Walked in, the lobby was super kept up and clean. The front counter worker was extremely nice and presentable. And the food was sooooo good. The pizza was cheesy and delicious, the cheesy bread was good, the cinnamon bread was SO GOODA, and the wings were okay but I did not like the buffalo sauce because it was buttery. First of all. I will say the pizza has always been great. But who ever my wife talked to on the phone last night does not need to be there. I was not there when she called but she said he was rude and made her feel like she was stupid. we were sent a coupon and he told her she couldnt use it on our order. Nothing on coupon stated that. I would not recommend this place for any kind of customer service or help with ordering. I tried to place an order online for a sale version of pepperoni pizza but was given only full price options. Yet.....there was an ad on the first pop up page advertising large pepperoni pizza for $8.99! When I tried to call the franchise in Grovetown Ga. The fella who answered the phone could not even attempt to help me. He actually snickered when I asked what was on the meaty version of the bad overpriced pizza I was about to order....... yet I was was getting hungry and had family to feed..... this location is absolutely amazing! I have ordered here for years and have never spoken to one person who is not friendly, professional, and prompt. The delivers are also excellent. On Dec 29, 2023 I placed an order to be delivered. I was notified that my order had left the restaurant and on it's way. 40 minutes later I called Marco's to see where my order was and was told that the driver had lost her GPS signal but assured me it was on the way and would be delivered soon. They offered to refund me half the price of my order. After another 25 minutes the driver finally arrived. She had an attitude and said her phone died and that she didn't know where the address was because she had "never been here before". This is the same driver that delivered to us on our last order. The subs, pizzoli and pizza were all cold and the toppings on the pizza had slid around. I again called to complain and was told they would give me a full refund. It is now Feb 19 2024 and still no refund, not half, not full, not any. I have ordered from this location on many occasions with both delivery and pickups. I love Marco's products when they are fresh and prepared properly. But I will not be ordering from this Marco's again because of the attitude of the driver and not fulfilling the promise to give me a refund. Holy hell! I got one of these marketing brochures in the mail and decided to place an order over the phone. They did not have what I wanted but the staff recommended the pizza magnifico and I went for it. It was phenomenal! 2 kinds of pepperoni, 3-cheese blend, there is a garlicky taste to the bread, and really good tasting pizza sauce. I actually bought the same pizza 3 days later and it was great! It will not recognize information from their own emails or other promotional materials! It will not recognize, nor honor advertised promotions/discounts! It will not let you correspond with their 'headquarters' so you can bring this nightmare to their attention. If you are able to fight your way through their website to find a 'contact us' link you will be sent to the local store to place an order! They have a policy of enticing you to earn credits toward discounts then they cancel them out before you can use them! We ordered carry out - two pizzas and a salad. Husband came home with two pizzas no salad. So he had to make another round trip to Marcos to get the salad. Marcos didn't give us any refund. This review is for delivery and the actual pizza. The delivery time was average-- not any slower or faster than a place like dominos. It took about 35-40 minutes for my pizza to arrive after I placed my order. The pizza LOOKED amazing but the taste was not all that great unfortunately :/. I was really expecting it to be something special since it's a small business, but it was disappointing. Nothing stood out about the pepperoni or cheese, it was pretty bland. Yes, prices are rather high for a chain joint, but I would say quality beats your usual suspects (Pizza Hut, Dominoes, etc). If you want delivery, they are a solid choice. Eat in? Mellow Mushroom or Pizza Joint are still the go-to choices. I have eaten from Marcos about five times. The quality is hit or miss but I have had good luck with simple orders like sausage and pepperoni, or their specialty white pizza. Their crust toppers certainly reduce the likeliness of bland, leftover crust. My boys loved it the last time we ordered a two-topping pie, cheesy bread, and 2-liter soda. I never saw pizza disappear so fast.. Good thing everyone else was eating out. We woukd have spent close to $100 otherwise! Usually I only bother with bad reviews because I would hate consumers to repeat my dreadful experiences but our local Marcos has stepped up their game. The pizza gets better and better, and they are finally offering some real deals via e-mail and Facebook. Not To Manager: Give Damaris a raise. For instance, I just ordered a specialty pizza tonight and had a coupon for free cheesy bread. Ordered a to go pizza #349 on 2/10/15. Haven't had pizza in months and it was a special treat. I ordered pepperoni with ranch, as we were out at the house. Family member went to go pick up the pizza. Came back. No ranch in box, despite it clearly being marked on the receipt. I called to ask them to send some over, as I didn't want to spend 15-20 minutes to go to the grocery store letting my pizza get cold while everyone ate without me. The response was underwhelming, saying there would be a $2.50 delivery charge and that they didn't charge me for the ranch because it was "free." Unwilling to waive a delivery charge after making a mistake. Not excusable. What was the profit on the pizza? Pizzas don't cost $16 to make, especially when picked up. I don't eat pizza without ranch, which is why I ordered it. Pizza was medicore to crappy. Maybe this is because there was no ranch. Maybe this was because the pepperoni was sparse and the slices cut with drastic irregularity. For the money it was not worth a purchase over Papa Johns. Would not recommend to anyone who cares where their hard earned money goes. This franchise is not deserving. I should have ordered from Mellow Mushroom. Or anyone but these guys. This was by far one of the absolute worst experiences I have ever had with a pizza company. My husband and I were planning on having a pizza and movie date night at home, and unfortunately we went hungry. We ordered a medium pepperoni pizza and an antipasto salad. Initially, we were promised 75 minutes until delivery. Given that it is Master's week, I could understand that. My promised time consistently kept getting bumped- and after two hours, we didn't have anything. I called two different times, and after the first 75 minutes, I was told the pizza was on it's way. An hour after that, I was informed it has just left. Needless to say, we got $10 back, no pizza, and will not be giving our business back to Marco's. Been on a Marcos kick lately. My boyfriend and I, just about every weekend order a cheese pizza with white sauce, and it's definitely the BEST pizza I have ever had. We easily clear the whole thing... To the point we are so full but it's so good we can't stop eating it! It seems like it gets better every time. I have been ordering from this pizzeria since I moved here from NY 6 months ago. I am happy to find a great tasting pizza outside of papa john's-pizza hut- dominos.. which I don't really care for. I really enjoy the flavor of the pizza at Marcos and the price is very affordable. They also go by a point system when you reach 100 points you get $10 off your following order. I always look up a coupon and there is always a great deal. I just tried the cheesy bread a few days ago because they mailed me a coupon for a free order of cheesy bread with the purchase of a medium or large pizza. It was delicious and flavorful. Better than papa johns cheesy bread. It had a garlic parmesan flavor to it. We usually do a cheese pie or pepperoni (my kids aren't too adventurous) I have tried the white pie and that was very tasty. If you are a family with a couple of small kids I recommend this place because it is tasty and affordable. Pizza can be so dang expensive. I will continue to order from Marcos. read more

This place was recommended via front desk clerk from hotel nearby. We came about 1 hour before closing, so I wasn't sure about this place as my party and I pulled up to the empty looking store. Upon being greeted nicely prior to ordering, I felt alot better. Staff used gloves while making salad and washed hands before preparing my meatball and tomato pizza. The aroma of pizza was plesant, and looked very appealing. It was even more gratifying eatting the soft, fresh, cheesy goodness! Thank you for fast, friendly service. We usually order Papa John's for delivery, but we wanted to try something different last night. Ordered online. We got: 1 large The Works, 1 large chicken and green pepper with white sauce. Garlic butter crust on both. Was about $30 dollars, took about 40 minutes to arrive. The verdict? Delicious! The best pizza I've had in a while. Their prices are a bit higher than some of the other chains, but the ingredients are definitely better. It even tasted good reheated for breakfast this morning. My pizza was delivered to the wrong address. Trevor the manager on duty would not handle the situation and blamed me for the mix up and the driver not texting or calling like they were supposed to. I called Tim the general manager to complain, and he told me he wouldn't help me because I was being discriminatory against his employee. While I was talking to Trevor, a black man, I said the n-word, a slang term used in black culture. I explained that using that word was not discriminatory as I am black myself. Tim, a white man, actually said that me using the word was the same as him using the word towards me. I can't believe a white man would actually tell me, a black woman, that he and I using the n word was the same. Immediately I felt discrimination. White people have used the n-word to degrade and oppress black people for decades. I can't believe Tim was trying to justify his employee's actions and the refusal of my refund, because I used a word which is a slang term in MY culture. I am flabbergasted that the situation still has not been handled and the way Tim disrespected me by trying to tell me about a word that black people use amongst each other to desensitize the meaning and feelings it has brought us for decades is very unsettling. I will be taking this up with to the Pizza Guys LLC franchise owners as well as Marco's corporate.
