It's a small space with seating at the front, middle, and towards the back of the ice cream shop. One of workers was cutting fresh baked cookies in the shape of hearts. We actually purchased one and they were warm and delicious. My son ordered an ice cream scoop in a waffle cone, my husband ordered a scoop in a cup and I ordered a fresh baked brownie. My son devoured his ice scream and waffle cone. I tried my husband's ice cream and it was good. He enjoyed the flavor. I loved my fresh baked brownie. It was a deliciously warm sweet treat. Overall, Space City has friendly staff, a variety of ice cream flavors, and freshly made baked goods. I'd definitely go back just for the brownies.

There's not too much seating, definitely more of a grab and go unless you have less than 6-7 people in your group! Note to the owner: If you see this, PLEASE put pandan, pandan coconut, or pandan matcha in rotation!

They offered samples and Mark sampled the Lemon Pie (or a similar name) and loved it. He ordered two scoops - one lemon and one coffee. I tried both and WOW, the lemon was fantastic! I ordered one scoop of Tiramisu, which included alcohol. I almost passed on it because we don't drink, but I figured it couldn't be any stronger than 'near beer'. I'm glad I got the Tiramisu. It was delicious. I would never suspect there was alcohol in it. Because we would be heading home after, we decided to have a seat and eat it in the shop, which is very clean and cute. There are three two-seat tables in the shop (it's small), so be aware. There are a few tables out front. There's nothing not to like here. I want to try every flavor! It was absolutely delicious!

May 7, 2022 5 stars…read morefor the ice cream ONLY ice cream shops are exciting, no?!! The front window even says, "ice cream makes you happy!!!" I'm 60 years old and I still get giddy when I eat it whether at home or out... especially out though! It just makes you smile, right?! I mean..."he likes it, hey Mikey?!" But, I digress...the reason I'm disappointed is the youngsters, Robert (owner) has working for him...NOT impressive. And the asethetics of the inside is blah. Nothing like the photos of when it first opened. The Galveston staff is more engaging but, this girl today...she had 1 person checking out when be we walked in and then never acknowledged us when she was done. Just waited for us to order, no verbal engagement. My friend (a lifelong resident in of Galveston co) had never heard of this place...soo, heck yeah, WE ALL SCREAM FOR ICE CREAM! Let's get it! I moved to Galveston from Houston in 2013, and shortly after when this place moved to Post office Street (in galveston) is when I started keeping up with this small business. I told my friend the background story about the owner (Robert's dad, Mike) following his passion after leaving his profession and how he started making creative versions of this creamy goodness in his garage in Idaho...how I met Mike several times when he first opened. (what can I say, when I love food/dessert I learn the stories!) Anyway, this location has a smaller selection of ice cream and toppings...and, no cookies or brownies here either to buy (boo) My friend was excited and impressed because I was excited...I created the magic NOT the employee. This girl knew from overhearing us talking that my friend had never been here before but, meh so what. No offer to try one or any communication at all from her. THAT is a pet peeve of mine. Can y'all tell?!! Anyway, my friend got cake and brownie batter scoops in a waffle cone; she's in love with Mikey now! And she will tell her people and bring her grand kids... WHY? because, of the wonderfully rich ever flavorful...ICE CREAM PS: tidy up as the day goes on because the display glass was cloudy from not getting wiped down throughout the day AND, the restroom? A wreck...paper on the floor, no paper towels but, I bet with that phone in hand, she didn't miss a text today honey! Keep making that magic, Mikey...Robert Bouvier! Can't wait to try the banana oreo!

My friend went next door and they said he is always running late bringing in groceries or something. Sure enough we waited to still give them a chance. He arrives at 12:19pm with groceries in hand. Saw us and didn't apologize for running late or said "I'll be right with you" nothing of that nature just ignored us. We were there with our 1 and 2 year olds. After he finished bringing in his groceries we waited another 10 mins as he still had his closer sign up and messing with the music. He didn't open the window for us till 12:31pm asking if we had cash because his card reader wasn't working. We said no so he said we needed to wait more till he got the reader working. We waited a few more minutes and said he would try to see if the reader would work he said no so I asked if we could Zelle him or something as I only had $7 cash, he gave an attitude saying he couldn't do that so I said that's fine we would just go somewhere else. Before we left my friend asked what time does he usually open as we were under the impression they opened at 12 he said he was just running late today but my friend said "well next door said you're always running late with groceries or something " and he just rolled his eyes and closed the window on us. NEVER COMING BACK OR RECOMMEND THIS PLACE. Owner needs to learn some customer service basics as that's not how you treat customers SPECIALLY when we waited and never said anything to rush you.
