this place reminded me why I never come here I was right next store so figured why not. Lucky me, they were having a 30% off sale for select brands. I told the guy (Dominick E) that I wanted products that were with the 30% off deal. He suggests me an edible and vape and we go to pay. He gives me the total and I pay. Once I get home, I look at the receipt and notice 30% discount was applied. I called to ask and turns out he sold me products not apart of the 30% discount pretty annoying as I was very clear....like who doesn't love a discount plus this place is CRAZY EXPENSIVE read more

Worst manager I have ever had to deal with. I was shopping at the Imperial Beach location and I had a question about the availability of an item I had bought previously. The employee didnt have an answer so they directed me to their manager Sean. I have never been met with so much attitude and robotic speech patterns in my life by a manager for simply asking a question. He was very short with me and acted agitated that I didnt know how sporadic their delivery system was. I was fine with the item not being in stock, but as I've seen from other yelp reviews as well this manager does not know how to talk to people or treat people right. Everyone else at the shop is always great, I almost feel bad leaving 1 star, but Seans behavior was unacceptable. read more

I've been going to March and Ash for a minimum of 3 years. I live north county Escondido. I went to March and ash in imperial beach I went inside to go buy flower. They showed me some jars.. I opened one of the jars and tried to smell the flower and come to find out that location doesn't have smell samples so the manger lost his mind talking to me aggressively. First off buddy.. I've never been to a March and ash that doesn't allow you to smell their jars. Was a honest mistake. After I finally bought flower and walked out and got into my car.. I lit up a joint in my own vehicle as driving off and.. when the next day I went to another march and ash.. they said I was banned from all locations in their system.. this is none sense they gotta fix this or I'm go fix his teeth that were crooked read more

I was able to get a $10 off discount. The service was friendly, quick, and efficient! They had the selection I was looking for so I was in and out. read more

Where do I even begin!!! This was my first time ever in a March and Ash and definitely not my last! Firstly, there's security at the front entrance and they are very kind. They give you a quick greeting ,but you can tell they still mean business and take their job very seriously. Walking in, the people behind the register are extremely friendly and helpful with their check in. This March and Ash is 18+ so I made sure to get my medicinal marijuana card through a service they recommend which gave me $30 off! They also assure you of several discounts they have going on. Once you go into the actual store with all the selections, the employees are extremely friendly and helpful! The store has such a wide variety of options I felt like a child in Willy Wonka's chocolate factory! Lastly, the prices and deals were fantastic! I couldn't get enough honestly. This is the best location to come to! read more

Always feel like I get a really good deal here. The employees don't bother you a ton and I like to come in for the tax free Tuesdays. The store is really nice inside and well maintained. read more

Went about a week ago.. the woman who helped me was very nice and tried to get me what I wanted.. in the end I bought a large jar of something I never tried before and it's is awful.. worst high ever to be honest.. just because she said it was the best and it sold out so quick and all they had left was the large jar.. I learned my lesson.. only buy from places that actually stock good product and never in a large quantity of something I hate! Never again March & Ash! 2 stars was because she was very nice.. but really that was just sales and she did her job. So sad they have now lost another customer :( read more

Service was pleasant But recommendation to the most expensive oz. & yet PACIFIC STONE STARBERRY COUGH SATIVA is a BIG 0. No effects no flavor just a waste of money. I really want to trust the people at these dispenseries but way to many times talked into expensive upgrades. Now at home the reviews for this company are not very good (PACIFIC STONE) I may just mow a lawn next time I want to get something that will help. Side note it was horrible to read how the City of Imperial Beach RAPED MARCH & ASH to be there. read more

This place sucks so bad. @Cannabist San Diego please put a store in IB so we don't have to drive to PB and so we don't have to buy from this horrid place. Service is embarrassing!!! Zero stars read more

Would leave zero starts if I could, I always shop here and never have an issue the last 2 cartridges I've purchased have been old and don't work properly. I'm constantly having to go back and it's up to the managers decision whether or not I get a refund on a product that clearly doesn't work. Not worth the time or value to shop here. read more

WOW !!! You can wow your customers two different ways ... wow that was great or wow that was horrible.. And March & Ash WOWED ME in a great way !! We were greeted at the door promptly by a friendly desk agent. She asked if it was my first time, then offered me a 30% discount for my first visit. She explained the discount thoroughly. If the product was buy one get one for a1$ or a discount that wasn't a percentage they would be included in the 30% off. If the products already were a percentage off like 20% off or 40%... the extra discount didn't apply. I walked around the store looking at products like I was in a grocery store, picking up items and looking at them without the hassle of asking a budtender each and every item. The butenders were very helpful with questions yet let me shop by myself without hovering over me. This place looks expensive from the outside almost intimidating. But once you step inside the friendly staff greeting you and the actual value they have there really changes your mind. So many levels of pricing from very affordable to very top shelf, whatever you're looking for .. they probably have it I've been back 4 times now and I will be back again read more

I've been here twice now and was greeted at the door. the staff was friendly and helpful both times . Great selection with descent prices. They also have different specials running through out the week. read more

I love this March & Ash!! I've been to several around San Diego and I feel like this location is consistently the friendliest, and of course I love that you have the option to look at the huge selection of products yourself vs. having to ask the budtender to grab it from behind the counter, it makes the shopping experience feel more personal. I can't say that they have the cheapest prices of everywhere i've been, but i've seen consistent quality in the flower & preroll brands that they stock. read more

I called ahead to check availability of a certain product before I drove all the way there. Guy on the phone assured me they had multiple in stock at their location. Says they close at 10pm yet doors are shut an can't enter at 950pm? Come on guys. Please update your actual hours.

I was a customer here. March and Ash open all of 2/3 months and chasing clientele away. This dispensary is a stone throw away from my home, and has become a part of my dog walking path on occasion. This business is opposed to this and sends staff (6 today) and security out when I walk through parking lot or even on public sidewalk. The other day one of the staff chased me down the street to tell me not to walk my dog on their property. My dog is leashed and I clean up after him. Blows my mind how a business like this can make such poor choices in community relations. So now when I'm across the street at the dog friendly bar I will be talking trash on March and Ash! read more

I been from the top of California to now the very bottom south, I did not have to many expectations after a visit to another local store, but I need to say the tender that helped me out really did me the right way today on my first ever visit. Got some real good flower and thats what I was after, I know I got something else and another free something but I forget what it was right now. Anyways, all good here and cant wait to pass by again. read more

I don't shop here that much. I only go here for items to help me fall asleep. They have a wide selection of gummies and mints and everything in between. But this review is for the security guard R.J.. He's always smiling, He is very polite and does his job efficiently. He does an excellent job by making you feel safe. He follows the protocols that have been placed and he follows through with his duties He's always smiling and he is always so nice and respectful. He is an asset and so much more to this company. Thank You R.J. read more

Horrible service! I just don't understand how you can work with weed and be in a bad mood. Most of the staff are rood, lazy and don't know how to help. Online customer service is useless, no help whatsoever and i was talked to as if i was stupid. I hate going to the ib location but is the nearest to me. read more

Make sure you pick your own stuff, all the bud tenders are nice but they try and sell you the oldest worst crap. And another thing make sure you pick the right weed and leave with the right weed because I picked two flowers only to notice when I arrived home one of them was not the flower I chose but it was too late the stuff was still sealed in the bag I only opened it a little but the manager wouldn't exchange it for me even though I was there nearly 2 min earlier, don't come here hopefully they go out of business this place sucks. read more

Great spot to pick up. Great staff! My def first choice when I am in imperial beach. Very chill environment.

I'm seeing a lot of bad reviews here. I come here since I live across the street, it's super convenient for me. Anytime I come in the people working here are very professional and attentive. Staff is friendly. I have not had an issue with any products because I don't buy vape pens and I only get prerolls or edibles. Service has been efficient each time I've shopped here, I have no complaints about anything. I do wish they had more dog friendly stuff cause my little stinker has way too much energy. But they're still new and that's ok! I'm sure inventory will get better over time (: read more

Manager does not allow restroom access even to paying customers despite AB1632, a passed California bill requiring businesses to allow certain people to use the restroom, even if it is an employee restroom (but this restroom is for customers and clearly accessible from the lobby). They should incur the financial penalty of this disallowance imo. read more

Such a shame. All the money put into this place and the reputation they choose to carry. There's no room for bad business in IB. I walked in here to take advantage of the Wednesday early bird special for once, made it in the store before 10 but because only one girl was working behind the counter, and the other one decided to be straightening up, while two more people waited to get checked in, I made it in at 10 and I asked the guy at the counter to check me out with the one thing I came to get it. He said it had to be before 10 when it was exactly 10. I asked him to ask a manager, he went to the back, and said he did, and that the manager said no. How pathetic. Your greed just lost you a customer, any further referrals, and a lot of money. Over a BS discount. Merry Christmas, ya filthy animal read more

closes before ten don't waste your time coming here they need to update their hours smh

I have been going to the location on telegraph and Hst and the service is always amazing. But when I place an order it places it from the imperial beach location. I have had a few issues with the way they handle their errors. I placed an order once and they couldn't apply the promotion discount, and they said they couldn't help me and needed to pay the full price when they were running a special and had system issues. Now today I placed an order cause the promotion was 25% off everything. I ordered a park and some concentrates and the sale was processed. Got a text stating my items were on the way. 20 min before they should arrive I get a call and the young lady stated that puff o wasn't included in their promotion. I told her that the order was processed. She told me that it stated that those items are not included gave me attitude and said she could t help me. Seems like their customer service is horrible. I own a business and if my system creates an error I will grant that discount since it was an issue in my end. Employee lack training on how to problem solve. read more

Most of their flower is stale, and not good. For the price, it should at least not resemble dried hay. Some of the folks working there are okay. Others are pretty much worthless. If you're coming to work stoned out of your mind, at least be able to have a conversation with someone. And know the strains. Stale flower and pre rolls, overpriced. I live down the block, and most of their employees will take every available spot. Customers throw their trash on the ground as well. Don't bother read more

They gave me flower with expiration date on it and tried to cover it up. The previous date said 01-07-2021 and the new sticker on top said 01-07-2022. No wonder 14g was $50. FRAUDS read more

My introduction to March and ash. I called to order delivery and was put on hold for 20 minutes. No one ever answered the phone. So I called back and pressed the "speak with a representative" option. I asked if there was delivery still going on and was told yes... to go and make my account on their website and place my order. I do this. I get everything set up and send them my order at 8:20 p.m. I then get a call 10 minutes later stating, Oh.... so sorry, we don't have any delivery this evening after all. Being 8:40 p.m. I asked if I could come in and pick it up (I live 4 minutes away. They said there store hours close at 9:00pm, but they actually lock the doors at 8:45pm?! What the actual f***? Used to love going here since this location opened. Bought a vape battery that would not charge and tried to return or exchange it. The manager would not do either. I am a lifetime resident of Imperial Beach (IB), been a patron of M&A since they opened. Before the opened I was driving to GH (Chula Vista) for flower, so when M&A opened, I thought great save time, however. Today was the worst, Budtenders looked right at me and said nothing (NO acknowledgement at all), they (all Budtenders) knew I was there but chose to ignore me anyway, patrons coming in after me were tended to first, I was standing at the cases next to the flower...... I am a patient man, but this took the cake, after 15 minutes of being ignored, I had to raise my voice to get service. Very upset with M&A Budtenders they really need more training (BT's even if your busy acknowledge people). Customer service has been going downhill for a while now. I'll leave with one statement for any business to live by especially in IB, "It is in your ultimate best interest to take care of those who take care of you." Needless to say, M&A (Imperial Beach) will be replaced now by GH (Chula Vista) yeah traffic. read more

Places is getting terrible. low on all products which has become more consistent of a problem. The weed dealers are more worried about getting burritos for each other than listening to the guest saying he would like to use his points to pay for stuff. As someone that has been a very good customer to this place. Unfortunately it's time to find a new home, not worth it. Go to Urban leaf or get deliver from there. Better selection, prices and customer service, or grasshopper delivery if your in IB and don't want to leave. read more

product is okay bud tender are nice but the thick short manager always had a attitude makes me not wanna shop there

Most employees are friendly, but if you can steer clear of the short girl with brassy orange hair, DO IT. Outrightly rude and ill mannered. Rolled her eyes and made looks in response to any question I asked. Wish I could list her name so her managers could teach her some customer service, but like all poor employees there was no name tag(can't list a name, can't get in trouble, right?!). read more
