We called this fair establishment, and upon a brief conversational interlude, it was established that indeed, we shall be blessed with a pizza pie within the hour. We requested that "Dylan Dude" adorn our pizza box with a beautiful siren, to which he replied: "Fair maiden, I shall fail you not." And so it was, Dylan delivered our sweet, sweet Big Bonanza pizza unsullied and beautifully inscribed with the fantastical creature. But seriously. We called drunk and ordered pizza and asked Dylan to draw us a mermaid on the pizza box. He gladly acquiesed to our request. Pizza was hot, good, on time, and the customer service was stellar. Good job "Dylan Dude."

The oysters were salty and cold, delicious! The southwest egg rolls were crispy and delicious. Next we had the Philly cheesesteak and Cajun chicken pasta. The cheesesteak was cooked perfectly and loaded with peppers and onions, could have had more seasonings for my taste but still very good. The pasta was on point and very good. Full of flavor and the pasta was cooked just right. Service was quick, attentive and personable. The ambiance was really good. Set inside an old warehouse it was open and spacious. Pool tables, video games, large screen tvs and music that was just the right volume. Family friendly atmosphere but they do serve alcohol if that's an issue for you. We stopped in at La Cabaña by JUAN for an early dinner and had a decent overall experience. One…read morething I appreciated right away was that drinks come in generous pitchers -- great value if you're going with a group. Chips and salsa were brought to the table without having to ask, which is always a welcome touch. Service was attentive considering there was only one server handling the floor. Props to them for keeping things running smoothly. The food was middle-of-the-road -- not the best Mexican I've had, but certainly not the worst either. If you're looking for a solid, no-surprises meal, it'll do the job. The atmosphere is actually one of the highlights. It's a nice bar setting, well-lit, and wasn't overly loud during our early visit -- easy to hold a conversation, which isn't always a given at a bar. Now, the restrooms could use some attention. They're a bit dated and in need of updating. I did get a chuckle out of the handwashing requirement sign posted prominently on the wall -- right next to the one soap dispenser that happened to be completely empty. It makes you wonder how closely that policy is actually enforced. Overall, La Cabaña by JUAN is a fine spot for drinks and a casual bite. Just maybe bring your own hand sanitizer.

So you are looking for a huge steak, or a wicked good deal on chicken breast, or actually those square lunchroom pizzas from your child hood memory, Guess where you go, Patrick's. Yes, crispitos, cheese sticks, Mexican pizza, square pepperoni pizza, you name it, and they have it (unless they are sold out). But don't kid yourself, you really have to come here for the steaks, some of the most tender cut of beef I have ever eaten. All steaks are cut to a 1 inch diameter that is in the meat case, but you can request 2 inch cut or 3 inch cut, whichever your heart desires. And 2 inches of a NY Strip or ribeye with the correct seasoning and grilling method. Amazing! We got to meet Patrick, he was actually the one who asked us if he could help us find anything and shared a little bit about the market. We asked if we could get some steaks cut and he was more than enthusiastic to help us. Our special request and within seconds Patrick's disappears to the back to cut our requested order. Exceptional service, amazing values. They also have a seafood case (we didn't try but almost got some scallops because they look amazing). We will definitely be back,we will drive out of our way to purchase here and get amazing steaks. You are definitely missing out if you don't go here at least once.
