We also find their pricing to be incredibly fair compared to many other restaurants that have jacked up the food and beverage prices! A community minded owner that continuously gives back to the community thru charitable donations and supporting local groups. Food is standard bar food, and they do it well. Hilights are the wings, pickle spears, pizza, Friday all you can eat fish and chips and the excellent steak sandwich. $16.95 will get you a side, garlic toast and a decent cut of cow that is easy to cut and perfectly cooked all the time. The owner is starting to bring in craft beers on tap, only place in Devon that is doing so, service is always great, fast, and friendly. I've been very disappointed by Marci's in the past due to inconsistent food and horribly slow service. However, I was delightfully surprised today. The service was super on all accounts. The food was quite good and arrived hot! Why only 3 stars? The food is solid, but they still need to find some way of distinguishing themselves from all the other burger and pizza joints out there. read more

Big sign out front has a 2 for $12.99 donair special. So I call them up and order 2 donairs, they say 20 mins. I show up, they charge us $25. The reply to this is going to be something ridiculous like not specifying a regular or a large or some miscommunication somewhere, but the fact is, it's pretty common sense to assume someone is calling to order the promotion you're advertising, and if not sure, double checking the order. It was just a rude and unnecessary thing to do. Also, the donair meat was like the deli sandwich of donair meat, like not the good stuff. And the pita was extremely chewy, it was hard to get through. All around won't go back and can't recommend either. read more

I went to Devon to watch a band play in Marci's last weekend. There were a lot of us and we took over the booths up the back of the room. The service was great dealing with so many people so after ordering a few beers we decided to share wings, Brushetta and onion rings. The wings were really good especially the salt and pepper ones. The Brushetta was topped with feta and served on flat bread, which was a nice version of the classic appetizer. The onion rings are advertised as a derrick of onion rings. I was expecting a stack a mile high but they just came spread out on a plate. So that was a little disappointing. The food was just alright but there was a lot of it! The service was great and the food was decent pub grub. I wouldn't travel to Devon to try this place but if I find myself there again I'd probably go back. They kept a cake in the kitchen for a friends birthday and brought it out so we could present it on stage which was cool of them. The stage is decent and the sound was good too. The guy doing their audio was awesome. It was nice to have live music while hanging with friends and enjoying a bite to eat. read more

Working in Devon, I end up hearing a lot about local restaurants before I eat at them. I hadn't gotten any good reviews of Marci's before going there for lunch, and unfortunately I have to agree with my co-workers. It appeared that only one staff member was working, so our lunch was close to an hour and a half. I was there with a larger group and we ordered off a set menu of three items (lasagna, spaghetti or steak). Despite the very limited number of choices, our waitress returned to our table multiple times to confirm orders and still didn't get all of them correct. I got the steak and it was brutal. I ordered well done, and the meat was thin, dry and charred. It was like eating burnt shoe leather. Part way through eating I took a bite that was nothing but charcoal that crumbled in my mouth and I didn't eat any more. Looking around the table, the people who ordered medium or medium-rare steaks had larger thick cuts of meat, whereas the well done steaks were approximately a centimeter thick. The fries accompanying the steak were awesome, but that wasn't enough to salvage the meal for me. Never again. read more

I really don't have too much to say. We went here for a lunch at work. Apparently they have good food, but I wouldn't know. We arrived, no one at the front to greet you, so we found a table and sat down. There were 8 of us. After approximately 10 minutes we received menus and all ordered lemon water. We waiting another 5 minutes when the waitress brought us the waters and then left us again, perhaps thinking we wouldn't be ready to order, but we weren't asked. Being that we were on a work lunch, we had no time to waste so waiting this long wasn't an option. After being there almost 20 minutes with no one taking our order we decided to leave and head to another restaurant. Very disappointing as I was looking to try something new. read more

Ordered a pizza from Marci's and it was the first time I had to throw it away. The crust was cardboard and tasted like they cooked it from a frozen state. Marci's takes no pride in their food and makes Boston Pizza look like fine dining. read more

Dinner out with my mom and sisters turned out to be a great time. Marci's has been a staple in Devon for a few years now, and it seems to be doing just fine. The bruschetta is really tasty and super loaded with feta cheese (who doesn't love feta!) The portion sizes are quite large, so either come hungry, or take some home. I wish they had one or two more serving staff, as the service is quite slow when it's busy but other than that, not too bad of a place to eat. read more

Marci's is a great restaurant. The service is great and the atmosphere is relaxed and welcoming. Small towns don't have many options for sports bar style restaurants, Devon is lucky to have a gem like this so you don't have to go to Boston pizza for a nice evening out. read more

I was thrilled with the super customer service. I am from out of province and wanted to have lunch delivered to my brother (who is a local) for his birthday. I called and spoke with the owner himself and explained that it was my brother's birthday. Ordered a medium pizza, 1lb wings and a piece of chocolate cake. All was delivered on time by the owner himself and he even added a little something extra at no charge because it was my brother's birthday.
