The food is consistently excellent, and the menu has a great variety, although I almost always end up ordering the barbecue because it's just that good. My favorite item by far is the smoked chicken wings with the dry rub--they're some of the best wings I've had anywhere. The ribs and brisket are also outstanding and never disappoint. The service can be a little hit or miss depending on the day, but the quality of the food keeps us coming back. The atmosphere is relaxed and welcoming, whether you're grabbing a seat at the bar, settling into one of the comfortable booths, or enjoying the patio on a warm summer evening. It's unfortunate since I want to cheer for the small town restaurants. There's so much they could offer in personal touch and experience. Unfortunately this experience left us feeling like "if this is the better half, then I don't want meet the other half."
