Recently remodeled with reclining chairs (a few theaters have seat warmers too!). Highly recommend ordering tickets ahead of time through an app because it sells out quick on release dates. There is a bar and grill here as well. read more

I went to see the new Harry Potter movie here and had a horrible experience. The theater was ridiculously hot, it smelled like a locker room that hadn't been cleaned for a month, and the projector was set so that you lost the top part of the picture! While I used to like this theater, it's gone down hill over the last year or two and still charges outrageous rates. If I'm going to pay that much to watch a movie, I'd rather go to the St. Louis theaters & enjoy myself. read more

I was refused service. They would not sell me popcorn or soda because I wouldn't wear a mask to order. Everyone walking around with no masks but you cannot order food without one. Lost my business. The Lincoln theatre in town is better. read more

So far I love it. The remodel/renovation was a success. I've seen at least 5 movies since the remodel. They are keeping it clean. I love reserving my own seats. The fandango has always worked OK. I'm not fond of the convenience fee but it's much better than Ticketmaster. Marcus is right up there with California level cinemas . I'm hoping to try out the DLX Ultrascreen soon. read more

Worst movie watching experience in 20 years. This was a late showing of an R rated movie and theatre allowed families with young children in. They talked all night making it impossible to enjoy the movie. Other people were actively using their phones which added to the distractions. Finally, my chair was broke (it was one of the recliners) so I had to sit sideways all night. read more

Upside: Lobby smells of butter in the most delicious way. Downside: Theaters smell of old gym sock in the worst way. Other than that the seats are small and as I am a taller guy was cramped after about 5 mins. My butt was completely alseep after 10 mins and had to continuously switch the sides I was sitting on.. not a comfortable way to spend 2 hours watching a movie... but we dd get in for $5 each.. so I guess thats good... read more

This theater is just bad. I've been here a couple times and it just seems to get worse every time I go back. Seats are old, broken, and uncomfortable. The floor has that sticky, gross feeling that leaves you wondering what you're stepping into. The overall quality of the movie was poor - sound sucked, picture flickered and moved - what am I paying $10 for??? I don't know what the liquid was that they called "butter", but it was not edible. Why can't AMC buy out this establishment and give us a quality movie theater??? Until they do I will continue to drive to Edwardsville and frequent their AMC theater. read more

WARNING: This is a long post! So we decide to have date night and frequent our local movie theater, Marcus Theaters in O'Fallon. We invested in the popcorn bucket which is suppose to save you money and we also brought our Marcus Theatre SpiderMan Homecoming plastic cups to purchase drinks as well. At the snack stand, the cashier tells me that the SpiderMan cups are only refillable on the day of purchase. Okay, I want the large popcorn and two large drinks. The total came out to $10.89, I used my reward cash to bring the total down to $5.89! He asked if we wanted our receipt, to which we said yes! We go over to the soda machine and select our drinks. As we are heading towards our theater one of the managers approached us. He didn't greet us, he immediately starts to tell us that our cups are not refillable. To which I answered Yes, I understand the cashier told us but we were charged for drinks! He proceeds to tell us about the refill drink policy of the theater; to where I said "would you like to see my receipt?" The popcorn refill is $4.00 correct? He replies, Yes! We paid for an ultimate refill at $10.00. Which means he charged us $3.00 for each drink!!!!! As he is examining the receipt he says, "Well, I am not sure what he charged you for but those cups are not refillable?!?!" Again, Isaac we paid for refreshments if your cashier didn't charge us correctly you need to have some training. This action and his approach made us feels as though we had stolen drinks!!!! Isaac the Theater Manager also needs some customer service training. You don't approach customers the way he did. There is a certain way to approach customers and inform them of certain policies. His way was not correct!!! Not a good look for Marcus Theaters tonight! read more

I think the OFallon Cinema has made a lot of great improvements over the years. I remember when it was just Wehrenberg theaters and since Marcus cinema has moved in the improvements have been incredible. Amazing seating, SuperScreen, and UltraScreen as a few upgrades! Additionally the ability to reserve seats is such a dream. This is my exclusive theater for sure. read more

I have always had good experiences here. Customer service was great today too. We had a birthday party for my kid and the service was much more than expected. Jacob was especially great in coordinating our party. This is no knock on this theater alone, but most theaters in the area can use yearly touch ups as this theatre does. read more

I've had a mixed bag of experiences here at this theater. I've had some movies where the sound is just off, the movie stopped halfway through for a few minutes, and there was no sound for the first couple of minutes of the movie. Fortunately this experience involved nothing of the sort. Other than needing to stop by the bank and taking out a personal loan, going out to the movies is an experience I still love. Nothing beats experiencing a movie on the big screen, especially a movie like Toy Story 3. The line at the ticket office went pretty quickly which was a good thing as it was quite warm out yesterday. The concession line did not go as quickly, but I think you have to expect that to a certain degree. With tickets and snacks in hand we made out way into the theater. I was a bit worried as I have had some less than stellar experiences. I was happy to say that our experience was great. Toy Story 3 looked and sounded just as it should, and the movies was flat out awesome. While it's not something I'm going to be doing every weekend, when a movie comes out that just begs to be seen on the big screen, I will be venturing back to give this place another visit. read more

Disappointed in all the food we ordered! My first stop was to order popcorn, which was bland and no butter even though I asked for butter. Then, before the movie started (Avengers-8:30p on 4-29-2019) I went to order food. I asked for a Classic Burger-NO Burgers available. So, I asked for Chicken Tenders-NO Chicken Tenders either. The nachos were horrible-chips not cooked and SOFT. I couldn't believe my eyes when the cook put the ALREADY COOKED fries that was sitting in the basket since I got there (10 mins) back into the grease and gave it to a customer behind me! Who does that! The grill area was SO dirty. Will never order food off the grill ANYMORE! read more

The girl at the concessions was rude as she took my order and didn't bother to get my items as she talked to another employee. brushed it off but when I walked into the the theater the seats and floor were pretty dirty, couldn't sit at the assigned seats we selected because it was filled with popcorn, and the cupholders were full of wrappers and candy. The soda machines hardly work and the soda doesn't taste good. Will be taking my money to AMC next time. read more

This is our favorite theater, nice comfy rocking seats, lots of leg room and it's always clean. Prices are average for a movie theater, have never had a bad experience here. All movies before noon are only $6! read more

Marcus O'Fallon Cinema - Cinema Near Me - O'Fallon, Illinois

Love the $5 Tuesday's and cheap early Friday movies and seniors get a discount. Seats have been renewed. Sooo comfortable just make the popcorn fresher read more

First visit and really pleased with their customer service and quality of the theater. We were late for our movie and asked if the staff would allow us to use our ticket for a later show. They had no issue with it and were able to work with us to pick a later show time. read more

Really love the new remodeled Theatre. The seats are so comfortable and plush it makes you want to go to sleep. I enjoy being able to pick the seats you have plenty of room to put your stuff if you have any. It doesn't seem like there is a bad seat. Hope your to try the restaurant but I saw the bar and I can't wait to try it soon read more

Nice renovation and friendly staff. But the concession area is never staffed appropriately. Loooonnng lines. The Reel Sizzle took 25 minutes to deliver chicken strips. Ridiculous. read more

I used to go here several times with my father for his mystery shops. I always loved the (Kawaii) items on the top of the shelf for tickets! The good side of this: You can get a stuffed animal on the way home! Whenever you know the movie is starting, they let out a Zero-phone policy (It would be daft not to have one!) You can call me lucky, but I rarely had to pay any money to get in a movie! The bathrooms are A-OK, and the customers have sense enough to dispose their trash and flush (although there were few that were an exception). The concession stands are very bright, and with pleasant employees! In fact, R-rated movies were pretty intense (due to the volume). I liked it when some had social conversations of the movie, which made me pitch in. The employees wouldn't really care if you just brought a child in there. At least that was all right for me! There are a couple downsides: The snacks are a bit overpriced ($3.25 for malt balls or $3.00 for just some Sour Neon Worms when you can buy the same product for a dollar at Walgreens. When it's overcrowded, the place smells of human flesh or just plain gym lockers at its worst. Since there were a lot of people in one of them, I expected to be some litter. At least the employees do an effort to get the floors clean after each showing! Once it piles up, litter can get really ridiculous. The theater, itself was a little chilly (on a chilly day). There can also be very rowdy moments at the game room. In the movie, it can get so quiet that you can hear sickly sniffling, sneezing and whatnot! Overall, I give this place an A for my experience! read more

Would be great if they enforced their no cell phone policy. Don't waste your money going to a new movie. If it's busy you'll see a ton of kids on their phones lighting up the crowd and distracting you from the movie. read more

My husband and I go to the movies all the time. We love the remodeled theater. The app makes it easy to order tickets online in advance and reserve the perfect seats. The recliners are very comfortable. $5 Tuesday is great and can't forget the free popcorn. We are constantly getting rewards. We just received a $5 gift card. I was able to use it towards a ticket purchase that we made for next week. read more

Late night it's too many disrespectful kids that don't know how to enjoy a show. Lots of people got refunds because they couldn't enjoy the movie that was playing. This is bullshit. read more

Always a good show at the theater. Messed up our drinks this time but they had no problem getting it fixed.

Nothing to complain about or rave about really. It was fairly clean and not too crowded. There is a little arcade area with games and air hockey to entertain the kiddos (and fathers) before the movie. read more

This particular visit to the theater was just like the others. The bathrooms were filthy and the person who waited on us at the concession counter was rude and seemed to want to be anywhere but there. The seats in the theater were quite comfy, and I'm thankful the rest of the experience was pleasant. I will say that I'll be hard-pressed to return to this theater. read more

Why don't they spend a little money and at least paint the outside of this place. Maybe stay away from seeing movies in the daytime, its looking quite shabby and run down! read more

Had a great customer service experience here tonight. I made a stupid mistake and bought 4 tickets in advance online for Friday night accidentally instead of Saturday. So when I went to the theater, my tickets were of course expired. I went to the ticket counter to see if I had any options. The manager was there and instantly offered me admission to see any movie tonight or 4 passes for a future night. My wife and friends were able to see the movie we wanted and it saved the night! read more

Seen about 6 movies here since they have upgraded.... 3 times they had light issues... how hard is it to turn the lights off before the movie starts and leave them off until the end of the movie?? Seriously! read more

I went to see the Adams Family with my kids and had to turn back around and put my purse back in my car cause they told me my purse was too big to get into the movie theater i have a regular size purse but because it did not fit inside of this make shift box they made out if duct tape it wasn't permitted inside the building i guess the reason why I am writing this review is to say if you have rule and regulations to enter your place of business they need to be on your web site on the door something people should be aware of this before they buy movie tickets not after....what if i didn't have a car to put my purse in what if i got dropped off, what if i caught the bus the whole situation was just a mess read more

What can I say, it's a movie theatre. It is marginally clean and they serve overpriced concessions in a less than prompt or courteous fashion. Its clear that there are not a ton of theatre options in the area because they have no incentive to be great or even good for that matter. read more

One of the classiest movie theaters out there and the 5 dollar movie tuesdays keep me coming back, especially during the summer! Staff is consistently friendly and the theaters never feel crammed even when they're completely full and entry is super easy when I preorder tickets! I can get to the theater and within 5 minutes I'm sitting at my seat with my popcorn, love this place! read more

I really enjoy this movie theather, the chairs recline back and are very comfortable, they even had a booster seat for my daughter, the staff seemed very nice, got my tickets, a little pricey, but hey, what movie theater with new movies isn't these days, i would definatly come back here whenever there is a movie i want to see. don't have much else to say, just that its a overall nice, clean establishment with good sound quality and awesome seats that shows the newest movies..that about sums it up! read more

On Wednesday I went to the 12:30 show to see Coco with my husband. This is by far the worst experience I have ever had at the movies. I purchased my seats ahead of time since they are reserved seating. When I got there to get my tickets the self service computers wouldn't print my tickets with the code I was given. I went to the desk for help and the lady was very rude. She couldn't get the code to work either she asked to see my phone and dropped my phone and did not apologize. The lady acted as though she could not do anything for me and she only got someone else to get our tickets after I asked her to get someone else that could help me. The concessions wasn't too bad the guy working didn't know how to work the register so that took a while. When we got into the movie theater and find our seats the lights were on for 10 minutes after the movie started. The lights were not even dimmed for the previews. I will not be returning to this theater even though it is close to my home I would rather drive to AMC in Edwardsville where they care about the guest experience. read more

They have a no cell phone policy while the movie is going. Yeahhhhh.

Its expensive. We go to the movies in a lot of different states, and this one is about 2 dollars (or more) above what we experience. The food also costs a whole lot. Its clean, and nice though. Our family just tries to avoid it, especially since renting a movie is so much cheaper. 3D Avengers was $24 for my husband and I and that is just to much. Movies also sell out really fast, so order online and you will not have to worry about that. read more

I was totally impressed by the Whole Movie experience. From the front customer service to back concession stand. Great job! Then go into the movie and it clean big and very comfortable lounge chairs great sound system. The BEST Movie experience I ever had! Holding back cinema technology in St. Louis. Wehrenberg has not installed Dolby Atmos in even a SINGLE location despite two years of availability, and ZERO competition in St. Louis. I have e-mailed with a manager at Wehrenberg, and they seem genuinely disinterested in adding the technology, leaving St. Louis as the largest city without Dolby Atmos. I refuse to spend a dime here until they offer us Dolby Atmos. I drive to Champaign or Kansas City for it. Seriously! read more

Saw down sizing tonight at 7:30. It's $5 Tuesday so it was a packed house. I stood in the concession line to get popcorn and a shake while mom stood in the grill line to get chicken fingers. When I got to the counter and ordered the lady said I can't get a shake in that line; I had to go to the grill. This is fine if the "sweets" menu isn't in front of the concession stand! It is my opinion that it'd be a wise choice to not display items at one counter that must be ordered at another. Thankfully Mom was just then being helped at the grill so I ran over there to order my shake. That's when the employee says they are out of chocolate, vanilla, and strawberry shakes but they offered to make a shake out of any of their other ice cream flavors, so I got a cookie dough shake. This is when the real issue was experienced. They were extremely understaffed. The line was 15 people long, and they had one person cooking and NO ONE making shakes. Mom got her chicken strips in about 15 minutes and it was 25 before I got my shake! Timing is especially important here as we had a movie we paid to see! They have got to staff more appropriately because there were many dissatisfied customers tonight. read more

The new renovations ( Marcus theatres) are great. I would recommend going here if you want to go to a movie. Be sure to book tickets ahead of time read more

I enjoy the Cine 15. I haven't been in awhile because of the prices, to be honest, but it's a good choice of theatre with lots of screens and show times. In the theatre we were in, the seats have been revamped to leather-like reclining rocker chairs w/moveable arm/drink rests. The theatre was clean (no stinky floors! Praise Jesus!) and the sound and screen quality was good. I can say it always freezing. The temperature had changed yesterday, but it changed early on. Try bad plenty of time to adjust. In capri leggings, two tanks, and a hoodie jacket I still had goosebumps. By the time we walked outside my teeth were literally chatting. While it's typical of most theatres, my biggest gripe is the price of everything. For two of us, we spent $36.50 on two tickets and a popcorn and soda to share. Too bad because we are both movie buffs and would go to a lot more movies if it was more affordable. Even if the concessions were more reasonable it would help. read more
