Great dense and chewy crust with a pleasant crunch around the edge, top notch toppings and a nice bright tomato sauce and the basil leaves give it an old world Italian flavor. We ordered a regular pepperoni pizza and the white Neapolitan style pizza. It wouldn't let me add pineapple to my pizza online, which was fine because it didn't need it, the pizza was so good! My boyfriend loved his pepperoni pizza and I also enjoyed my Neapolitan style white pizza. It had a great garlicky flavor and was crispy on the crust. Not only did the restaurant smell amazing from the baking pizzas, but it was also tastefully decorated for Christmastime and cozy. We were seated immediately, and our server was attentive and helpful, making us feel welcome and even offering suggestions on their best-selling pizzas. I ended up ordering the sausage pizza, and while the pizza as a whole was outstanding, the sauce was the best I have ever had. Whatever their sauce recipe is, it was unbelievable, and it will be difficult to top that particular sauce. The pizza was about 16" across and was greasy due to the pepperoni slices (which I like). I met Aldo, the original owner long ago so we have been dining here a long time. My friend Barb said her parents used to bring her to Aldo's at the holidays and her birthdays when she was younger.
