We usually order online from Marcus Pizza and have always had great experiences. The staff has always been friendly, and we've never had any issues with our orders. This time, however, we decided to go inside and order in person. While waiting, we noticed one of the employees at the pizza-making station repeatedly using his phone to watch videos. Normally, that wouldn't be a concern, but what stood out was that he would touch his phone and then immediately go back to handling food without washing or sanitizing his hands. This happened multiple times right in front of customers. We've always enjoyed Marcus Pizza, which is why this experience was disappointing. We hope management addresses food-handling and hygiene practices to ensure customers can continue to feel confident about the food being prepared. read more

This is the place to go if you're doingow carb or keto. You can get a deluxe Pizza Bowl - which is like a pizza plate without the crust. And this will be enough for three meals for me. The only thing I don't like is the onions and peppers because they don't chop them but that's just me. So I skipped the peppers this time next time I'll skip the onions. It was fast it was hot and it lets me eat the way I need to eat. read more

I have been a customer of the Shakopee Marco's Pizza for the last 5+ years. Shakopee like any town has a number of Pizzerias for your choosing. I tried all of the different pizzerias in town but I have not run into an establishment where they can beat Marcos price and quality of food. Yes, you could probably pay for a better pizza at a local restaurant, but it would be double in price and the crust would taste of cardboard. The coupons that are online are a killer deals. If you join the point club. it's really easy to occur points for discounts of future orders. The service is pretty typical of a pizza place. The staff has always been friendly to me. I've been disappointed enough by this place we stopped going. It has been over a year and we thought we'd give them another shot, so glad we did. We ordered for pick-up got a large thin crust with white sauce (which after researching is a garlic parmesan sauce), steak, & chicken. And of course their cheese bread as that has always been my favorite. When we first peeked at the pizza it looked like jerkey on top which we were not excited about but after we got home and looked closer, which is why there is a closer picture, it looked good. So we got excited and dug right in. The cheesebread was exceptionally good like I didn't even want to try the pizza. But I'm glad i did, it was very good. I wish the crust bent a little more but it wasn't cracker thin which I like, was able to hold my toppings. The pizza came across a little dry, next time I may try mixing the sauces as the added pizza sauce helped but it was yum! They may have just won us back. The biggest issue was we didn't get the confirmation email with a time frame till after we got home from picking the pizza up. And honestly there is no indicator the pizza was done, we guessed. They only will cater to those in their town no matter how close you are. 7 miles is too far for them to deliver so they don't need any more business I guess. I do know they have delivered further than 7 miles if you have an approved address which brings me back to who the hell is running this business? We like Marcos. Their pizza is good. But today I am leaving this review for their customer service. Not sure if a manager or owner will read it, but here goes. I called to ask about the specials. Several options were provided. The 2x2 topping medium pizzas for 6.99 each was the decision after conferring with the clan. One medium with ham & pineapple, one medium with chicken and bacon. After the order was in, the total he gave of $18+ made me ask, wait what? I'm not great at math, but 7x2=14 + $4 tax? No, he explained, that's the second toppings you ordered. Apparently I had misheard? He said, you can get a two topping large pizza and cheesy bread for 15 and change. I said great, make it half and half. Total: 17-something. Fast forward 20 minutes and my wife is there to pick it up. They asked her for a coupon, she said my husband called and was told it was a special, no coupon needed. Nope, sorry, you need a coupon. After 10 minutes of back and forth with Marcos personnel, prices changed, cheesy bread was no longer included, yadda yadda and she was so exasperated she walked out. Marcos, we like your pizza. We want to eat it. But your incompetence at basic customer service tonight, and complete unwillingness to accept that at least half of any miscommunication might have been yours to own, will keep us away from your door for a good while. We are not alone in ordering pizza delivery from here & never receiving it. After 90 minutes of no pizza we called. They wouldn't talk to us on the phone & would just put us on hold. When my husband & our friend went in to figure out the problem they didn't even care...the manager didn't care & they still didn't have our pizza made. Their excuse was (which was the same excuse I've heard them give others)...they're too busy. Something doesn't add up with this place. There were 2 other ppl there @ the same time with the same problem. This place is a joke. Who are the owners & why don't they care?? Want good pizza? Go somewhere else. We've had not one, but TWO awful experiences here. We ordered the "White Cheezy" pizza, which is a specialty pizza on their menu comprised of white parmesan garlic sauce, bacon, onion, tomato, and feta cheese. The first time we went and ordered this pizza, we got home and opened up the box and it was a plain cheese pizza with red sauce. So, it was totally not what we ordered. We called, and luckily they gave us a credit back for the pizza. Fast forward a month and we decide to give it a second chance because we had the credit and thought, "they can't mess this up a second time, right?" Well, we thought wrong. We get home and this time the pizza is semi-right. It has onion, tomato, and feta cheese. However it also has black olives (not supposed to be an ingredient on this pizza), is missing the bacon, and it has red sauce instead. I'm sorry, but the pizza's name is literally "WHITE Cheezy". How hard is it to mess up one of your speciality pizzas, not once, but twice?! Anyway, there's a Pizza Hut down the street from this Marco's location, I'm sure you'll have better luck there. read more
