They don't…read moretake reservations so that can be challenging with a large group but I called ahead to find out the best time to come in. We only had to wait about 30 min. With a large group & a small waiting area that was a bit tough but they took great care of us while we waited. I got a whiskey sour that was delicious. Once the table was ready the flipped it super quick to get us seated & started caring for us right away. The food was delicious! I got a Cuban which is a favorite of mine. Absolutely loved it & it was still great as a left over the next day. Several people at the table got the burger. They mentioned they would've liked more topping but that it was still delicious. Someone got fish & someone else got a steak they raved about how great it was. The fries were top notch. I'd go back just for the fries. The restaurant was loud so it was hard to talk in a large group. It was very clean & maximized the small space they have. When it's not the middle of summer it would be nice to sit outside on their patio. It seemed like if you were willing to sit there you got sat & served immediately. They kept the restaurant cool for the door being opened a lot. All of the staff were very helpful & helpful. We found this place because two friends who used to live here recommended it. Neither of them know each other & for them to both recommend the same restaurant out of all the amazing looking restaurants in town, we had to check it out. When we're in town again we'll definitely be going back. Highly recommend!

Wow! A friend and fellow Yelp Elite recommended Main Street Meats to me, and said if we dined…read moreanywhere during our visit to Chattanooga, it had to be here. After an incredible lunch here, I could not agree more! The location is easy to access with some free and paid parking options nearby. We stopped in on a Sunday around noon and didn't have to wait for a table. The building is part meat market, part restaurant, with fun modern decor and lots of natural lighting. They have both indoor and outdoor seating, though we opted to sit inside since it was already a warm day. Our server was great, and the food was just as wonderful. We ordered the pork rinds, grilled figs, tomato salad, and the burger to share. Every bite was full of flavor and made you want to go back for more! The tomatoes in the salad were lovely and fresh, and the burger was cooked to perfection and topped with housemade pickles and melty cheese. We didn't have room for dessert this time, but we'll definitely be back the next time we're in Chatt.

On my quest to find a great homegrown tomato, I stopped by after taking my dad to lunch. It was…read moreclose to 1pm so the vendors who bring their fresh produce were gone. I went inside to Ayers where they had a room full of people looking at their produce. I noticed the prices for produce seemed higher than other places where I have shopped in the last week. Tomatoes were in two different areas of the store. One display placard said tomatoes for $2.49 a pound. The other placard said Amish tomatoes for $4.99 a pound. After looking at the $2.49 tomatoes, seeing some were overripe and leaking, I went to look at the $4.99 a pound Amish tomatoes. There were 5 of us checking these tomatoes out. Hubs handed me a bag and I put 1 tomato in it. He picked out another tomato and put it in the bag. The squash and zucchini were larger than I like so we went to check out. I paid $11.67 for my two tomatoes. They were on the large side. As for taste, they taste good. So far the best tomatoes I have eaten were bought from The Fresh Market. Those tomatoes were grown in Kentucky. If you are looking for multiple types of fresh vegetables and fruits, Ayers has them. I will have to return early when the farmers are there to see their produce. It's always good to support local businesses.

Also, be sure and expect to wait, depending on the day and time. If you can't, then you can call ahead, and they will TRY to have it ready when you get there.

Decent selection but the OWNERS EGO is too big for me to shop here! Let me start by saying I've…read moreshopped here for 2 years and the men on staff are so nice and friendly. I usually stop in once or twice a week and Dakota is such a cutie and so helpful every time. The other gentleman also such a great smile and so helpful. BUT!!!!! The owner is a petty woman who apparently is never wrong and I just have an issue with a woman who would call another woman a liar and refuse to make any effort to retain customers who you deem "not worth helping". Long story short I bought a cake (same one my son loved at thanksgiving) and when he ate it he said it tastes like ear wax. I tried it and it was off so I called and asked for a call back so we could maybe return it or work this out. I mean I'm a somewhat long time customer, never had an issue, spent lots, surely I'd get help right? Nope! No call back, so I went to speak to someone with my husband and basically got told either I messed up storage or I'm lying... So after 2 years I chose to lie? OK Lady.. So she rudely speaks to me in front of my husband and because she's my elder I just kinda let it go because I'm not try to raise an old lady's blood pressure and I don't argue with ignorance, I'll just dispute it instead of arguing with someone who should've learned sometimes you get bad product.. Your store can't be 100 percent just perfect or maybe she didn't know but it's more than like she didn't care (the vibe she gave was very "oh my people owned colonels and this is the south") but it gets worse. My story stays the same but hers changes. I go in today and she's mad she didn't get her cake back!! You mean the one I messed up or lied about and you basically told me to just deal with it? That cake.. ok.. And then refused to help me and says from now on you must pay me in CASH!! CASH? Ok let's be serious. The product is good but your store is dirty, sometimes over priced, and the ground beef always smells and taste funny (only meat I don't buy) and you are too old to be acting like this. Anyone who's this old should know better don't you think? Maybe you need a course on business or as a customer pointed out to me going out the door you never seem to happy with people of a certain age and color (Lightbulb). I just said that to my husband last time who thought it was because we were a mixed couple. Really hope racism, ageism, or possibly even sexism isn't your issue. Didn't you learn manners? Sometimes I truly hate when someone is blessed with a handed down business they didn't earn and think they can just pick and choose who they deem worthy of excellent customer service. It was a cake, I've spent more on a 3inch porterhouse. I wish you nothing but the best but please remember businesses do get bad product and changing your story from lying, my fault and now (forgot this part) Selling the other half of the cake I didn't buy to a "customer " and they loved it! Ok... so now after 2 months you specifically remembered selling the cake and you know and remember to who and they loved it! I'll save you the demented lies and just let everyone know not to shop there and your views on certain customers. We're good to shop there as long as there is never an issue!
