This place is in the middle of nowhere, literally no where, but it is beautiful and very convenient, I would have given them 5 stars but as the other reviews say, new towels and bedding need to be updated however that didn't bother us one bit. We were only passing through and supposed to stay for the night, I like my space so I got the two bedroom apartment and 1 1/2 baths it was tree of us and our little babies spoiled super clean dogs lol. We were so comfortable and love the place, the prices where like wow ! I though they were kidding so cheap.. we like to stay in good places but being that we were in the middle of nowhere we gave this place a try. We were ok with it to a point that we stayed an extra night. A year later and we definitely came back to this place, as I said before this is not your four seasons hotel but it is an amazing place to feel and get connected with nature. My friends, doggies and I sure enjoyed everything of it

I've stayed here many times ,when fishing at lees ferry , Nothing fancy just a solid room with everything you need for a restful night sleep, have use the apartments and the hotel rooms both are good quality clean and for the price you can't beat it plan on staying there many more times, this is not a luxury hotel, it's a country Lodge in

Request a room in the back row of this lodge and the view will not disappoint. We spent most of our time on the patio watching the sunset and rise. The rooms are small but we weren't there to watch TV. This lodge is close to Lee's Ferry and hours of outdoor adventures. The bed was squeaky but comfortable as it made a great deal of noise with every toss and turn.

Can't expect much out in the middle of Gods country, but I was pleasantly surprised. Beds were a little old, but flooring was wood & clean as opposed to icky carpet that's seen way to much. The food was amazing & even had a beer selection!

Cliff Dwellers Lodge - Inside the renovated double queen room

    Cliff Dwellers Lodge

    (40 reviews)

Stayed a few nights here in August on both ends of a rafting/camping trip through the Grand Canyon…read more I had an excellent stay both times - very comfortable and clean rooms, wonderfully warm staff, decent prices, and an incredible location inside the Vermillion Cliffs National Monument! It's a bit of a remote location (which I loved) but the lodge has everything you could possibly need - a really great on-site restaurant, general store, gas station, and they even do their own guided fishing trips and kayak rentals complete with backhaul drop offs to a launch point of your choice. And even though you're a bit of a captive audience, their prices are surprisingly pretty reasonable - even for the gas! The lodge is currently split into two sections - one has been recently renovated and one hasn't. I stayed in a double queen room in the renovated section and a single king room in the non-renovated section. Both rooms were spotlessly clean and very cozy - but I definitely prefer the renovated rooms - simply because they have a superior bathroom layout/shower - The shower in the non-renovated room was very rudimentary- almost like one you'd find in an RV - and there was very little counterspace. And the TVs include an option to log into your streaming apps to watch your fave shows. But the beds were both very comfortable in both rooms - the mattresses felt very supportive but not overly hard - seemed like temperpedic quality. The decor in the renovated rooms is very desert-cowboy-chic - but the non-renovated room was super retro - more like a 70s spaghetti western style lol. There are refrigerators and Keurig coffee makers in all the rooms - renovated and non-renovated alike. All the rooms have outside patio seating but it's not private. I was next to the restaurant in the non-renovated room and was worried it might be too loud but I didn't hear a thing - it was peaceful and quiet! Speaking of the restaurant- the food is absolutely fantastic! I ate two dinners here and a breakfast and loved it all. They also have a unique dessert - avocado pie! Highly recommend! Everything here is family owned and all the staff were friendly, welcoming, and very helpful. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and fully intend to return bc there's SO much to explore in the area - especially if you love the desert outdoors!

By far the best aspect of the lodge was the guide we hired to help us fish Lees Ferry. His name was Shane and he was incredibly experienced. It was my first time fly fishing and he taught me to cast, mend, and set the hook. We caught more fish before noon than I did on my last fishing trip. Shane knew every spot to visit to get the trout biting. The food at the lodge was also incredible. I ate one of the best patty melts I've had and the breakfast burritos hit the spot before a fishing trip. I also can't give the sweet potato fries high enough praise. They had the perfect amount of crunch and salt I look for in a fry with that same sweet potato taste. If you stop in; try the avocado pie! The lodge is absolutely worth a visit. Stay a night, try out the restaurant, try to book Shane if you can, and fish until your arm gets tired!

It's so beautifully made and surprisingly spacious on the inside. It felt special to stay in such a unique structure that is very meaningful to the Navajo owner. The morning camp fire was appreciated, as was the coffee and Navajo tea and breakfast. Highly recommended for a unique place to stay in an incredible setting. We arrived at 4pm and I did get a little confused with the finding the mile sign but that was our fault. Baya & paul sent us directions that were pretty direct but if your not good with directions I can see how it may be difficult. Paul & Baya are very pleasant people, very kind and want to make sure you have the best stay possible. The bell tent: amazing! Really spacious especially since it was just the two of us. The blankets & sleeping bags they provided were perfect. It was a bit cold out but we slept more than fine. Inside they provided a few things and it was really sweet because they left a bunny pez candy (Easter weekend) and candles. The dogs hey have didn't bother us one bit, big love bugs. The property: BEAUTIFUL! Baya let us know we could adventure wherever we wanted. There is a porta potty. It was clean and did not smell. They provided us with bathing water. Note: this is a bird bath not a full on shower & it's a bucket of water. For us that was fine because we only stayed one night. ALSO! The stars at night are absolutely breathtaking! If you can get a couple photos (camera familiar people) take advantage. In the morning Baya brought us coffee & a traditional breakfast. Blue corn porridge! It was very yummy with fruit and honey also. We will be returning this summer when it's a little warmer and a little less windy. THANK YOU AGAIN PAUL & BAYA & little Bridgette ( sorry for the spelling if wrong) for letting us be your neighbors for the night. It was a very beautiful experience.

The receptionist can't/won't do anything regarding check-in and just tells you to check your booking.com messages (we booked through Priceline and they couldn't figure out or tell us anything). 3. Called their phone number and told them about our experience. Their explanation was that sometimes roaches crawl up from the sewer and enter the rooms, and its a problem all over Page. But not to worry! They assured me they aren't the dirty kind of roaches. I asked that they provide a refund and I have yet to hear back. Your better off just skipping this one.

The shower not only worked but was a decent size. We stayed two nights and mainly used the fridge for our cold water. We filled our water bottles from the sink tap in the evening and had chilled water for our little adventures. I think we would have used the kitchen if we stayed longer. We've stayed at the Hampton Inn before and automatically this was our first choice. The place was easy to find, with plenty of parking. There is diamond member only parking, and regular parking as well as a lovely pull up area if you need to unload. Two different options available for bringing in your luggage is right inside the doors and they could also be used to be carrying out your items. Please note that there are signs near the entrance to say not to smoke with a certain distance. The staff were kind and helpful, immediately greeting us when we came in. We had the same woman on the desk the entire trip, and she was very simple and supportive. Right next to the check-in lobby, to the right of it is a snack shop in case you need any. Again no vegan options or health conscious items. Check-in was simple and it was interesting to navigate the online prices versus the prices in person. Not much of a difference, but still some and they alter per day and season. The process was quick and easy. We got a room on the fourth floor and it had a really great view. It felt easy to get to the top and our room. The room was clean and ready, they came daily to switch things out and offer service. A few amenities available for toiletries and coffee in the room along with tv and WiFi. The beds are comfy and firm. The pillows are feather so they deflate quickly. We couldn't get a single outlet on the night stand or near the tv stand to work. Breakfast is included in the stay offering eggs, sausage, potatoes, waffles, bagels, muffins, cereal, toast, oatmeal, yogurt, drinks and condiments. You get to make the waffles yourself! Only vegan options were bread and butter. No non dairy milks offered. So heads up on that. I did try a few things and just to be honest, I didn't like the eggs, sausage, potatoes or oatmeal because they were too soggy. The eggs, potatoes and sausage are kept in a heater (understandably so) but however it's cooked in combo with the consistent steaming, they become very moist and unpleasant in texture. The eggs were in some water at the base. I'm sure for some people this is fine but also for many it's makes the food inedible.. which defeats free breakfast. Including having more vegan / planted based / non dairy options. The oatmeal was very slimy. I did enjoy toast with butter and jam, waffles and after dabbing the sausage dry, that too. The coffee was good, again no non dairy options for milk. Juices are good too, they aren't fresh or real.. combo of ingredients. Plenty of condiments were available. It was a nice set up. The staff maintained the space entirely. The hot tub and pool were great. A heated pool and the hot tub was near a large door that opens so the cool air came in as we sat in the hot water. It's located super close to food, INCREDIBLE LANDSCAPES and gas.

There's also a Native shop attached to the restaurant, which was fun to browse through before eating. The restaurant itself is toward the back, and the restrooms are conveniently located nearby, so I was able to freshen up and change before dinner after being outdoors all day. I ordered the deluxe cheeseburger combo, which totally hit the spot, while my friend got the beef stew with Native fry bread.
