(1) They were out of a lot of the suggested toppings; I'd be OK with it if it was just one or two, but it seemed like quite a few. (2) The line wasn't very well-organized; I'd hope that the employee could do a better job of managing traffic. (3) They're pretty skimpy on the quantity here. I asked her for a sample of two flavors, one for myself and one for my son, she told me no, only 1 sample. I said okay. Went into marble slab at 9:40 pm. I know the time cause I checked my watch making sure I wasn't walking in 5 minutes until close. Yes they close at 10. After waiting 10 minutes to be served, because one person was cleaning and putting things away, completely Ignoring us. The other employee was serving and mixing ice cream for another customer. I start to order my ice cream and I am told that they can't mix my ice cream cause they are closing the marble. It is now 9:50. I'm a little put off and decided I don't want ice cream there anymore. I had to give a single star, it really deserves a zero. I called this location Monday, yesterday, to order a bday cake for the weekend. The manager recommended I go in, pick, and make a deposit. I agreed to go today. He gave mr an idea and I felt good about the communication. I leave work early, Tuesday, and a lady is working the store by herself and she doesn't speak English well, or at all. I was patient and spoke slowly, i even had to remove my ask at distance a couple times. She kept looking for my cake and kept asking my name. I tried to tell her I had not even order anything yet. She was frustrated with me and suggested I ordered from the wrong location instead of her business. With the language barrier, I was not able to get anything done. Beware of the sizes they offer. The manager will trick you into ordering and paying for larger sizes. I ordered two small cones and a small cup. There were three cup sizes on display, and he held up the smallest. "This size?" I told him, "yes." Of course, the "small" cup is hidden under the counter. AWFUL! Literally created a yelp account to leave this review because something needs to be said. Both my boyfriend and I called when they opened to place an order for a cake. The lady I spoke with had a huge accent that made it very difficult to understand anything...and then she hung up on me. My boyfriend called back and placed the order because I was so frustrated from being hung up on. When we showed up for the cake 5 hours later the woman behind the counter acted clueless and pointed for us to speak with the other woman working. This second woman explained that the lady who took our order probably didn't understand because she knows limited English. Sooooo...no cake. We ended up having to select a pre-made cake that was completely different from what we wanted and THEN THEY CHARGED US FULL PRICE. For their own mistake?!? NASTY!!! In late July 2012 my boyfriend, my son and myself went to get icecream after dinner. There was a line, which was to be expected at that time. What was not to be expected was the fact that while standing in line one of the guys serving dropped a bowl on the floor, over the counter. He asked for the customer behind us to pass it back to him. The teenager did as he was asked. I ask the server, "you're not gonna use that are you?" He assured me he would not, then he did. It was not our icecream and the person in front of us who received the "FLOOR BOWL" heard what I said and didn't seem to mind. Then I realized the other server had cut himself while slicing strawberries. He washed his hand and then wrapped a papertowl around it. I told my boyfriend what I had seen. I figured it had stopped bleeding...When he handed my son his icecream I saw blood on both the server's finger and on the bowl. I told my son not to touch it and we left.
