This time I ordered through Postmates - birria OG box with avocado and a Pollo Asado taco. Order arrived and once again I was disappointed. My box was missing the avocado I paid extra for, and I received a carne asada taco instead of the pollo asado taco I ordered. The carne asada was not good - tough & not much flavor. The birria was good, would've been better with the avocado I ordered. I did receive my consommé this time (see prior review). I contacted Postmates since that's the usual protocol in these situations. Their customer service was not helpful at all, so I reached out directly to the restaurant. They apologized but offered no other solution except to direct me back to Postmates. The whole ordeal left me frustrated & very hesitant to give this restaurant another chance. Ultimately, it was the restaurant that messed up my order, not Postmates. Fun fact #1: my courier messaged me asking what meats I ordered. I told him birria for the box and chicken for the separate taco. The restaurant still didn't get it right. Fun fact #2: in my prior review, they forgot to put my consommé in the bag. No problem, I remembered how they roll from years ago. I took my happy butt home to wait. I had time because my special needs son had to be at his board and care by 9 or he gets locked out. I was happy I could treat my family. 814 pm rolls around. No call from WW. I hurriedly take my son and drive over there. After a lot of knocking and raising my voice to get attention, I am told my order isnt ready yet. I no longer can afford to wait. If my son isnt across town by 9, he gets locked out. I ask for a refund. He hands me a copy of the receipt I got a couple of hours before. I tell him that it is 2026. This will not suffice. You've already burned me. I want the receipt that shows I was fully refunded. Another Dude comes out from back and after several seconds, produces the right paperwork. I speed across town and get to my son's home by 847pm. I didn't even have time to stop and grab something for him. I will NEVER BLESS this place with my presence again. There are several amazing Black owned taco spots that don't put you through BS.
