Our family has been loyal customers since the store opened. I am more that disappointed that I am posting this review today. We live within a stones throw of the Murray location, but because our house is on a newer street we have always had to explain that we live right around the corner. While frustrating that their system cannot be updated to avoid this confusion every time we order, this has always been resolved. However today I was told by the nice young lady on the phone that her manager (who I could hear in the background) has decided they were just to busy to serve our household today. This place is notorious for never answering there phone. Don't bother calling to place an order. I tried calling this evening because pizza sounded good. Was on hold waiting to speak to a live person for almost 30 minutes I finally gave up. This is the second time this occurred. Honestly, I didn't know what to expect from this place, but because it was so close to our home and the local Pizza hut isn't good, we thought we'd give this place a try. I'm happy to say we are very happy with all the orders we've had, the app and the website need a lot of work but they usually have really good coupons that keep us returning. The pizza they make here is of great quality, the toppings are hefty (although sometimes too big), and the taste brings us back for more. If pizza was more healthy we would be here a lot more, but if you are looking for some good quality pizza that will fill your belly, this is the place you're looking for. read more

We ordered online and when we got the pizza home, it was not what we ordered. They were great and said they would make another pizza according to our order, and they still got it wrong. We ordered Canadian bacon and pineapple. They said they were out of Canadian bacon and just used bacon instead. NOT GOOD! They had our phone number and should have called us. Second time ordering out for their ham and pineapple pizza, which I love so much. I've also had the cheesy bread and the Greek salad, and both were delicious. The only thing I took exception with was the ranch sauce - not my "thing"; they ought to take a page from places like The Pie, Wingers and Chilis when it comes to ranch dressings, but, I digress. This place is a mad house right now. Which is what I get for walking it at 12:45 on a Wednesday afternoon. There were a ton of people waiting and the place needed a little wiping down but I'm not one to nit pick a brand new business. The owner was training an employee who seemed very happy to be there and was very pleasant. The owner himself was also very nice and excited, as well he should be! He quoted us 10 minutes for a sub sammich but it was delivered to us in 6 which I thought was great timing considering it was toasted and they were very busy. The sammich was good. Tons of bacon -which is impressive considering a similar sandwich (at subway) for maybe a dollar less in cost only has a single strip of bacon on it. And the bread was way better! I still need to try the pizza, I'm sure I will soon living with a pizza demon in my home. I hope to change this to a 5 star rating when things calm down a bit. read more

Marco's Pizza - Pizza Near Me - Murray, Utah

I've had several experiences with Marco's pizza in the last year, so this review will sum all of those up. I would also like to add that this review does not reflect in restaurant service as I've only had delivery. The first time I ordered from Marco's, I fell in love. They were brand new and I'd gotten a flier in the mail, so why not, right? The food came quickly, the delivery person was friendly and personable, and the food was awesome. I really liked the texture and flavor of the crust, the crust toppings were really delicious, and I liked pizza topping options. This was October or November of 2014. I ordered from them again in December and the food quality was the same. Very delicious. The pizza was fantastic and the delivery came only slightly later than expected. Unfortunately, after that, my experiences with Marco's went completely down hill. I've ordered from Marco's a handful of times in 2015 and every single time was either a disaster and/or disappointment. The one time that really stands out the most out from all the bad experiences is when I convinced a group of friends I was hanging with to order from Marco's instead of Pizza Hut. We waited almost three hours to get our food. We tried calling the business several times but no one answered, and we were starting to wonder if the business had been robbed, lit on fire, or some other horrible thing because it was such a strange thing that absolutely no one was answering any of our calls. We called another location who called the location we ordered from and they couldn't get an answer and said that they couldn't do anything. Honestly, at that point, we were just really hungry and simply wanted to cancel our order, but since we couldn't get a hold of them we decided we'd just drive down there and hopefully either get our food or cancel the order and get food elsewhere. Our pizza came just as we were getting ready to leave. The delivery person was unapologetic, saying that they were really busy and that they'd gotten the pizza to us as soon as they'd been able to--as if we should have been grateful we'd gotten it at all. Now, I understand a place being busy, that does happen, but I do expect that if that's the case then the manager on duty should call and let us know that the food will be a while and give us the option to cancel. Or maybe they should at least answer the phone. I have started to get the feeling that the location isn't very well managed and that they must have had corporate trainers there when they first opened, which is why my deliveries went so smoothly in the beginning. I've had so many problems with their delivery service this year that I honestly do not want to order from them anymore, which is extremely sad for me because they DO have good pizza, which is why they have two stars instead of one. Their food is very good, and perhaps their in -restaurant service is amazing, but every single delivery I've had from them this year has had issues. So, from my experience, I would say that if you're going to order from this business, perhaps try pick up instead of delivery. I can't really guarantee the service will be better, but it's possible your experience will be much better than ordering delivery. I think that perhaps because their food really is very good for a chain they just have more business than they can handle with the staff they employ. If that's the problem, then I'm thinking that perhaps this business needs to spend more money on getting more employees in to handle the business load. I also think that maybe the owners need to spend more time making sure their employees know how to handle the amount of business they get with good customer service skills. I really WANT to give this business at least three stars because the food has been consistently delicious--even when it's been three hours late--but I just can't given the steady decline of their delivery service and customer service. I will probably give this business another try in another year or two to see if it has improved because I really do like their food; but, at this point I'm not interested in wading through bad experiences in delivery and customer service simply to get a tasty pizza. Good food is only one part of the puzzle. Good customer service is equally as important as the taste of the food. read more

I went to Marco's shortly after their opening night. It was a little chaotic at first - deliveries going out, people milling around, people trying to do their jobs well while a lot of customers were there. Overall, it was a good experience. The restaurant itself is small and it wasn't completely set up yet (some boxes that still needed to be put away), but it was still good. The young woman who took or order was incredibly friendly and knew how to deliver good service. The pizza itself (pepperoni) was good, though not outstanding. Still, it beats Domino's and Pizza Hut by a mile. The wait time for food was about 20 minutes, which is a bit longer than expected. We ordered a cheeseburger pizza (delivery) yesterday and enjoyed it very much. I will order from Marco's again, for sure. If I want to go somewhere to sit and have dinner, I will probably go somewhere else, but I would choose Marco's for delivery over any other chain pizza joint in my area. read more

My family and I have been buying and loving Marco's pizza for years, however, most recently each of my orders has been made wrong. It being a busy time, there's always room for mistakes, but the employees themselves have not been kind nor accommodating. One in particular, was disgustingly sarcastic and even went as far as to bring the raw pizza out to the front to "verify" the only two toppings on the receipt after we had received someone else's pizza. This individual told us that he was doing us a favor by remaking our pizza free of charge, even though we had travelled all the way back to the store to get the new one as he refused to answer the phone for over thirty minutes. This individual was not kind whatsoever and he did his best to make us feel stupid about their mistake. His name tag was hidden, but I'd really like to see him leave this establishment as I do love Marco's and don't believe the company benefits from such spiteful workers. read more

Absolutely horrible service!! I've been going to this location for a long time and NEVER had issues. I don't know if there's new management or what but my last 3 or 4 orders have been TERRIBLE!!! Either my order is not ready and I need to wait forever for it, or the crust is HUGE and not enough filling, or like my last order .. I ordered over the phone, Jessica took my card (card is processing I can prove), and then, when we get there to pickup my pizza, they say that there's no order under my name or phone number. Jessica, RUDELY kept saying, "we don't have an order under your phone" as my card is being charged! She was rude and did not try to resolve the issue, not even an attempt!! Update: This has been a favorite but we have been trying "fancy pizza" joints around SLC over the past few months and returned to Marco's expecting to still love it. The crust was extremely spongy and greasy now. This is a very greasy pizza and it seems like the underbelly of the pizza does not get cooked well. They put wayyy too much sauce on. I really like the pepperonis on the magnifico but we probably won't be back. We have discovered that there is much better pizza around. read more

It's pretty pricey but since I live so close it's convenient. Delivery is speedy. Worth it if you aren't in a pinch.

This location take forever to make and deliver your pizza. We have lived within walking distance from this location and on numerous times they said the wait is over 2 hours. Mind you it's 1:45 in the afternoon i could walk there make the pizza and walk back with in an hour! If you don't want to make and deliver my pizza then don't work at Marcos pizza. Damn! read more

Poor service. Inability to do speciality orders. Long wait times. Generic flavors. Came here for a quick lunch and waited too long. You would be better off going to a more authentic pizza place like Este pizza in sugarhouse. Very generic and bland. I would not recommend. I order from Marcos 2 times a week some months. They have good food. The customer service is not so good. There seems to be a lack of consistency. I am not sure if it is management or lack of educating their workers. When they get a little busy they leave you on permanent hold. Marcos asks you to give them feed back, but never ever have they responded to what your concerns are. I have been a "Loyal Rewards Customer" for years. I called tonight to place an order for carry out and was told they aren't taking anymore orders. If I want to call back in an hour they will take my order. Are you kidding! I went here right after the opening, and like somebody else mentioned, it was crazy. That being said, the pepperoni has two kinds of pepperoni which was so good.
