I had to leave a review after coming to this location two times now while visiting friends. It's disappointing to come to an ice cream shop, and the employees have zero desire to provide satisfactory service.. serving ice cream... The employee(s) working 8:30 PM- 9:30 PM make a customer's portions half the size of those at other Marble Slab locations and limit the amount of toppings when requested. I have featured a picture to show what my friend received tonight after asking to have the Dubai Chocolate Sunday. Unacceptable. This should be at most $9. Not $13. I have been to Marble Slabs in Mississippi on multiple occasions over the years. A few months ago, I ordered the new Dubai Chocolate Sunday ($12.99) at the Ocean Springs, MS location. One of the best tasting ice cream experiences I've ever had, and the employee nailed the presentation... it looked exactly as advertised. Below you can witness the comparing photo of my experience at the West Bay Area blvd vs the Ocean Springs location. Do not recommend spending your money there, and I will not be going back to West Bay Area location.

    It's a treat

good treat and great service !! Ill be back! staff here are very very nice. The parking space in front is limited but there's a lot of parking spaces around the area, you just have to do some walking. The mix in toppings are all fresh. I have been here a lot and I've only had old marshmallow once.

The absolute worst experience I have ever had at this location. My family has visited this location many time over the past 15 years but after our latest experience we will never take our business back. Our family of 5 entered the shop around 10pm on Friday. We opted to sit and eat our ice cream in the shop because we had 2 children with us. Around 10:25 PM, one of the employees approached my family to inform us that the shop was closed and that we needed to leave. The employee continued to hover over my family. In a confused state, we started to clean up our mess. When we were not moving fast enough for the employee she again informed us that we needed to leave. As we were leaving at 10:27 PM, 2 customers drove up and entered the shop. These customer being 2 adults were allowed to enter. When I drove back by the shop at 10:47 PM there were then 3 customers enjoying their ice cream in the shop. For clarity, the signage next to the entry (picture included) indicated that this Marble Slab location closes at 11:00 PM on Fridays. Based on this experience it appears that this Marble Slab location has discriminatory practices against children. For what...being messy? Being kids? There is no other explanation why 20 minutes after we were told to leave because the shop was "closed" that there would be 3 adult customers (unrelated to the establishment) sitting in the shop enjoying their ice cream. To make matters worse, they would not allow us to use the bathroom claiming it was out of order. There was no sign on the door indicating such status but there was a sign reinforcing that the bathroom was for customers only.

Scam, make sure you look at your receipt before you pay. They charge based on the amount of mix-ins. I asked for 3 small and was charged for 4 regular just because I got 4 mix-ins. The sign in the entrance says free mix-ins. Worker was talking on the phone while taking our order the whole time.

    Best ice cream!

Clean and spacious and wonderful people work here! Loved coming here on Mother's Day! Perfect treat ;)

This place was rated two stars and I'm paying (literally) for ignoring that and going here anyway. The women working here are scam artists. I ordered two small cups of ice cream, one of the two women showed me a cup and I nodded, assuming she was showing me the size I asked for. Then, while mixing my order she fails to mix it up all the way and I had to ask her to mix it further. All of the mix-ins were just sitting on top. As she's mixing it, my husband comments on the size of the ice cream, asking if it's a small. I said yes as the woman glanced at him after his question that she clearly heard, as well as my response, and back down to the slab without saying a word. Once she finishes our order she tells me the total is $14. Shocked, I ask her the price of my husband's custom order and when she tells me $7, I'm aghast at $7 for a small when the board behind her clearly says $5. When I point it out she then tells me I have regular sizes, not smalls like I asked for. She then tries to blame me, saying I chose the cup size. However, I asked for a small and she showed me a cup. I didn't think she would be deceitful and show me a larger size than what I was asking for. The stack of cups aren't in size order, just grouped in a circle, so there was no way to realize it was the wrong size. I left there with a bad taste in my mouth and will never return to this location. I see very clearly why this location has such low rating, it is well deserved.

They had great service Mrs. Shirin was so very sweet and so was Mr.Ali! Of course yummy ice cream too!

The Baked Bear specializes in custom ice cream sandwiches. They bake their cookies fresh all day and offer a wide variety of ice cream flavors. You can mix and match different cookies and ice cream flavors to create your perfect ice cream sandwich. These customized sweet treats are beyond decadent; they make Godiva chocolate seem like street food from India. While I was ordering, I looked around and noticed many customers with their eyes rolled back in their heads and big smiles on their faces after just one bite. Sidenote: I went down to the Kroger a few blocks away and bought some dry ice, which I put in my cooler. I returned to the Baked Bear and ordered about ten different ice cream cookie sandwiches. We were having an event at our house, and these would make the perfect treat. I put the ice cream sandwiches in the cooler with the dry ice when I got home, quartered them, placed them on a plate, and put them in the freezer. After dinner, I brought out the treats. Everyone had the same reaction when they took their first bite: their chins went up, their eyes rolled back in their heads, and they had huge smiles on their faces. Everyone exclaimed, "Oh my God, this is great! Where did you get them?" When I told my friend I got them from the Baked Bear, he started laughing. I asked him why, and he said, "It's the name--the 'BAKED' Bear!" Ohhhh... lol. It's a verb! It made for a great evening. I wish they would make party plates like this in the future. This was such a fantastic experience. I wish it weren't so far from my house, but my pancreas is happy that it is! Take the time to go; it's worth the trip, and you will love it if you enjoy sweet childhood treats. Kudos to the Baked Bear for bringing something so needed to the Clear Lake area!

These aren't your average donuts--these are mochi-style, which means you get that perfect balance of crisp on the outside and that delightfully chewy, stretchy bite inside. Think hybrid between a donut and a soft rice cake--but better. I tried three flavors and each one delivered not only in taste, but also in presentation: Strawberry Pocky - The pink glaze is rich but not overly sweet, with a mellow fruity flavor that pairs beautifully with the crisp strawberry Pocky stick laid across the top. It's playful, photo-ready, and honestly a fun one to start with. Cookies & Cream - This was the most indulgent of the three. The crushed cookie crumbles on top add a nice contrast in texture to the soft mochi base. The glaze is creamy, with a subtle vanilla-oreo vibe that doesn't overpower. White Chocolate + Chocolate Drizzle + Star Sprinkles - This one felt festive and nostalgic, almost like a vanilla birthday cake remix. The red, white, and blue stars added crunch and charm, while the white glaze and chocolate drizzle gave it that extra richness. Each donut is a satisfying experience--not overly dense, just the right amount of sweetness, and incredibly fun to eat.
