I used TH for about a year while I lived in San Diego. Rarely, I would go to the dispensary. I would take advantage of their delivery services most of the time. - I normally purchased Kurvana vape pen oils because the brand is good quality and the pricing was typically the best. However, about one in every five cartridges had a defect. The oil would leak out the bottom all over the vape pen and ooze out the ceramic mouthpiece. The full gram was unusable. When I explained these issues to management, they accused me of purposefully tampering with the cartridges. I explained to him that he needed to hold off on smoking so much sativa because he was clearly paranoid. There was no benefit from me allegedly committing some sort of product tampering after I already paid for it and was willing to return it for a new one. I hated having to make calls to set the situation right. Later, Kurvana had a full campaign apologizing for their faulty products, acknowledging that there had been a great deal of damaged cartridges produced. I was reimbursed by Kurvana directly but it was a lot of work. - In addition, one of their delivery drivers was particularly odd. In the beginning, we would strike up a conversation during cash exchange and she invited me to one of her rap shows in downtown San Diego, which I thought was fine. However, overtime she started to overstay her welcome. At one point, she mentioned how much she liked my clothes and asked if she could have them for free. That's when I started driving to the dispensary instead of getting my products delivered. read more

Something is up with this place. I've probably been 8 times and will not go again. The cannabis products are good and the staff with whom I've interacted have generally been helpful. However, on every visit something has been off about my order total. I'm constantly asking to confirm that the order total is accurate and usually have to leave off an item because the total is not what I expected. Feels like I'm constantly being gaslit which is not cool. Also, they claim to take debit cards but every time that I've visited the machines are not working or can't connect - doesn't make sense. Just went back, it's been a few years and now I know why. I have a pen, and asked for stiizy and was suggested a left coast pod? I asked if this would fit because they or I didn't have a left coast pod pen I was told I would be saving 8 bucks if I chose that brand. Opened it up, and of course the pod is useless. Looked up the company, and they have EXPENSIVE pens to the pod. So, I spent $60 in total for a useless pod and 2 $5 prerolls. Also, they told me they don't take tap and a CUSTOMER told me the front girls/humans lied and said they actually do take tap. I was actually walking out and the customer told me to go in and try. Torrey Holistics appears to be well run and organized. I enjoyed my first time going there. The staff is friendly, as is the security guard. The security is important to them and only a few people can go into the retail portion at a time. Once there, you are greeted and questions are answered. I don't like bullshit. There's a sign inside this dispensary encouraging people to write reviews. They're supposed to give you a preroll for a penny as a reward. When I tried to take them up on this, they were "out" of the prerolls... I felt like the cashier didn't give a shit. She could have asked the manager for a solution of some type. I've been trained to provide excellent customer service. Maybe I'm wrong for expecting great customer service when I'm the customer? Caitlin needs to be more cheerful at work. I left a review earlier a couple weeks ago but it got deleted but honestly this place is so awful that I had to leave another one. There's 3 main problems with this store and why I'll never come here again. 1. The main and biggest problem is that the staff at this place are beyond rude. Once I got in there this guys is being an a-hole to me making rude comments cus I want to get the best bang for my buck acting like I'm some dirty stoner degenerate and I have no idea what I'm talking about. Only once I mentioned having a job did he get a LITTLE bit nicer but it wasn't by very much. I'd prefer to talk to no one while checking out however... 2. They force you to sit in a waiting room instead of just showing your ID to enter the store. At this store they don't let you choose your own products basically or look around at any of the prices. You have to talk to someone the entire time about what you want and they just pick something out for you. THIS IS A HORRIBLE SYSTEM. I love looking at prices, I love looking around the store to get the best thing possible without feeling like I'm being rushed out so they can take care of the next customer. And waiting in the waiting room is just awful. 3. This one isn't a huge problem because the only reason I went there was that I had 40% off but without that discount this place is soooo expensive. It is like 20% more expensive than other dispos and the deals only make it an average price. The first dispensary I have gone to and really enjoyed all of the selections. The guy assisting us was very helpful. This place is pretty intense. When you get there you have to go through a metal detector and put your name down to get called in the back. It looks somewhat like a doctors office but with metal doors that lock when shut. Continually impressed by the service and selection here. This store was my first experience with medical cannabis, and did not know what to expect. A friend had suggested some items for chronic pain, and staff was very helpful in locating them for me and providing feedback & advice. Each subsequent visit has been more of the same. Parking can be troublesome, and the location is a bit out of the way in an industrial park, but it's by no means a sketchy area. Other retailers should take a lesson on how to keep customers informed and to make them feel welcome. read more

I had gone to Torrey several times and was happy with the service. Then I went a couple of weeks ago to get a refill of a serum for sleep... I am allergic to Coconut oil, so I ask for something that did not have it. He started looking and most everything had Coconut. Then he found me a gummies that he said was great. So I bought 2 of them... my bad.. I did not check for myself that it had coconut oil in it.. I took on the next night and was sick for 2 days, very sick. I looked on the package and it had coconut oil. I emailed them and chatted with them and they said there was nothing they could do... I had one package that was completely unopened.... They would not take any responsibility for selling me something I allergic too. I have gone to the ER with this allergy before... So I will not be back.. they said they would give me a big discount... but they only sold me a smaller size for the same price as before.. I do not believe this is an ethical practice. I will not go back, if they cannot take an allergy serious and then not stand beside their mistake. read more
