This place is a complete dumpster fire. Half the tables are missing. It's noisy. The staff is rude. They're no longer serve alcohol who wants a pizza without a beer. One staff member must've been on break, but he FaceTime someone and had the volume so loud that we could hear the conversation on the other side of the restaurant completely clueless and unprofessional. I will not visit this restaurant anytime in the near future. I'm not even sure I'll order a to go pizza from there the way the inside of that place looked. Terrible service, dirty tables, dirty restaurant, uncommunicative teens running the place. Ordered a pizza and a salad. Pizza was ready in 20min, salad took 40minutes and I had to return to the counter several times to remind them to make it. I witnessed two employees throwing food at each other inside the kitchen while preparing orders. Floor was filthy. We were there for 50 minutes or so, and I did not see one person wash their hands the whole time. Not one employee checked on the front of the house to tidy or wipe tables while we were there. Marcos used to be a nice place to go, and sit and enjoy a meal. But DO NOT EAT HERE! The people making the pizza have no hair nets and their long stringy hair is just dangling over the pizza. That's gotta be some kind of health violation. Then the music they are playing says curse words every other word!!!! Then we went to get a table and it was like the freaking titanic rocking back and forth !!! ABSOLUTELY NONE of the tables were clean or in good condition absolutely none of the bathrooms were clean or in good condition. And the booths were so destroyed and gross looking I was embarrassed to eat there!!! Go get pizza at Slice Works on Colorado and 120th!! Much better and much cleaner. Marcos in Thornton used to be my go to pizza place. The last two years it's just gone down hill. Tonight will be the last time I order from them. The pizza was burnt and looked like it had been sitting out for hours. The wings looked like they were sauced by a blind person. The breadstick were not edible....how to you mess up breadsticks? Only thing that saved them from 1 star was the food was good. I took video of a couple other spots like the overflowing bathroom trash cans and towels all over the floor but didn't realize I couldn't upload. The booths and tables weren't even in place. Old food on the floor. Staff had ear buds in and could care less about customers in the store and awful attitudes. I ordered a XL Sausage Pizza and received a peppers, onions and mushroom. When I called to let them know, Brian said no I took your order. He said you ordered a deluxe. He called me liar and hung up. I had really hoped that under new ownership things would have got better. This team is even worse. Two stars because the pizza is actually good. It's just about how much patience you have to wait. This isn't even about the time it takes to make it, it's about the time it takes to wave an employee down to get your take out order that has been sitting there. LOTS of employees in the back. One poor girl on the cash register with a line wrapping around the front area. One guy bringing pizzas to the front shouting names, intentionally not making eye contact with anyone, setting the pizzas on a shelf behind the counter and running back to the back. This man also shouts names and orders like he's calling them from across an ocean. If you are this man: the stack of pizzas doesn't go away if there's no one HANDING THEM TO CUSTOMERS. As a shock to no one, the lobby cleared out when pizzas start being handed to people rather than placed on a shelf. Management has many process improvements that need to be made before this would be an enjoyable place to grab food. read more

I ordered 3 pizzas; one was a small cauliflower crust with mushroom, red onions, tomatoes, and pineapple - did not get the mushroom or red onions. I did get a couple slices of jalapeño included that was not requested. The cheese pizza I ordered was lacking a sufficient quantity of cheese, had to look real close to actually see it. The 3rd pizza was a large with green olives, green peppers (maybe 8 to 10 slices of the pepper throughout the pizza), and red onions. There were some random ingredients added that were not requested as well. I live close to this location so this is the goto when we want pizza but I've very disappointed this evening. If you suffer from anxiety and depression, you have likely attempted to place an order from Marcos. Somebody, please, insert an adult into this operation! After a moderate transactional exchange between the cashier and I, we were immediately greeted by some friendly faces with the unanimous question, "How long have you been waiting for your food!?" I have three children, under the age of eight, and I have overly-inflated confidence that I have experienced, what I assumed was, chaos. Marcos has over 15 child workers (likely over the age of 18?) trying to make your pizza while screaming at one another with AirPods in their ears (which, as I'm thinking through this, may have been the reason my purchased order was not made within the hour that we waited ?) and blaming one another as to why the 'pizzas have been lost'. I, for sure, saw somebody fingering the pepperonis with an ungloved finger! One can only insinuate that this individual was envisioning an act of resentment toward their counterparts (plural) who walked out to grab a drink and an unspoken for box of cheese-sticks during these optimal service hours. At this point I am salivating with envy and disgust.. as this unheralded "break" grew my hunger deeper. As I glanced through a window pane, admiring the first flake of Winters' snow, dwindling ever so gently to the ground, I was abruptly interrupted with the fourth request of, "what did you order?" from the cashier. When this location opened, I was excited to see a place in the neighborhood that serves beer and wine, has a small bar and a good sized TV to watch sports etc... At the time, this was the only place within miles to offer such a thing, and the employees were great. After a few years there was a change in management and it was quite noticeable. Despite the poor reviews and a bad experience once, I've continued to be loyal when I'm in the mood for some pizza and a beer. However, upon my last visit (a few days ago) I discovered that the bar was shut down indefinitely. I was told that they got busted for serving minors. What a complete failure of management. You can't train your employees to simply check an I.D. if the customer looks under 30 years old? No more beers on the patio for me I guess. This is just the latest stupid incident for this place. Well my first and last time for Marco's pizza. Ordered on line, guaranteed pick up time was 5:26, go there at about 5:45, hugh line, all waiting for pizza's that were ordered ahead. Not a good sign. Gentleman I believe to be the manager, brought out a couple of salads to a man waiting at the counter, he shook them up and asked the man waiting, in a very snotty tone, think these are good enough... to this the man, looked at the salad and asked, isn't this supposed to have tomatoes... the manager guy's face got very red, he stormed back to back, throwing a bag along the way. I am still waiting to give my name for pick up...the manager came back with the mans salads and said, and I quote, Well here's hoping the 5th time is a charm...5 times to get a salad right!!! Love this Marcos Pizza. Yes they are often very busy on Friday and Saturday nights. So I try to order during the week. But the pizza is worth the wait. I usually have mine delivered. I actually asked my driver what I should tip and she mentioned that delivery drivers drive their own cars, use their own gas, get paid less per hour when they are out driving and do not get paid the delivery fee. She is so appreciative when I pay her in cash. read more
