Delivery order on a Tuesday afternoon: pepperoni & sausage pizzoli, buffalo wings, and garden salad. The order was delivered quickly w/care, and the food was all delicious and incredibly fresh. At a time when many short-order food establishments are still bitching about Covid and it's effects on pricing, availability of choice ingredients and competent workers, Marcos -- and this location in particular -- simply delivers, both literally and figuratively. Doesn't matter if it's delivery or pick-up, this place consistently fires on all cylinders. This pizzoli was stuffed so full of ingredients, I thought it was going to sign up for Jenny Craig. The wings were large and meaty, and the salad so fresh the expiration sticker could've read "sometime in the distant future." Marcos Pizza is a great "stop on the way home" kind of place to pick up your pizza. When I place an order using the app my food is usually ready within 15 minutes. This is the 3rd time we have ordered pizza from Marcos over a few months. That's because they had many discounts. I am very disappointed with this pizza. I will be ordering pizza somewhere else. Midlothian has had a major growth spurt and with it lots of new businesses have come to our town. We have a lot of choices for pizza, and frankly, we are tired of the 'Big 2' in town. So, when the new Mod Pizza (hang on!) came to town, we gave it a try and were very impressed. Impressed enough that when we saw this new Marco's Pizza store pop up within in 2 miles of our house, we thought "they aren't going to last long." Well, one night we decided to give it a try for a carry-out order. I'm so glad we did! It is our FAVORITE because of their thin crust. It's the best! Out of the many times we've ordered (probably at least once a week), I can only remember one time our order got 'lost' and they got right on it while my husband waited in the store. To be fair, it was a very high traffic night in conjunction with a holiday. No big deal! I'm not a big fan of the corporate website where you can drill down and order from a specific location. They definitely need to have a sign in link that takes you directly to the location associated with your email and allow past orders to populate correctly. (They have an online special, 2 1-topping mediums for $6.99 each that has always been available. It's our go-to order. But when you pull up your previous order, the special doesn't get computed in the cart -- even though it's till available. That means I have to do the identical order from scratch.) However, I'm willing to make the sacrifice, and plug it all in again, to get their delicious thin crust pizzas! read more

Pizza is life. That being said- I'm a huge snob. I walked in & ordered in person. Every time someone walked in, they are warmly greeted. Perhaps I'm jaded being the GM took my order & she ensured I snagged myself a coupon. Like one of the previous reviews; I too delivered pizza in Midlo. Downtown might be tightly packed but the city lines are vast. Plus- not everyone answers the door quickly. Also consider a Friday night- it's by far the craziest for delivery. Not a fair reflection. My greek salad & veggie pizza exceed expectations. I see myself making this more than a random quest. If I order a salad & eat it first, I don't feel that bad for eating most of a large. I had never had Marcos Pizza before so I did a call on on the Midlothian location. We got pineapple and Canadian bacon, steak and jalapeno and pepperoni and sausage. We got the pizza sauce, jalapeno ranch and regular ranch. The sauces were all pretty good. We picked up the pizzas and they smelled amazing. The steak and jalapeno was great, the pepperoni and sausage was really good and the pineapple and Canadian bacon was good too. It was $31 for everything which is a good price. We order from this location at least once a week. MOST of the time everything is correct, hot, and very tasty. But since we order from them so often, there are bound to be some issues here and there. But anytime we have had a problem (missing topping, for example), they have handled our issues immediately. We use their app to order, which has come a long way. Anytime we call the staff is nice and take care of us if there's an issue. read more

Was not layers just like some thru the ingredients in a dish from across the kitchen. I read the reviews and was encouraged to try Marco's. Food reviews were great. The bad reviewers complained about mix ups and mistakes. The one reviewer included comments about how Marco's tried to make it right. So, I tried it. We ordered a small veggie pizza on thin crust with a Greek salad. It was delivered promptly, by a nice and cheerful young man. When I tried to tip him for delivery, he pointed out that we had already left a tip. Thanks for pointing that out! (But, the extra tip was for the driver.) Both the Pizza and salad were great. Fresh ingredients, nice thin crust. We will order again soon! read more

This place deserves less than the one star required to allow me to post a review. I ordered a pizza online at 6:07 pm Friday night (last night). Delivery time was approximately 40 minutes. At 7 pm I called to check on the status of my order. I was on hold for around 10 minutes. I hung up and called back. After several minutes a live person actually came on the line. She told me my order had been "lost in the system" and the kitchen staff was working on it now. I told her I expected my pizza to be free for my inconvenience and she said "I will tell my manager" and then hung up on me. HUNG UP ON ME!!! At 8:10 pm I still had no pizza so my wife and I went to another restaurant in Midlothian. At 8:45 pm I received a call from someone claiming to be the owner of Marco's. She said she was sorry for the "mix-up" and then said "I'll get my staff on this right away and I can have it out the door in fifteen minutes. Does that work for you?" I told her it most certainly did not work for me considering I had ordered the pizza THREE HOURS AGO!! Needless to say I never got my pizza. To Mary, who claimed to be the owner, there are many, many pizza places in Midlothian. Good customer service will set you apart from the others and keep your doors open. read more

Very friendly staff, super clean inside, pizza is good. I didn't order delivery but I used to work as a delivery driver in Midlothian, I really dislike people's attitudes around here. Food can be amazing but they'll give 1 star cause they had to wait a bit (understand midlothian is huge and some people live far away, we only have so many drivers). This place has delicious pizza. I tried the thick crust and would recommend it to everyone! If you're impatient, get carryout in general, no matter what restaurant you eat at. I hate seeing places like this get bad reviews because they just started out delivering! read more

This pizza is not great at all. It was rubbery and the hot wings were even worse. They were breaded and the bread was soggy. Also, every time you took a bite, you were inundated with the smell of vinegar. It was definitely a disappointment. The workers were nice, but it was just lacking in the food quality department. I was here to get an online order. Clearly it's a new location. The problem I have is with the person who seemed to be in charge. Janelle, (not sure if I spelled it right) This woman has to be one of the most abusive individuals I've seen in leadership. She outright degraded the kids back there trying to do their jobs. She told Zach "you can't even cut a pizza right! Look at the pictures! Just do something else if you can't even do that!" Then an elderly couple was asking about a promotional table in which her response was "I'm 30 minutes behind" then walked off with no answer. No wonder folks can't keep help these days. If your leadership is abusive and degrading, why would anyone want to deal with that? While I love the pizza here, I won't endorse an abusive leader. Her paycheck is dependent on customers. I'll go somewhere else. There were so many more ways she could've handle the situations I witnessed and those are just 2. There were several more degrading comments made to the 2 kids working there. Not good Marcos. Screen your people. Apparently she's not that great at HER job or she wouldn't have been 30 minutes behind and announcing it to your store. read more

I've been a customer of Marco's since the Midlothian store opened. Pretty much stuck in a rut, I order the same pizza and dessert, with few changes. The last time I ordered from Marcos, my favorite dessert was unavailable at the time of my on-line order. The delivery person (I'm ashamed I don't know his name) knew that my order was different, apologized & explained how the dessert had been sold out. Apparently, when the delivery person returned to the store, my dessert was back in stock. So, he was thoughtful enough to bring me a hot, fresh complementary order of my favorite dessert.
