Parking can be tight here, it is a walk up counter and there is guidance on the menu board and wall on how to put your Italian Ice/Gelato masterpiece together. We were fortunate to have the team member behind the counter explain how it works. Undecided, we let the family behind us go ahead. I decided to build my own which consisted of cotton candy Italian ice with vanilla gelati and cookie butter crumbles. The concoction was nothing short of amazing and sinfully delectable! I did download the app because of the rewards program and the pending opening of a Jeremiah's near our house. The space inside is very whimsical and there is plenty of room to enjoy your treat. The only downside to the visit was the other team member having an airpod in his ear! This is disrespectful to the guest because it emulates that you are not listening and paying attention to the guest in front of you. Other than that we will back for some more blissful desserts in the future!

Tremendously diverse selection of toppings including: fruit, nuts of all kinds, pastry's, candies, popping bobas and some really cool items like chocolate pretzels and marshmallows. They also have drizzle items like caramel, chocolate sauce, strawberry sauce and fudge. THE BEST PART is the service. Such a sweet group of young people every time. Usually people around my age don't have the kind of enthusiasm that you need to keep the vibes right when working in an ice cream or yogurt shop but they're all so nice. INSANELY good value for what you get. I'm used to spending around $8-10 every time no matter which yogurt spot I go to but I was VERY surprised when my bowl only was $5-6. I get the same bowl whenever I find a new yogurt spot so this place is really killing it on pricing and because of that, I haven't stepped foot in a RED MANGO, MENCHIES or TUTTI FRUTTI. I'd heard about Cold Stone through the digital grapevine for a while. I first noticed the Clear…read moreLake location when my brother and I visited Bonchon next door, and when he asked if I wanted dessert there, I readily agreed. Cold Stone is like any ice cream shop: small, vertical, and with limited seating. Those three things I can easily overlook; my focus was entirely on how they craft their time-honored sweet treats. The Peanut Butter Cup Perfection immediately caught my eye. Since this was my initial visit, I opted for the 'Like It' size, their term for a small. Seeing that it was made with Reese's, I expected to fall in love instantly. Well, it's more of a 'yes and no' situation. The good news was that it came to me perfectly cold, a welcome relief considering Houston summers make the Sahara look like Antarctica! However, the ice cream itself was simply too rich and thick. Even eating it outside in the heat didn't help much with the density. Word to the wise: don't forget the napkins when you get your order(s), because you'll definitely need quite a few! An incredible thing I noticed was that Bonchon and Cold Stone are actually connected, so much so that I even saw an employee wearing a Bonchon polo shirt inside Cold Stone. I must say, it's pretty ideal to have ice cream readily available after wolfing down something spicy like Korean fried chicken. While I wouldn't avoid Cold Stone, I also wouldn't be in a rush to come back, either.
