This is a brand new joint. The interior and exterior are bright and shiny. Pics of the place would be a waste. Now the nuts and bolts. This is a wonderful pie. It outshines the other local chains by quite a margin. The crust is a good platform for the fresh toppings. The bottom of the crust was nice and crispy, while the interior was light and chewy, but strong enough to hold. The sauce was light and tangy with a light hint of sweetness. Not a cane sugar sweet, but more of a vine ripened sweet. I have to find out what brand of tomatoes they use...for personal use, of course. The cheese is a three cheese blend, with a slightly nutty taste, a great chew, and good stretch...and my bad; I didn't segregate a pepperoni for review . Why only three stars if the groceries are so great? 1. This place is brand new. 2. Everyone one needs room to grow. 3. This is mainly a take out/delivery joint. 3 tables, 10 chairs. Will I be back? I ordered Pizza at 5:45 pm. It said it would be delivered at 6:38. At 7:15 I am sitting on hold waiting for the manager to pick up because was told it would be an other 20 minutes. That puts this pizza close to two hours after originally ordered. Also management continues to not be able to come the phone and I continue to hold. This is absolutely ridiculous. read more

I had the thin crust pizza, the cheese sticks, and my aunt had a large meatball sub. Our total was something RIDICULOUSLY cheap like 24 bucks. Ordered pizza from here a few times and it's been really good. Only thing is, make sure if you order something unusual (adding toppings to a pizza) you look at your pizza before leaving the store. Pizza is passable, by no far stretch of the imagination is this an authentic Italian pizza. The wings are very expensive and the majority of the menu is relatively unhealthy. Creating an account and ordering on the web allows you to get a 20% discount and when you spend $100 you get a $10 off coupon. That having been said this is a quick fix when kids want pizza or wings and you're feeling too lazy to cook. This is not a quality dining option. Really wish we had a better Pizzeria in this area. My husband eats lunch there a day or two each week. Loves it!!!! What happens at shift change? Live close, have never had a correct delivery in the evening. When I callback they say they're too busy to correct my order. While all the food is very delicious I don't think I enjoy giving my money to this company. The managers, staff, and owners are rude. The manager is always embarrassing the staff. First off the place in Haughton. The lady at the register never even looked at me when we walked through the door and when she did she acted like she was upset that someone was actually there. So I got a menu and went across the street to Johnny's pizza and ordered my pizza. A few weeks later I called for a delivery thinking that the lady may have been having a bad day the time I was there before. Well upon calling the lady was very rude. I will never do biz with them again. Very poor customer service. I don't see them lasting very long with their customer service. I watched undercover boss. I had never heard of it before that might. This marcos just opened up in shrevport area. When i walked in i. Noticed it was very clean. There is a tv in front. The cashier was nice. The owners are nice. We ordered a 16 inch veggie. It took awhile for us to get it. I know why. It is big and lots of stuff on it. It is very tastey. We are taking some home and ate some here. They have 4 tables. We talked to another table. They didn't eat pizza. They had club sandwhiches. They liked it. I will come here if i want pizza. Good, solid pizza. The pizza sauce is really good. I like the types of dough you can get....thin crust, extra thin and crispy. The cheesy bread is good. I prefer more cheese and less dough though. My husband and I love the thin crust pizza. We pick our own toppings so our pizza cost is a bit higher than a normal "one size fits all" pizza. Well worth it as the fresh ingredients are lovely. Wish they used raw mushrooms instead of canned but otherwise the toppings are so fresh. Also wish they offered a large thin crust pizza... which they don't. Will continue to order from Marcos. Oh how I love the subs. Finally a place that knows what bread is supposed to taste and feel like on a sub. I haven't tracked it down yet but asked did they make their own bread. Was told no they have it brought in from an outside source but do hand-make the Pizza dough. Both are fantastic. First I have only ordered delivery, it's always piping hot when it arrives. The drivers are friendly, smiling, prompt, and dang it's just nice when they seem happy to be serving you. Not like the drive thru places that I have found myself saying " thank you" to them instead of the other way around. No I made a promise if I'm not getting thanked for patronizing the business then I'm not going there. I'm tired of it, oops back to Marco's. I love the Philly. No it's not a Pats or Ginos so don't expect that. It is a good sub filled with sliced thin beef, mushrooms, cheeses, and mayo, all stuffed into a foot long superb bread. The bread is soft but not to soft. Has a great taste not found around here. It's not that bread that you can break a tooth on if you know what I mean. Wife has had the meatball and loves it. We tried the white pizza and yep just as good as we thought it would be. We got the original crust to try it out because I figured this is what made the franchise. Yep it's a franchise but you wouldn't know it. I looked it up and most are in the east. I will get the thin next time I order the white pizza. The white sauce is good and not to much garlic that you will be hitting the tums later. So now I have to branch out and try the Italian sub and a pepperoni pizza. Want to try the reg sauce to see if it's as good as everything else. Marco's has become my fav sub and pizza joint. They have a limited delivery area but it's not hard to get to and quick jaunt in the horseless carriage won't take you long from anywhere in Bossier or North Shreveport. To the guy who only gave them 3 stars, phttt! I understand room to grow but we need to keep businesses going in our area especially good ones. We are long time Johnnys Pizza fans so decided to go for the subs and salad tonight and WOW!! The bread was a fresh with a nice crust, I had the Steak and cheese and the cheese was oozing out of the side and I was seriously in love with it. My husband had the Italiano and again lots of stuffings, lovely tomatoes and peppers, ham and salami spilling out everywhere. Don't plan on wearing a white shirt with this sub. We also both had garden salads which were fresh greens with a ton of wonderful fresh chopped veggies. Couldn't think of anything I would change. Give it a try. Pizza next time. read more
