They are no longer involved - how unfortunate - they assured me that they would love to help me - however their hands are tied because now I was dealing with Bodewell. Dunrite was no longer responsible for the product they sold to me. This would have been so much easier if they had told me that when I was deciding whether to have it replaced or just try fixing it. Last time it was a five week saga to get it fixed so this time my wife said call Dun Rite for a new one because all her friends swear by them. Over the phone salesman Lon Shomer gave me some options and recommended a couple of manufacturers. I came in and settled on Kitchenaid DW because Lon recommended it and it matches our dishwasher (with which my POS Samsung Refrigerator was purchased but also crapped out before five year warranty expired. Insurance company's repair guys came three times and never fixed the DW and pronounced it unfixable. I asked insurer to replace but they refused saying it was now past warranty expiration although the problem occurred before expiration and was never fixed! I learned that many repair guys will not even make a repair call on Samsung appliances. TVs and cell phones good, kitchen and laundry, fuhgataboutit! Anyway, Lon Shomer was a pleasure to work with and I highly recommend. Dun Rite's delivery guys were fantastic- came when they were supposed to, carted the fridge up some steps, removed and replaced door hardware to get the 36 inch wide fridge thru, connected the ice maker water line, set up the shelves, cleaned up afterwards and hauled the old fridge to the dump. They worked fast and left no scars! I asked if they sold them to repair guys and they said ... wait for this..."not Samsung".

I have been dealing with this every day for four weeks. They are not sure what is wrong, yet they keep telling me the parts are back ordered. Still have no resolve. Customer service and the service center have not been helpful at all. Adding insult to injury, they billed me for a double oven I did not purchase. I am not sure what to do next. I had an absolutely terrible experience with Haggis Appliance Repair…read more From the beginning, they misdiagnosed the issue with my wine cooler and nearly cost me thousands of dollars in unnecessary repairs. Communication was awful they were unresponsive for days at a time and never answered their phone. They also showed up an hour before the scheduled appointment time without calling ahead and started pounding on my door. When I explained that this was not appropriate because I have a reactive dog, instead of showing any empathy or taking accountability, they blamed me for having an "uncontrollable dog." The husband was arrogant and acted as though he didn't need anyone's business. In fact, he actually told me this on a recorded call. The wife was incredibly rude and unpleasant to deal with. They were in and out in about 15 minutes, did very little investigation, and didn't even move the wine cooler to properly assess the problem. I had explained it wasn't ideal for me to lose two days of pay and take off work, because they wanted to come back a second time. The wife whose name I have, but I will refrain from mentioning didn't property introduce herself. She would only communicate via text message and said she was "the office". They had my very sick father drive an hour to my house to search for an eight-year-old receipt for a warranty claim, only for it to turn out that the repair had been misdiagnosed and wasn't even covered under warranty. So it was completely pointless. They insisted on a work order, which is why we had to find the receipt. Throughout the entire ordeal, they never once apologized for the inconvenience, wasted time, or additional expense they caused. Took no accountability. When I expressed frustration about the situation, they were dismissive and told me to find someone else. They also insisted that most customers are happy when they arrive an hour before a scheduled appointment. They were disgustingly disrespectful. They also failed to provide a report or receipt when I requested one, which only added to the frustration and lack of professionalism throughout the experience. Thankfully, I then worked with Joe from JP precision appliance, and the difference was night and day. Joe was responsive, kind, polite, knowledgeable, and incredibly thorough. He immediately moved the wine cooler, properly diagnosed the issue, explained everything clearly, and fixed the problem efficiently. He was friendly, honest, and prepared, and he saved me from spending money on unnecessary repairs. It was a $685 fix , they told me it would be thousands. He fixed it the same day, they told me it would take time for parts to come in. I found out after using them that a multitude of other people had poor experiences as well I would strongly recommend avoiding haggis and instead working with someone like Joe, who understands customer service, professionalism, and how to properly diagnose and repair appliances.
