Amazing!! Can't wait to return! Food was fresh and had the authentic homemade Italian flavor…read more Staff were kind, friendly and patient allowing us to look over the menu, explaining the ingredients and various dietary options. I wish I knew the gentleman's name who was taking care of us he was awesome! Checked on us frequently and provided excellent service all around. This location has indoor/outdoor seating options available. As well as booth and table style seating options. There's pizza by the slice ready if you so choose and if the flavor you want is not ready they will bake it fresh for you. Musical selection was amazing as well and made our dinning experience even better with artists like Erykah Badu, Sade playing in the background. I have nothing but positive feedback for this restaurant and cannot wait to come back!!

I'm giving this place 2 stars because I will always choose a local business over a chain restaurant…read moreand the ambience and service is always great, but I'd strong suggest changing up some things with the food: This review is long overdue. I live close to this place and would love for it to be my go to pizza place, but over the years this place has had consistently bad pizza The pasta my wife and I have tried is actually decent, but the pizza crust has had a cracker consistency, but not thin enough to be like a tavern style pizza - It doesn't resemble New York style pizza. The cheese/sauce is average at best. I've gone in to try it by the slice also tried sharing a whole pizza in person with some folks. I thought maybe I was crazy by how poor the quality of the pizza was when the reviews were actually in the four star range. The nail in the coffin for this place was when we decided to order pizza at the house. We ordered 2 large pizzas and no one could finish a slice because they were not good at all. I hate giving negative reviews to local businesses - I'd be glad to come back if the quality improves and give this place another shot.

Great pizza and fast service! Enjoyed the meat lover Hawaiian combo they made for me. Will be…read moreback!

Ok, so we walked in on a Sunday evening around 6:00. We were literally the only customers…read more We saw 3 employees who actually looked surprised to see us. They were very nice and told us to sit anywhere. A young man took our drink order. They didn't have any tea so we both ordered water. I wanted ice water. No ice. I said that was fine so we got room temperature water. We saw they had a gluten free crust which was great because gluten causes my husband's mouth to break out in HUGE ulcers. We decided to order a 10" gluten free Classic Italian Pizza but we asked could we substitute the ham on it with hamburger. That's when we knew we were in trouble. It was very clear at that point that they didn't speak very good English. We also ordered two house salads with NO OLIVES. Mine came out with no olives. My husband's had what appeared to be a whole jar full of olives. So many that he just gave up trying to get them out and asked if he could have one without olives. An olive lover would have really enjoyed that salad! One server took the salad back and after a while the other one brought a new one back. Both were very apologetic. I have to say that the lettuce in the salad was a little brown but it tasted fine so we ate it. At this point I was really curious as to what our pizza was going to be. The server brought it out and it looked very good. We asked for plates and it took two servers but they finally brought out some little plastic plates, which were fine. We realized right away that there was no way that crust was gluten free. We just let that go and decided to eat it anyway. It was delicious...but we never saw any hamburger on it. Oh well, like I said, it was delicious. The service would have been perfect if the guys understood English. They were so respectful and polite. There was definitely a language barrier and we had to keep asking for things. I don't think they understood any of the changes we asked for. It wasn't a terrible experience and the food was very good. The place was very clean but I didn't go to the restroom so I can't speak to that.

Yes, everything you've heard is true: it's in a strip mall. There's nowhere to sit inside. The food…read moreis incredibly good. Like, it's good enough that you *will* contemplate eating your order in your car before heading home. It's well worth the drive and it will live up to everything you've heard/read. It will. You absolutely need to patronize it. TdG had been on my radar for a minute but I'm not often in Hermitage* and I couldn't justify driving out of town for food when I have other options closer by. BUT I had to find out if the food was *just* that good. I'd read rave after rave. It's just pasta. Can it be that great? So, on a chilly late fall Saturday night I decided I needed to find out. I'd done my research so I knew the place was small. I knew I might need to play human tetris in the waiting area on a cold day. I knew what to order. But I also 'knew' that the 'say Yelp' phrase would offer a discount. The phrase was uttered but no discount came my way (which is the reason for the four stars instead of five). Lack of discount aside, everyone with whom I interacted was very polite and welcoming even despite the place being a madhouse of activity and orders. My food was ready in an appropriate amount of time and the bag had adequate weight/heft. The pleasant aroma filled the cold air as I walked to my car and surrounded me all the way home. I came home, poured a glass of wine, plated my food and... wow. This was/is phenomenal. I ordered the 4 cheese gnocchi and, without a doubt, one of the best gnocchi dishes I have had in life (and I used to be paid to eat**). I think I uttered the word 'perfect' between forkfuls. Each 'perfect' pillowy dumpling was lathered in a combo of mozzarella, asiago, gorgonzola, and pecorino. That alone would have been delicious but woven into the dish were ribbons of crispy prosciutto. Other.Worldy. It's getting cold. Sweater weather is here. Bathing suit season is months away. You're free to eat heaping plates of some of the best pasta you've ever had. *I came before they had a second location. **Among other things.

I think it's rather funny that everyone and their mom continues to make the location of the place…read moreseem scary. In short, writing that it is in a low-income area. And to those people, I ask, "Have you ever been to Antioch?" No, this place isn't scary or in a rough neighborhood. It's definitely not Brentwood, but it's safe to say you can leave your pitchforks and torches at home. It is, for lack of better words, located in a hole in the wall of a micro-tiny strip mall, next to a sports bar. Inside, it is sweet and cozy. In this cozy place, you will find the friendliest of staff members. To have an entire staff give their customers the utmost respect is one of the most challenging tasks of any business owner. So the fact that this owner was able to achieve such a difficult task is something to applaud. There is no board with an entire menu, but there are small pamphlets off to the side with the menu. I ordered the pepperoni pizza along with the meatballs as an appetizer. My friend and I sat outside, where they have outdoor seating and tables. That, I have to say, is the only downside to this place. The seating. No indoor seating, and with how ever-changing Middle Tennessee's weather is, you might have to drive it home or eat it in the car. But with humidity changing texture in a box or to-go box, it might take the freshness away from the experience. After the food was brought out to us, which is a plus and highly appreciated, we were ready to eat. I did have to run inside to grab some packets of crushed red pepper. You must ask for it, which, without hesitation, the man minding the wood stove gladly grabbed for me. Separating a slice of pizza from the others was a sight to see. What you typically want to see separating pizza. The ooey gooey cheese in entanglement. I took a bite and fell in love with the freshness. Every ingredient is fresh, and you don't feel that awful sloth feeling that a Pizza Hut pizza would leave you with. The pepperoni was to die for. Although the meatballs had a flavor that I wasn't too happy with, I knew they were good, even if my flavor profile didn't desire it much. The meatballs were incredibly soft, and the sauce they bathed in, with a sprinkle of ricotta cheese, was divine. My friend happily downed the entire box they sat in. This now will forever be one of my go-to pizza places. And yes, it's worth it to eat in your car, if need be.
