Worst manager I have ever had to deal with. I was shopping at the Imperial Beach location and I had a question about the availability of an item I had bought previously. The employee didnt have an answer so they directed me to their manager Sean. I have never been met with so much attitude and robotic speech patterns in my life by a manager for simply asking a question. He was very short with me and acted agitated that I didnt know how sporadic their delivery system was. I was fine with the item not being in stock, but as I've seen from other yelp reviews as well this manager does not know how to talk to people or treat people right. I've been going to March and Ash for a minimum of 3 years. I live north county Escondido. I went to March and ash in imperial beach I went inside to go buy flower. They showed me some jars.. I opened one of the jars and tried to smell the flower and come to find out that location doesn't have smell samples so the manger lost his mind talking to me aggressively. First off buddy.. I've never been to a March and ash that doesn't allow you to smell their jars. Was a honest mistake. After I finally bought flower and walked out and got into my car.. They give you a quick greeting ,but you can tell they still mean business and take their job very seriously. Walking in, the people behind the register are extremely friendly and helpful with their check in. This March and Ash is 18+ so I made sure to get my medicinal marijuana card through a service they recommend which gave me $30 off! They also assure you of several discounts they have going on. Once you go into the actual store with all the selections, the employees are extremely friendly and helpful! The store has such a wide variety of options I felt like a child in Willy Wonka's chocolate factory! Lastly, the prices and deals were fantastic! I couldn't get enough honestly. Went about a week ago.. the woman who helped me was very nice and tried to get me what I wanted.. in the end I bought a large jar of something I never tried before and it's is awful.. worst high ever to be honest.. just because she said it was the best and it sold out so quick and all they had left was the large jar.. We were greeted at the door promptly by a friendly desk agent. She asked if it was my first time, then offered me a 30% discount for my first visit. She explained the discount thoroughly. If the product was buy one get one for a1$ or a discount that wasn't a percentage they would be included in the 30% off. If the products already were a percentage off like 20% off or 40%... the extra discount didn't apply. I walked around the store looking at products like I was in a grocery store, picking up items and looking at them without the hassle of asking a budtender each and every item. The butenders were very helpful with questions yet let me shop by myself without hovering over me. This place looks expensive from the outside almost intimidating. But once you step inside the friendly staff greeting you and the actual value they have there really changes your mind. I've been to several around San Diego and I feel like this location is consistently the friendliest, and of course I love that you have the option to look at the huge selection of products yourself vs. having to ask the budtender to grab it from behind the counter, it makes the shopping experience feel more personal. I can't say that they have the cheapest prices of everywhere i've been, but i've seen consistent quality in the flower & preroll brands that they stock. read more

I was a customer here. March and Ash open all of 2/3 months and chasing clientele away. This dispensary is a stone throw away from my home, and has become a part of my dog walking path on occasion. This business is opposed to this and sends staff (6 today) and security out when I walk through parking lot or even on public sidewalk. The other day one of the staff chased me down the street to tell me not to walk my dog on their property. My dog is leashed and I clean up after him. Blows my mind how a business like this can make such poor choices in community relations. Manager does not allow restroom access even to paying customers despite AB1632, a passed California bill requiring businesses to allow certain people to use the restroom, even if it is an employee restroom (but this restroom is for customers and clearly accessible from the lobby). I'm seeing a lot of bad reviews here. I come here since I live across the street, it's super convenient for me. Anytime I come in the people working here are very professional and attentive. Staff is friendly. I have not had an issue with any products because I don't buy vape pens and I only get prerolls or edibles. I have been going to the location on telegraph and Hst and the service is always amazing. But when I place an order it places it from the imperial beach location. I have had a few issues with the way they handle their errors. I placed an order once and they couldn't apply the promotion discount, and they said they couldn't help me and needed to pay the full price when they were running a special and had system issues. Now today I placed an order cause the promotion was 25% off everything. I ordered a park and some concentrates and the sale was processed. Got a text stating my items were on the way. 20 min before they should arrive I get a call and the young lady stated that puff o wasn't included in their promotion. I told her that the order was processed. She told me that it stated that those items are not included gave me attitude and said she could t help me. Seems like their customer service is horrible. My introduction to March and ash. I called to order delivery and was put on hold for 20 minutes. No one ever answered the phone. So I called back and pressed the "speak with a representative" option. I asked if there was delivery still going on and was told yes... to go and make my account on their website and place my order. I do this. I get everything set up and send them my order at 8:20 p.m. I then get a call 10 minutes later stating, Oh.... so sorry, we don't have any delivery this evening after all. I am a lifetime resident of Imperial Beach (IB), been a patron of M&A since they opened. Before the opened I was driving to GH (Chula Vista) for flower, so when M&A opened, I thought great save time, however. Today was the worst, Budtenders looked right at me and said nothing (NO acknowledgement at all), they (all Budtenders) knew I was there but chose to ignore me anyway, patrons coming in after me were tended to first, I was standing at the cases next to the flower...... I am a patient man, but this took the cake, after 15 minutes of being ignored, I had to raise my voice to get service. Very upset with M&A Budtenders they really need more training (BT's even if your busy acknowledge people). Customer service has been going downhill for a while now. I'll leave with one statement for any business to live by especially in IB, "It is in your ultimate best interest to take care of those who take care of you."
