First Course: Creamy Potato Parmesan soup was the only course unaccompanied by a drink. It arrived in a tiny teacup that was really cute but without a spoon we were encouraged to sip the thick broth. It's fortunate the soup was so tasty. Second Course: Grilled Wings with Fig Bourbon Sour. My drink arrived first and was quick to disappear. I love Elijah Craig bourbon and combined with the housemade syrup and fig sour mix, it was outstanding. The grilled wings were delicious and the Calabrian chili baste gave them just enough spice. Third Course: Rigatoni with Rosemary Cream and Sausage with Brothers Bond Straight Bourbon. The bourbon was smooth, slightly spicy and sippable. The pasta sauce was bland Fourth Course: Delmonico Steak with Gorgonzola Walnut Butter paired with Uncle Nearest 1884 Small Batch Whiskey. Uncle Nearest is a smooth sip with a clean finish. The Delmonico steak was huge and a perfect (for me) medium rare. The creamed spinach was a sleeper and nearly stole the show.
