When she realized it wasn't, she checked the screen and asked, "Was it a phone order?" Nope! I told her I stood right there in line and ordered in person, and I had already watched several people who came in after me get their smoothies. She then looked in the freezer, pulled out ONE smoothie and said, "They had you as a phone order." Now I'm even more irritated because I ordered TWO smoothies. I told her I was supposed to have two, so she opened the freezer again and pulled out my second smoothie. So both of my smoothies had apparently just been sitting in the freezer while I was standing there waiting for my name to be called. I know the mistake wasn't necessarily the young lady's fault, but what bothered me even more was that there was no apology. Not even a simple, "Sorry about the mix-up." Moving into the neighborhood, I was genuinely excited about having this place nearby and supporting the establishment. Unfortunately, after today's experience, I don't think I'll be back. Maybe reconsider asking for a phone number when someone is physically standing in the store ordering, or have a clearer system for distinguishing in-store orders from phone orders. Because waiting patiently while your smoothies are sitting in a freezer the entire time is definitely frustrating.
