Now there are maybe a couple left as the interest in audiophile equipment is fading. I unqualifiedly recommend working with Lance at Forefront Audio. He is more knowledgeable and helpful than the competition. Don't be fooled by the small storefront. He handles a large array of equipment and will help you find the best solution to your audio needs. Its also worth noting that his familiarity with vintage audiophile systems (like mine) is second none.

Unfortunately, over the course of one month of back-and-forth questions and answers to and from the owners and/or representatives of Vinyl Sound, this is most definitely a one-star review. Highly surprising from a hi-fi/audiophile retailer, as I've only had one other negative experience in my entire life from a different retailer. My requests were seemingly simple: 1) bearing oil for my Transrotor ZET 3.1 turntable; 2) replacement belts for the turntable, and; 3) a request regarding the possibility of making a cover for my turntable. Over a 29-day period, here is the breakdown, in number of days, of their response times to my various e-mail requests: 1, 5, 8, 0, 0, and finally, after waiting 14 days for a reply, I sent a final e-mail requesting an update but have yet to receive an answer. It's now 22 days without a reply at the time of this review. There are many other dealers to choose from. Select another that's not Vinyl Sound and likely be much more satisfied.

I recently purchased my dream amplifier: an Accuphase P-4600. Retail is approx. $14,000. Daniel took his time and answered my barrage of redundant questions for a few weeks before I finally relented and pulled the trigger. Once the amp arrived, he's continued to help me with tremendous customer support. I've dealt with the best of the best in audiophile sellers: Kevin @ Upscale Audio, Bes @ MOFI (who is a champion), Wally @ Underwood HIFI (Maui), Michael Liang @ Woo Audio and more. Daniel is a star that all of you need to experience the next time you are ready to purchase gear. Not only is he one of the chosen few approved to be an Accuphase dealer in the US/Canada, his inventory of other high-end gear is staggering. You owe it to yourself to reach out to him. This isn't a paid political announcement. I am just a very happy customer. I wish all my purchase experiences could be as simple and easy as Daniel made it for me.
