I hired 3 days ago, the cleaner said she was lost, then she went to the apartment with no material, went in and out saying she would come back and never came back. According to the cleaner, the apartment should hire deep cleaning. I called Marcela that she said she would reschedule. Because she did not return the email to reschedule or the call. As a customer I still had the answer in the google review about my honesty. In all my life I have never seen a company so bad, that questions the honesty of a service that the customer decides to pay, after offering a professional who arrives without material, it was although, without doing the job and does not return the rescheduling and still quotes the term honesty, placing the blame on the client. Do not hire. They are rude and unprofessional. read more

I came across Marcela's Cleaning Service when I was searching for options on how to clean my balcony (I live in a 14-story condo). I needed someone that could come in an just clean the balcony, including the furniture and windows. I found a lot of places that would not just do this, but only as part of a total cleaning. Marcela's was very flexible and friendly and was able to schedule the cleaning within days after I called. They were timely and professional and did a great job. They charge by the hour and were very efficient in the process to ensure as timely completion as possible without sacrificing quality. I felt the rates were very reasonable for the service provided and I was very satisfied with the end result. I can now enjoy my balcony again! I definitely recommend Marcela's to anyone looking for a reasonable and quality option to clean their outdoor space or home. read more

This would be a 3.75 if I could give those types of numbers but overall they deserve a 4 rather than going to a three. The cleaning service came to my 1000sq foot apt, with 3 people and got right to work. Literally two workers stormed by me and got cleaning while the crew leader spoke with me for a minute. They did a great job, especially in the kitchen and the molding. This was a move out cleaning and would recommend them to anyone for such a purpose. The price was very reasonable at about $80 an hour. Only Con: They did not clean the freezer which really needed it. But I am sure it was just overlooked as everything else looked great! read more

I have been using Marcela's for 2 years now and I couldn't be happier. Carina, my favorite, does such a meticulous job and I am very fussy. I have tried others when I couldn't get an appointment when I needed it and nothing compares. Marcela goes out of her way to accommodate a difficult schedule. I hope I never have to find someone else at least not for awhile! read more

I have used Marcela's Housekerping for years. They are very reliable, honest and competent.

My neighbor referred me to Marcela's with a stern warning that I was too much of a perfectionist to be happy with someone else cleaning my usually spotless condo. Guess what? He was wrong! I have been so pleased with Marcela's. Yesterday was their 6th cleaning of my home. I have had other services over the years, but I have never had house cleaners who would leave almost every single item (photo frames, decor, bar stools, rugs, etc.) in the exact place I keep them. No streaks on anything, Sparkling polished hardwood floors too.Just like I cleaned it myself -- I love it! Thank you Marcela and Patty and crew! read more

I don't recommend this business. They are super pricey and don't even clean very well. In fact they do more damage then good.

Two Cleaners showed up with friendly attitudes and ready to work. They where professional and made me feel comfortable that they where going to do a great job. It took them just over an hour and I was very happy with the overall quality. I plan to be a repeat customer and look forward to many more years of deep cleaning. read more

Disappointed in the lack of attention to detail, overall service was ok. Workers were friendly, but not thorough. For a move out cleaning I expected a much better detailed clean than what I recieved. I am currently Re cleaning rhe base boards, walls and "out of sight" / high areas. When I called for a quote, she said 150-190 for 4-5hrs. They cleaners arrived at 1130 and went straight to work upstairs, a little past 1230 they came down stairs and started the kitchen, he then informed me that it would probably take them longer than expected to complete the job (which I think is a cleaning services do to rip you off) I said alright. He went back to the kitchen and spent the rest of his time on the oven, which had baked on gunk but shouldn't have had all his attention. The lady wiped the walls and base boards and mopped downstairs. The bathrooms were done really well except that she didn't clean the vents. My initial walk through was rushed because I had somewhere to be, so I didn't see eveything they missed. This morning when I walked through I was not impressed, I called to ask how much I would be charged, she said 240 for the "extra time" spent, and she quoted me 9 labor hours because there were two workers. They were only there for 3 1/2 hrs =7 labor hours. I told her what was wrong and everyrhing that was missed, she tried to blame it on them having to pick up trash before vaccuming. She then said 200, because it's a business and they have to make a living too I didn't push to lower it even though I thoroughly believe I didn't get what I paid for. read more

I saw two cleaning people from this company (I later learned) leaving a nearby residence. I asked who they worked for and they told me Marcela's and gave me the phone number. Long story short, my Dad was in need of housecleaning and he is very ill. Not only did Marcela's team come and thoroughly clean my Dad's house, they were considerate and careful not to disturb him. Professionalism and results - I don't find that combo very often and when I do, I am so thankful. I highly recommend these folks for house cleaning. I will use them when I move next month and when I need to put my Dad's home on the market. read more

Workers seem overworked and tired. They rush through the house because of time restrictions placed on them by Marcela's, therefore taking shortcuts and missing things. I would recommend a company that treats it's workers with respect and would therefore be willing to do a good job. read more
