Truly some of the best food I've ever had. I know you go to an Aman resort (especially AMANGIRI) for the ambiance but man... the FOOD!! I know the price of a room can feel steep but we went for our wedding engagements and it's still to this day one of the best experience of my life. And since all food is included in the price of the room you should not hesitate on trying any and everything you can! The food was UNREAL truly so delicious! Every meal - breakfast, lunch, and dinner! Favorites: Breakfast: the cast iron pancake (so good!!) Lunch: Burrata, Wagyu Burger, White Pizza Dinner: go on Earth Day if you can - the lamb was amazing

This place is something else. MAGICAL We stayed for three nights and everything was fantastic. I love the ambiance and the decor. Earthy dessert notes. Their spa and massages were beautiful. If you go to their main dinning for dinner, try the duck confeit. It's to die for!

This place is amazing. Yes, it is pricey, but I would say it is very worth it and it makes sense why it costs what it costs. The customer service is beyond the best. The ambiance is so relaxing. It was one of the most peaceful places I have ever been to. The rooms were perfect. The bed was super comfortable. The only thing I would add is that I'm not a fan of the pillows since they get so dense as you sleep on them, but I asked for firmer pillows and they delivered to my room quickly and I was able to sleep great. The service was fantastic - definitely what you would expect for the price. The landscape was breathtaking. I love how isolated the resort is and how you are with nature, but still at a luxury hotel. The food is included in the price of your nightly stay. We ate so good. The food was delicious. We had room service for breakfast, lunch at the pool and dinner at the restaurants. We ate at both of the restaurants and both were great. Camp Sarika restaurant was a fixed menu and they change (I believe) every night - cuisine inspired from a different country or region. When we went it was Caribbean inspired and delicious. They have a wide selection of activities you can do, some more adventurous and some more relaxing. I did a hike and sunset yoga, which was amazing to do yoga up on the mountain. Then our last morning we hiked out to the cave (free activity) with a tour guide and met the artist Ulrike Arnold. We were lucky enough to be there when she was there since she travels the world. She is the artist that created all the art work in the hotel. She has an amazing story and her art is unique and beautiful. The hike to the cave was super interesting, with ancient artifacts and pictographs. If you come here you must go to the spa. I got the purifying massage experience - which was by far the most amazing massage I've ever had. I've had a lot of massages and I'm serious when I say it was the best. It was a lymphatic drainage massage and I felt amazing during and after it. I almost fell asleep a few times because I felt so good and relaxed. The spa amenities of the cold plunge, step pool and sauce was awesome too. The main pool that surrounds the "peaceful mountain" (what Amangiri is named after) is amazing as well. There is a hot tub that is by it too. The pool and hot tub is open 24 hours which I appreciated because I feel like most pools close relatively early. We enjoyed the pool late at night which was fun. The pool is heated and felt good during the day and night. I highly recommend this place and would love to come back!

Man... this is one of the most unique places I have ever been to. Every piece of of my time here was unforgettable. The staff, the food, the onsite activities, the view, the room... 10/10. It was such a blessing for my wife and I to share our first anniversary here. We got in and we're greeted once our car pulled up by the staff who knew exactly who we were upon arrival somehow. The initial tour was incredible taking in the views and really there are no photos that do it justice. Everything that I ate here was incredible, and I tried to taste as many items as possible during our week stay. The pool is beautiful. There were fresh plums to eat right off the trees through the grounds. Just unreal. Right down the road on property is Camp Sarika. Do not skip this! There is a chefs tasting menu every night that is unbelievable with so many different things. It pushes you to be adventurous which I love because everyone gets the same courses. That said, they were kind enough to make some adjustments for my wife and made special items just for her to account for things she couldn't eat. First class experience all around. I feel like you could stay here for months and not run out of new things to do between all of their hiking trails and private tours, but you have to check out their Via Ferrata experiences. So. Cool. There's no better way to appreciate the area than from as high as you can climb! One of the nice perks of staying at the Amangiri is exclusive access to a couple of unbelievable slot canyons near antelope canyon. The experience is so different because you are all by yourself and have plenty of time to snap pictures. All of the guides are great guys! I'm gushing but it's worth gushing about. This place deserves to be on your bucket list!

I recently visited Amangiri for three days, and the experience was truly unique and magical. Amangiri was built around a 160 million year old rock in Southern Utah, and if you are looking for a relaxing, quiet vacation, you've come to the right place! When you drive up to the resort, you get to drive through the canyon for a mile before you arrive at the resort located at the bottom of the canyon. We stayed in a Mesa View Suite, which has amazing views during sunset and sunrise. Each room has a private courtyard, perfect for breakfast , and a private terrace with a fire pit, perfect for evening hangouts in the room for for roasting s'mores. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner are included and all of the food I had a both the main restaurant and Camp Sarika were fantastic. If you get the chance, I highly recommend getting dinner at the chef's counter. Amangiri is the second Aman resort I've visited and what I love about staying at Aman resorts is that most of the activities you book are private, meaning, you rarely interact with other guests :) We went horseback riding around the property, went on a hot air balloon ride around the canyons, watched the sunset in the canyon, and had dinner at the chef's counter, all without interacting with any other guests. Though, we did meet some nice people at the pool. The spa was excellent. I have not had a massage for six months, I got two during my trip to make up for it :) Aman resorts take hospitality to a whole other level. One thing I noticed is that they remember your dietary preferences AND during every meal, they remembered that my partner likes sparkling water while I like still water. The devil really is in the details. On our last night at Amangiri, they filled our room with roses, rose petals, candles, chocolate dipped strawberries and set up a bubble bath while we were out at dinner. It was incredible. This was by far one of the most epic, memorable trips I've had in recent memory. 11/10. Highly recommend and will most definitely be back. I miss Amangiri already.

Very remote and incredibly relaxing. Did the salt water float which is incredibly relaxing if you meditate. Could feel all the stress of working 100 hours a week melt away and felt relaxed for the first time in a long time. It was my bday when I went and they made me a cheesecake. Incredibly hospitable staff and free food. They had buffet for lunch with bbq chicken, bison steak, meatballs and other stuff that I don't eat. I'm a carnivore. Their Ribeye is a monster steak and was incredibly delicious. Went mid February and had the place all to myself. Hardly saw any other guests. Not sure how busy it gets in the summer. Will check it out this August and let you know.

I had an absolutely amazing time at Amangiri. Friends have been to other Aman hotels in the past and had raved about them, but nothing could have prepared us for such an out-of-this-world experience! The resort is nestled into the desert and despite having been to Lake Powell and Page, Arizona before, I had not seen the resort. The rooms were incredible and fully outfitted with everything we could have needed. The gym was the perfect size and though I saw people in their frequently, it was never busy. I took advantage of their daily 8am group exercise class and took Pilates with Connie and Circuit Training and Yoga with Fernando. All three were awesome, small group classes. The food was one of the best parts. You could easily have stuck with healthier options (fruit, green smoothies, plenty of salads), but there were many indulgent dishes as well. Everything we ate was great. My group did of few excursion with Adventure Partners coordinated through Amangiri, including a Via Ferrata with Angie. We had a wonderful time and it was a very memorable part of the trip. We are already plotting a way to get back to this resort and/or other Aman properties!

What an amazing place! Came here to celebrate my 40th birthday! Service here is top notch and I would hope so if you are shelling out $4k a night! The staff here goes above and beyond your every need! The food was delicious. There wasn't anything I didn't like. We headed over to the camp for dinner one night and it was spectacular. Didn't use the gym but did book a spa service which was amazing!! Can't wait to go back!!

Not sure where to start: A life time experience in Utah for nature lovers. The trails are amazing. Brice, Antelope canyon and Horseshoe band next door. Horseback riding western style, @Patty and @Amy, you're the best instructors The pool .. and the food .. even with severe food allergy and strict diet - all taking care of. A bliss vacation. Glad we experienced AMANGIRI. We will come back!

All I can say is WOW. I could write an entire chapter book series on how amazing this place is but I will refrain. Amangiri truly is a once in a lifetime experience for so many reasons. I came last week with a group of 8 people and we stayed in the private Mesa home. Although the price is a bit steep, everything else makes up for it. The service at this resort is truly one of the best parts. I've never felt more comfortable and taken care of at a hotel in my entire life. The staff was constantly checking up on us while not being too overbearing. Our house was kept extremely clean because of the housekeeping and our fridge was constantly stocked with water, juice, coffee, etc. Even when we'd be at different parts of the resort the employees knew who we were and made it known that they wanted to give us the best treatment possible. Now onto the setting and scenery. Before coming here I didn't do much research so I didn't know what to expect. However, I was completely blown away by the beauty and serenity of the entire complex. The resort is basically located in the middle of a vast desert which makes for the most incredible views. The sunset and sunrise was always outstanding and there were several hiking trails right on the resort that we adventured around to. Our house had a private infinity pool which was amazing because it was a bit chilly some days and they kept it heated at about 86. The main pool at the resort is absolutely BREATHTAKING it looks like something you'd see in a travel advertisement. The gym is also extremely nice with complimentary yoga and Pilates classes on certain days. There is also a spa underneath with large sauna, steam room and cold plunge pool. The staff even gives you robes, slippers and hot tea is you desire. The only complaint (if I would even consider it a complaint) about the resort is the food. Overall the food was very very good! Some nights were amazing and some just average. Since we were there for a week we started to get sick of the same menu from the main pavilion but if you were only staying for a weekend it would be totally fine. The breakfast menu was probably my favorite- the bacon and breakfast potatoes are fantastic! As well as the gluten free overnight oats bowl. All in all this resort is jaw-dropping. It's definitely meant for a couple retreat but coming with a large group and staying in the Mesa home was an incredible experience. I absolutely loved this place and it was a dream come true to be able to experience it.

Amangiri is truly a blissful retreat. We just spent a few nights here, and came back feeling very calm and rested. Pros: Service: They have excellent service here. The ratio of staff to hotel guest is very high, as this resort only has 30 something rooms. Everything from housekeeping, to room service, to ordering by the pool is done with lightning speed and always with a smile. The staff knows all the guests and are very accommodating. We brought our three year old son with us, and they were so nice to include a bunch of milk in our mini fridge, and offered a toy upon check-in, which he loved. Pool toys were offered to him when we were at the pool, and a very good kids menu was available as well. Food: The menu has a lot of really great dishes. Our room fee included breakfast, lunch and dinner, and we didn't have a bad meal here. There's pretty good choices for in room dining, and even more choices if you go to their formal dining room. In-room dining was always brought within 30 minutes, and set up beautifully. I really do recommend their pancakes, American breakfast, ribeye and roasted chicken. Resort: this resort is carved into the mountains of a beautiful Utah desert. Even the drive into the resort past the gate is a magical one. The main pool is one of the most beautiful pools I've seen, and their spas are so lovely, each of them built into the environment seamlessly. The rooms are also very beautiful, each of them boasting a gorgeous view of the desert. The beds are comfortable, and the bathrooms are spacious. The patio area is very cute, it comes with a fire pit and they even have Smore's kit available for you if you'd like. Tips: - they do not operate on Utah time. I thought they'd be on Utah time when I checked in and wondered why my room wasn't ready yet lol. Navajo nation operates on their own time, and it coincides with the tours offered around Arizona so it works out very well. - ask for a Smore's kit to be delivered to your room to take advantage of the fire pit! - they can pack a meal for you if you're going hiking, they also offer two different hikes that are complimentary to nearby beautiful landscapes. - they also have complimentary classes such as Dreamcatcher weaving and different spa classes to take it advantage of. - noon is the best time to go to the pool, as most of the guests will be out hiking at this time. - while this resort was very good for my three-year-old, I wouldn't bring younger kids here, there's a lot of sharp and hard edges to their decor and furniture which may not be beneficial if you have a new walker on your hands. In fact, I would recommend Amangiri mostly for couples traveling together for very peaceful and romantic time. - amangiri is located only 25 min away from antelope canyon and they offer a triple canyon tour for a fee, email before arriving to set it up!

Soggy Bison Burger with bland taste. Burger lounge taste better than this.
    Jack W.

Food is mediocre. Soggy bison burger. Kobe burger taste very bland with no sauce inside. At least add some sauce inside. Burger taste dry. Bison burger was leaking blood soaked onto the buns. This place looks like mars, nothing special about the way it looks except the rooms. But at 2,500 a night, this place should at least have a night view. When it is dark, there are very few things to do because this place barely have any lights. The service is good but the food and the location is of poor taste. The pool looks very bland. Nothing special about it. Extremely dry here. I eat burgers and dessert every week. I expect a burger that taste better than burger lounge in California and dessert that taste better than Lady M. Instead I get to try some weird idea of rancheros huevos breakfast in taco shell and an odd distasteful raw tuna wrapped in fried seaweed. I do not doubt the quality of the fresh ingredients they use but the way the chef butcher the fresh ingredients is very annoying. How can they mess up a classic burger or breakfast? The lobster mac and cheese taste good, lobster is very fresh. Everything else including dessert does not taste good.

This is our 2nd Aman property stay. We loved Amandari in Ubd and expected no less from Amangiri especially since this is a much newer property. While the property and location lives up to the Aman reputation, services just did not meet expectation at the price one pays for such luxury accommodation. The staff is generally very friendly and courteous however there were hits and misses that I would not have expected from Aman properties. One less star because of the service. The dessert view we have from our suite is gorgeous and I am constantly amazed at the views we have at every corner of the property. Food at the restaurant was also quite good. I particularly like the Asian influence in the cooking. We also booked a Via Ferrata tour. It was so much fun and the scenery of the property was incredible!

The bed was extremely comfy. Do note that there is not much nearby, at all, so either bring everything you need with you, or be prepared to purchase it at the resort. This includes food, alcohol, etc. We only stayed for one night, so decided to eat at the resort restaurant at night. It was surprisingly nice! The menu was a mix of fusion offerings, along with American options. We got the Thai salad, lomo salado, shrimp, linguine, and creme brulee for dessert. We also got a few specialty drinks. I will say that the prices are quite high, so be prepared to pay a 5-star price for your meal. Overall, I would say the taste and quality of the meal was surprisingly good. It is your only option though, so keep that in mind. At night, we did a stargazing tour which was the highlight of our stay. The tour guide was super funny and engaging. He took us from the lobby to an outside area where we could sit and look up at the sky. He had a telescope which he focused on different planets and stars, and allowed us each a chance to go up and see it. It was a great excursion. I will say that it got super chilly, so be sure to bring layers. Overall, I really enjoyed our experience here & would definitely recommend it to others coming into the area.

Check-in felt a bit like standing in a slow car rental line. We waited about 15 minutes while a line formed behind us, and there was a form with disclaimers to sign before getting the room key. Our room was in Building 7. The rooms feel dated, and housekeeping seemed inconsistent. We had 2 bath towels, 2 makeup towels, and 1 hand towel, but no washcloths and no pool towels. The front desk said pool towels should be in the room, but there are none available at the pool itself. Our bathtub drain was clogged, so water pooled during showers, and one of the bed frames had something unpleasant on the fabric that clearly should have been cleaned. Amenities were also disappointing for a property charging a nightly resort fee. The hot tub jets were broken, the water wasn't warm, and it looked pretty dirty. The pools are not heated, so they were ice cold in April. Ironically, the hot tub appeared to finally start working the morning we checked out. Food options on site include the Driftwood Lounge, a breakfast deli, and the Rainbow Room for buffet and dinner (reservations required for dinner). The buffet was just okay -- next time I'd skip it and order an entrée instead. The hot & spicy wings at the lounge were decent. Overall, I gave it 3 stars because the staff were very kind and the views are fantastic. If we stayed again, we'd come with the expectation of enjoying the scenery rather than the amenities.

The lodge is very low key, and outdated. However the room was VERY clean. I booked thru booking.com…read more& upon arriving around 1030 @ night I could not find anyone to check me in. Called the number of "Tina" that was taped on wall & went back to downstairs apt #38 (as instructed on sheet, if no one answered) and after about 10 mins knocking, no answer...kept calling #, finally called booking 800# and a nice person showed up (not Tina) & checked us in (no pet fee!!! Love that) & the room, "rhinestone cowgirl" was very clean. Bed was very comfortable. I would book here again. Last night I was in Ogden at a name chain & it was a $h** hole. This place reminded me of the hotel in 3k to Graceland movie. If you want fluff & ammenities, pass this...but if you want a nice, clean, quiet sleep on the afordable side...this is it.
