulate and sleep in the park area. But the park is generally safe and has a good vibe. We enjoyed our afternoon there and will return.

Fake grass perfect for a dog park

For Dog park definitely 5 stars all around. The fake grass makes it the cleanest dog park in the Miami Metro area. Makes it even easy to clean up after your pups poops. There's a small and large dog area with benches to sit on. No play toys or ramps for dogs to run, so bring Fido a ball. Its lite up at night too so dogs can play after sunset. The volleyball courts are at one end with the tennis courts and the basketball court at the north end. Volleyball courts are pretty busy at night as leagues and locals play often. The park is situated near the Bay so can get a little windy at times perfect for those summer heat. There is so set parking for this park, but there are meters in the surrounding area for $3 per hour or there's the hotel lot on the South for a flat fee.

Only thing I'm not a fan of is the parking which could be difficult depending on the hours you go (mostly after 5pm). Besides that this park is perfect to unwind. Located next to the Biscayne bay with perfect views for photo ops and/or to just sit and relax. There's a dog park, playground, mini gym, walking/running track, benches, BBQ's, field, basketball court. Many people come here to exercise. I've done various bootcamp classes here as well as yoga. I've also seen teams play soccer at times. You can do whatever you want here as well as bring a picnic blanket and just lay down and relax and enjoy the fresh air from the bay. Perfect to unwind!

We found out this park by accident. We were down the street for some ice cream and decided to take the dog for a walk. We were pleasantly surprised by the park, bay, and dog park. The dog and our group were intrigued by this little park. There was a huge field here and people were playing soccer. It is shadowed by a few high rises. The view of the bay was spectacular. We saw a jet skier and a person on the water jet packs. The dog park was pretty nice; like other dog parks, they have a separate section for little dogs and big dogs. There were a couple of picnic tables to have a nice lunch in the park. This is a nice spot to get your exercise in and take the pup for a nice stroll. There were signs near the water stating that it is a manatee zone which was pretty cool. Overall, a great little spot to enjoy the outdoors.

Lots of dogs, very clean park. There's basketball courts , tennis courts. People exercising and playing with their kids. There is a small gated dog area along with a large gated area. Clean play area, they have filtered water for the pups. They have free clean bathrooms for humans which is a plus

Cool morning spot for tennis in downtown Miami. First come first serve right next to volleyball courts

Ask the Community - Margaret Pace Dog Park

Does Margaret Pace Park have pickleball courts? As a solo player is it possible to join an existing group, and how is this done?

Not yet but they are about to start construction on the park and they plan on building them. I believe they are slated for the third phase of construction.

    Are there pull-up bars?

    I believe so.

Discovered in 1998, the origins of the Miami Circle - an archaeological site in downtown Miami - remain one of the city's most intriguing mysteries. Known by a few different names - the Miami River Circle and Brickell Point, to name two - the Miami Circle was declared a National Historic Landmark in 2009, seven years after it was listed on the National Register of Historic Places. The circle was uncovered in early 1998, when property developer Michael Bauman commissioned a routine archaeological survey of the site. Part of a plan to demolish the existing apartment complex in order to build luxurious condos, the plans were brought to a screeching halt when surveyors discovered hundreds of strange holes beneath a layer of limestone. After further investigation, it was discovered that 24 of the largest holes formed a perfect circle with a whopping 38-foot diameter. Several artefacts were also unearthed - including human teeth and pieces of burnt wood - and radiocarbon dated at roughly 1,800-2,000 years old. According to the Miami Herald, the Miami Circle is perhaps the only evidence of a prehistoric structure in bedrock on the East Coast. Based on the results of the radiocarbon dating, along with the similarities in tools, it's believed that the circle might have been the work of the Tequesta Native American tribe. Some have speculated that the holes were once part of a structure, and most likely a building for ceremonial use. The Tequesta tribe is believed to have settled by the Miami River, occupying coastal terrain along the neighboring Atlantic areas. The tribe was made up of hunters and gatherers, who likely would have used shells and shark teeth for tools - both of which were unearthed during the excavation of the site. With the Miami Circle likely dating back over 1,000 years, it's remarkable that around 85% of its structure is still perfectly preserved. Today, visitors to Miami can head to the site and see the ring of limestone for themselves - although the holes are now covered with soil and grass for protection.
