Great pizza for a great price! My go to is the sausage and onion pizza. Easy parking and fast service!

Really Tasty Pizza. I believe consistently the best in town. Always get the garlic & Parmesan crust toppers and it never disappoints.

They weren't wrong- the focaccia bread is soft and served fresh with some olive oil and Parmesan cheese as a dip, although I still prefer olive oil and balsamic as a dip. Butternut squash raviolis were fresh, tender, and savory. All delicious. Could be a great date nite stop as well for those looking for something romantic.

DO NOT ORDER THE ALFREDO…read more Pros: The complimentary focaccia bread Lots of Gluten Free options Staff was very nice and charming Nice looking vibes Short rib ravioli Cons: Alfredo anything I was extremely disappointed in my regular Alfredo dinner. I can't remember the last time I didn't eat more than a few bites at a restaurant. The waiter suggested I add chicken and it somehow made it worse. It was watery and not tasty at all. I thought it was just me, but another person in our party ordered the shrimp Alfredo and also didn't finish it. I ended up buying the chicken Milanese salad on my own tab (I was with a party) to go and it was much better. But I shouldn't have to order a different dish to make up for one I didn't eat. Maybe it was just a bad night for the Alfredo pasta dishes but something basic like that should not be poor quality. This was really disappointing because we live 2 hours away and my family would talk up this restaurant for years.

During the Memorial Day weekend, while staying at Levis Commons, I decided to walk to a nearby…read morerestaurant for dinner and ended up discovering Basil Pizza and Wine on May 25. It was a charming Italian spot with a cozy dining room and a welcoming patio. The menu looked great, so even though it was already late and only about a half hour before closing, I chose to dine there. I was a little worried I might feel rushed because of the time, but that did not happen. I was greeted warmly by the hostess and the manager as soon as I walked in, which immediately made me feel welcome. Since it was a bit cool outside, I chose to sit in the dining room. I was seated in Sydney's section, which turned out to be perfect because she was an excellent server. Even though she had already started the closing tasks in the dining room, she still provided outstanding service. She was attentive, polite, professional and efficient. She took my order right away and kept the soda refills coming without me ever having to ask. Sydney's service really made the difference and it complemented my delicious meal. In an era where many restaurants feel inattentive or simply not invested in the guest experience, Basil Pizza and Wine delivered a memorable evening. It ended up being an unexpectedly great dinner and it will be my go to restaurant the next time I am staying in Perrysburg. Sydney and the restaurant were fantastic.

My friends got alcohol and they seemed to love their cocktails. We ordered bruschetta and our waiter warned us that it's not your typical bruschetta. We tried it anyways. My friends absolutely loved it. I hated it lol. It's EXTREMELY sweet. It's got a lemon marscapone cheese. The bread is very soft and fluffy and tastes great, but they pile that sweet cheese thick on top of it and it's just not my cup of tea. My friends ordered pizza and they loved what they ordered. I ordered the Caesar salad and added chicken. The Caesar dressing is chefs kiss. I absolutely loved it and wish I could've taken a bottle of it home with me. The chicken was cooked well, but definitely needs more seasoning. It took a bit to get our checks, but overall it was a great experience.

The atmosphere was dainty, casual, and intimate all at once. It gave me cozy date-night vibes without feeling too dressed up. The concept reminded me of a more laid-back version of a trendy local pizza spot, but with its own charm. Let's talk about the crust because WOW. Their hand-tossed pizza had that pillowy soft texture that just melts in your mouth--the kind that makes you pause mid-bite like, "okay wait... this is GOOD." Truly a whole sensory experience. We ordered the classic cheesy bread (which was deliciously gooey and perfectly golden) and the Hawaiian pizza with a BBQ base--such a fun twist! Sweet, smoky, savory... it just worked. Also, I had a humbling moment when I realized not all cheesy breads automatically come with marinara sauce rookie mistake, apparently. The customer service was warm and welcoming from start to finish. Nothing over-the-top, just genuinely pleasant and attentive--which honestly makes such a difference. Overall, such a cute, cozy spot with great food and even better vibes. Definitely earned a spot on my favorites list, now, too.

The food is very fresh and large portions. Beautiful atmosphere. Will definitely try again.read more

I loved being able to sit in the side with all of windows next to the patio. There were so many options on the menu for everyone in the family and everything turned out delicious! I kind of thought the nicer tables would have been saved for folks that made reservations. The waitress took forever to take our drink orders. It took forever to get the drinks. We ordered our meals when the drinks came so we could try to get ahead of the curve. The soup/salads came and before we could finish, the main courses started coming out. This really upsets me. Take forever to take our orders and then rush us out the door. Dinner rolls are available, but one has to ask for them. It's in very small print on the menu. Why the server can't ask if the diners would like bread is B.S. I know their method saves them money, but I think they could change their practice and still keep the lights on. The prime rib was tough and not very flavorful this time. The server didn't bus any of the salad or soup dishes, so the table was an overly crowded mess by the end. Seriously, to have to keep your side towards the middle of the table is just a P.I.T.A. Not sure how much potato fell off of my fork on its way to my face. The price for dinner this time was $107.00 for the same meal we had back in November. That does not include the tip. In the end, not worth it in any way.

We arrived 45 minutes before closing, and the host asked if we'd like to sit in the bar where they offer the full menu. Saying yes was fine until the last 15 minutes. A better choice would have been to sit in the dining room. We started off with drinks, V ordered a Mai Tai, and I had a Tequila something or other. The drinks tasted good, if I were a betting person, I'd say that they touched the ice with alcohol, and that's about it. I don't drink very often, so I always know if a drink contains a meaningful amount of alcohol. They brought out a warmed puff bread. It was unique for sure, and tasted good too. Our appatiser was Lobster Tail served on a bed of vinegar-based coleslaw with miso or something similar. The flavors worked together fabulously. V's entree was a beef stir fry. He said it was ok, but nothing special. He also ordered the Smoked Gouda & Rosemary Mac & Cheese with bacon. That side dish was very tasty, but overpowered my entree, though it paired well with his beef. I had the Miso Halibut, which came over with Sweet Chili Bok Choy and Jasmine Rice. This entree had perfectly paired flavors; I'd certainly like to have it again. Our waitress was friendly and attentive; we couldn't ask for better service. Sitting in the bar wasn't a good idea as in the last 15 minutes a loud-mouthed womanizing man started sharing his conquests with six other people.

All of the food was amazing, but hands down the table favorite was honestly the whipped feta. It's what dreams are made of! It had a slightly spicy oil topper, and delicious crostini! The only note I would give, is that the bacon appetizer really needs to come with a steak knife for sharing. It was a little too hard to cut with just the butter knife. Steaks and sides are all prepared perfectly, the button mushrooms were a hit as well. I would completely recommend this restaurant to anyone, and will return again if I'm back in the area.

This location, in…read moreWhitehouse, features a similarly great "tangy but not too sweet" sauce, soft thin crust, and very flavorful cheese blend. The toppings, for me, pepperoni and jalapeno, are fine too. Jo Jo's in Whitehouse is unique in that it features an all-you-can-eat buffet several days per week. The buffet includes pizza, subs, cheesy bread, and several dessert pizzas. What this Jo Jo's DOESN'T have is the other Jo Jos' awesome antipasto salad with homemade Italian dressing (some of the best Italian dressing I've had anywhere). What this Jo Jo's DOES have, however, is an outstanding chef salad. I usually skip the turkey and croutons, and request double bacon. Okay, the bacon is amazing. I'm serious, it's actually amazing! It's cooked fresh and crumbled for each salad. I get the salad with Greek dressing, as the Italian, at this Jo Jo's, is not the same recipe used on Monroe Street or at Mayberry. Now, I'm a pizza addict, but I'm also trying to stay in shape as I get older. You might be able to argue with me about the healthiness of bacon, but this salad is amazing and has almost no empty carbs. Eating it is as satisfying (almost) as eating a pizza. Service is great. Most of the people working here are high school and college aged kids, but they're not a bunch of Gen Z slackers. They hustle, and your food gets out to you quickly. FINALLY, Jo Jo's in Waterville has a TMNT pinball machine (Data East, 1991) that costs a quarter and is in very good shape. Also, you'll find a 60-in-1 Multigame rig. Beat me in Dig Dug? Dream on. FIVE STARS!
