Ok, so we were all very pleasantly surprised by this place. It was very clean, well decorated with large TVs everywhere but not overly loud. Service was vey prompt and attentive, and let me tell you about the food. Whoa, we had their pepperoni crunch rolls, which were yummier without the sauce, not sure why, but true. I had the Dry rub Cajun wings, super crunchy, hot and moist inside, the Cajun baked oysters, (I know, oysters in Scottsboro, who knew) so good. We also shared a basket of the fried mushrooms, my mom used to like them, but most places use tempura batter, which she does not like. These mushrooms are flour battered, and are scrumptious! Now my wife had a BLT and a cup of chili. Now pay attention, this is not really a negative, but she said it was disgusting but it was more so delicious, because the bacon grease had soaked through the bread, but she said it was AMAZING...bad for the heart but good for the soul! Went at lunchtime on a Saturday. The restaurant was moderately busy, and we were instructed to seat ourselves. Server was quick to bring menus and take our drink orders. The food was hot and delicious. The fries were mediocre, but the tater tot's were 10/10. Fried pickle burger and boneless wings were also very good. We arrived, place was empty but every table was dirty, staff ignored us while they chatted to each other. Food was ok. Shrimp was tiny. Portions small. Wings were good. Maybe it was an off night? Just not happy about the advertised " crispy wings" that actually tasted like rubber and the pre shucked oysters that had a film over them from being dried out in fridge. Fries limp not crispy at all , service not bad but just didn't communicate very well. read more

Food is yummy. However, it was my little brothers birthday and my father went and spoke to them to ask them if they did anything for birthdays. They said yes and they said they would sing and he would get a free dessert. We had paid and were then waiting for them to sing. We waited a long time and then it was evident they weren't going to. Stopped by Jefferson's in Scottsboro the other day for a quick lunch. I've heard from a number of people that their wings are very good (which they Are), but their house salad is amazing too. I ended up ordering the club sandwich, 5 Nashville hot wings, and a house salad. Everything was wonderful, including the service, but the two things I loved the most were the wings and salad. That salad had just the right amount of cheese, the croutons were excellent, and the ranch dressing was yummy! read more

I have to share this. I had dinner last night at Jeffersons in Hampton Cove I had the barbecue fried chicken chunks on white cheddar mac & cheese. It was recommended to me and it was the BEST MEAL EVER. I guarantee I will order that a ton and it's huge. Great food, great service, nice sports bar atmosphere! Out in Alabama visiting family and had a long busy day, too tired to cook anything, so we decided to drive around town in search of something new we can't get in AZ. Stumbled on this place at 9:30pm and we were so happy we did. Everything we ate and drank just hit the spot. Had fried jalapeños, boneless chicken wings, incredibly tasty burger, and a couple great cocktails. Again, everything was great! Also our waitress was really welcoming and nice and went out of her way to make us feel at home! Would definitely come back! Was in town for the men's conference staying next door at the Country Inn. Was hungry at 10 pm and glad to find them open. Had a great BLT with fries. The bacon was cooked to perfection, a generous portion, with fresh lettuce and tomato. The fries were hot crinkle cut and delicious. Next year will be coming back. Oh and Bre my waitress was great! We celebrated my mother's birthday today at Jefferson's in Scottsboro. We had the pleasure of having Rachel as our server. She was wonderful. She was genuinely friendly, kind, fun and very knowledgeable about the menu. My Mom and her friends loved Rachel as do I. I'd fully recommend Jefferson's for one person or many. Reading other posts, maybe I just hit it at a good time, but I had a delicious dinner with quick, friendly, and delightful service. I got there about 5:30 on a Friday night, with maybe four tables already seated. Soon thereafter, there were no empty tables - lots of locals coming in. My server kept my tea glass full (one of my major parameters for rating service), and took the time on each visit to check on me (another parameter), and to briefly share stories. I'm not much of a salad person, but I was in the mood for one -- and salads are cheaper on Fridays!!! The grilled chicken salad was simply delicious! read more

If you want to deal with poor management go ahead and come here. The kitchen staff must not be doing very well bc every time I have ever eaten here, except for once, the food came out so slow. And the waitress that gave me the best experience was fired I learned. I'm so upset bc she was the best waitress ever. She had been working there for a couple of months I think and then bam all of a sudden they fired her! She was the best waitress I've ever experienced at Jefferson's and my dad would agree with me. Who ever manages this place needs to get it together. They say they're hurting for employees but then keep firing hard working people?? Doesn't make sense. I read the other two reviews on this establishment and I did not experience the bad service they did. My husband and I were driving through town and decided to try Jefferson's because there is a new location opening soon in Madison and wanted to try it. The food and service were both outstanding. We were both made to feel welcome when we walked in. I ordered the chicken tender sandwich with the house sauce and fries and my husband ordered the 20-piece wings with medium hot sauce and fries. Our waitress made sure our glasses were full and she checked on us several times. As far as the waitresses clothing, I felt they were all dressed very tastefully and I didn't feel offended. We will definitely come back the next time we are in Scottsboro. read more

I'm only giving this place 1 star because there's not an option to leave no stars. Our server was rude and acted like she was didn't even want to take our order. A few people came in after us and already had their drinks and orders, before us! We were ready to get up and leave when another server asked if we had been helped, really?! After a brief explanation, she brought us our drinks and assured us we'd have our food shortly. It arrived cold and inedible. Such a disappointing experience.
