It's an ok place. Definitely a motel vibe here. Would never have thought about staying but for the reviews. It was clean but just older. Our 2 queen bed room was just a studio. No closet even. Don't let the decent reviews fool you into this one. 1. Roaches. Found several in the room. We ended up emergency booking another hotel in the area. 2. Poor customer service. The receptionist can't/won't do anything regarding check-in and just tells you to check your booking.com messages (we booked through Priceline and they couldn't figure out or tell us anything). 3. Called their phone number and told them about our experience. Their explanation was that sometimes roaches crawl up from the sewer and enter the rooms, and its a problem all over Page. But not to worry! They assured me they aren't the dirty kind of roaches. I asked that they provide a refund and I have yet to hear back. Your better off just skipping this one. read more

We chose to stay at Page before we realised we could fit in a day trip to the Grand Canyon. As the YELP comments were so good for this place we decided to keep the booking and do the trip from Page. Thinking that the trip to the Grand Canyon would be interesting but coming back would be boring with the same scenery....we were wrong. The morning light and the afternoon light gave such a contrast it seemed like a different way. As for the accommodation, it was clean and comfortable. The shower not only worked but was a decent size. We stayed two nights and mainly used the fridge for our cold water. We filled our water bottles from the sink tap in the evening and had chilled water for our little adventures. I think we would have used the kitchen if we stayed longer. As I travel, I'm always looking for older yet updated motels as places to stay. I love the historical nature, the uniqueness of them, which chain hotels completely lack. This is how I found the Red Rock/Dam Motel. Tbh, I didn't realize that it was an Airbnb until I arrived. I'd never stayed in one before so this was my first experience, and boy, I couldn't be more impressed and pleased with the place. It's very obvious that a tremendous amount of money and thought was put into the total guest experience. Although I didn't make use of the community kitchen, it's existence due to the history of the building is something I've never encountered on my travels, making this place even more special to experience. The location is very close to many restaurants (I chose the Birdhouse!) and as a woman traveling alone, I felt very safe. And when a snow storm caused me to have to stay another night, they couldn't have been more accommodating to my needs, which under those circumstances, is something that will not be forgotten. The Dam Motel now has me as a fan for life and I most certainly will be back. read more

I can't add much that has already been reviewed. This is a really lovely and fun motel located in Page. Check in was a breeze, the room was clean and so comfy. I only stayed one night but would have stayed more. Parking is easy and there was a community kitchen that could be used. I really enjoyed my stay. Sign the book in the room. This motel is a group of apartment buildings converted into motels. The bonus is, you will get a full-size apartment. This includes separate bedrooms, a living room, a kitchen, and a patio with barbecue. You'll most likely be able to park right in front of your tiny house. Enter through the gate and through the small rock garden in front which also has a little patio seating area. Highly recommend staying here and if I'm in the area this will be my first choice. It's also easy walking distance to several good places to eat. read more

Loved our stay! This is a family owned business, so they were really kind. Even though we didn't have a chance to meet them. They were still able to accommodate us, since our check in was later than expected. (Keep in mind the office was closed, yet they still were able to help us out) The place was actually pretty spacious! I didn't expect anything, especially because of the word motel. The motels in California doesn't compare to this one. Came with a living room: has two couches, I believe one of them is a pull out bed as well; a tv, and coffee table. The kitchen is connected to the living room: has a full fridge, dish washer, utensils, but no pots and pans so if you need to cook just bring your own. There's two bedrooms which has nice closet space, but we only stayed one night so we didn't get to use the closet. The bed, pillows, and comforter is super comfortable... I kind of wished it was my bed. The bathroom provided towels and face/hand towels, extra toilet paper and toiletries for you to use. They also have a small front yard with chairs upfront or in the backyard there's a BBQ grill for all your grilling needs. Which I thought was pretty neat. Really felt at home with this place. The only thing we didn't like was that we found a cockroach in the kitchen, which we just ended up not wanting to be in the kitchen anymore. Best thing about this place is that it's close by to Safeway for your grocery needs or coffee or food as well. It's literally across the street. Walking distant is always a plus for us. All in all, great place to stay especially if you're here for the antelope canyon or horseshoe bend, or just in the area in general! read more

Red Rock Motel is fantastic! Andria was super accommodating to our family as we traveled cross country. This leg of our trip was from Amarillo to Page, AZ for a night of sleep before heading onto Zion National Park next day. We ended up hitting a nasty snow storm that delayed our check in by more than three hours, but Andria was completely understanding and allowed us to check in at our convenience. The booking was more than amazing, with a full kitchen, two baths, and three super comfy queen beds. The price was perfect, especially compared to neighboring hotels with less than half the same accommodations. We also woke up to see that we were offered a late checkout simply due to arriving so late which was super considerate. We plan on returning in the near future and highly recommend you do too! read more

The Red Rock Motel is in the "Old Quarter" area of Page, AZ on "The Street of Little Motels". Definitely out of the 1950s, this motel is a nice, reasonably-priced find and the people who run it are very nice. The rooms are clean and have been updated in the not-too-distant past. The Red Rock also handles (owns?) a few of the other motels on the street and we stayed in The Dam Motel (notice no "N" in Dam). The "Dam" is, of course, a reference to the Glen Canyon Dam which is nearby. It's actually down the street from the Red Rock. No one is at the desk until 4:00 PM. And your mobile phone will likely sync to Utah time (near-by), so it'll probably be 1 hour earlier than what you see. Just something to keep in mind. Our room was very clean and comfortable. The bathroom is a bit on the small side, but functional. Fridge and microwave in the room. We also had access to the communal kitchen which is well equipped and just a couple rooms away. Parking was directly in front of the room. Lots of decent restaurants are within walking distance. In Google maps, The Dam Motel shows as Lulu's, so at least the name has changed and possibly the ownership. Anyway, the room was quite satisfactory and a bargain. Fancy? Nope. But clean and comfortable? Yes! Good Wi-Fi connection. I debated going 5-star, but to be 5-star for me requires prefection. If I could, I'd give this place a 4.5. I would stay here again. read more

This is a great affordable find. The customer service was very friendly and the owner gave us lots of good tips on what to do in the area. The room itself had a kitchen area separate from the bedroom. It gave it a small apartment feel. Be sure to bring shampoo and conditioner as this isn't provided but again the value makes this totally a good score. read more

My five-year-old and I went to see my dad in Page this weekend. I decided to change it up and stayed at the Red Rock Motel instead at Dad's. Good call! Super cost-effective, our room was a suite with a spare bedroom (which my daughter loved!) and even though Red Rock Motel is in semi-historic buildings (Page isn't THAT old), the rooms are really nice, decorated with Lake Powell's beautiful surroundings in mind - and are within walking distance to just about everything in Page. Brady is awesome too! Because he grew up in Page, he and his wife Pam have all sorts of great suggestions on what to see and where to eat. I'm never staying at Dad's house again. This is the best little place! Especially for groups! So happy we found this hotel for all of our travels in the area. Having a kitchen and living area is sooo much easier! Especially when you are a vegan traveler needing to cook your own meals. Or anyone that is wanting to save money and not go out to eat for every meal. I can't rave about this motel enough! It was my first time in Page and it was incredible. Brady & Pam are so helpful and suggested places to eat and see. We had an amazing experience seeing the Horseshoe bend, antelope canyon, the lake, went on a helicopter tour, and ate at the Blue Buddha! The room had a kitchen so we were able to make dinner and breakfast there as well, a cute little living room for movie nights, everything was clean and tidy. DO NOT STAY at this hotel if you travel plans are a little uncertain. They will not check you in after 8pm or assist you in any way outside of their narrow times when the office is open. I specified "late arrival" in my booking and even noted the ETA (10 pm) and ended up having to sleep in a different hotel and not getting any refund for this horrible experience. What can be worse than paying for a hotel and not sleeping in there? This place thinks it is a freaking BANK but the truth is they are a hotel, and people's travel plans can change abruptly due to myriads of reasons. Thus, do yourself a favor and stay in a real hotel with 24/7 assistance. Else? Else, you might sleep on the sidewalk, literally, if you accidentally lock yourself out after 8pm. read more

Yes yes yes!!! The price was right and I saw good reviews so I decide on this motel over the many others in the area. So glad I did! The bed was very comfy (I don't know if that was a feather top or some other topper. But it was excellent) and the sheets so soft (it was hard to get out of bed). This was especially good as I injured my knee and spent quite a bit of time in bed. The 4 pillows seemed to be various levels of firmness, which, on purpose or not, makes for great sleep. The towels smelled good, the kind of good where you bury your nose and take a good sniff. There was a small fridge, a microwave, coffee maker, and a bottle opener (thank you!) They've even got a soda machine that only charges 75c for a can. The staff was very friendly. I love when locals give me tips about where I should go, and chat with me about local stuff, in this case about how Page came to be a town. The motel itself isn't perfect, there were a couple of carpet stains and some areas in the nooks and crannies that could use some patching, but nothing that would prevent me from feeling comfortable. I very much look forward to an opportunity to visit again when I'm in better condition to see a sunset at Horseshoe Bend and I will definitely book a room at the Red Rock when I return. read more

We checked in late afternoon. Brady welcomed us and sat us down, opened the Cascades book and explained all that Page had to offer. You know what that's worth? A lot to me. I mean, I got to see stuff that TripAdvisor nor Travelzoo even knows about. Pamela even looked up stuff on the internet I researched and they didn't know about. Customer service is ten stars! Nicest ppl. And it's idyllic too, watching them live their lives. I sat on the front porch as I was planning the rest of day. And I saw Pamela hang out with her brother Matt (owner of the motel across the street Lulu's Sleep Ezze Motel) and life over there is just nice and slow paced. The breeze.. the quality of time you get to spend with the children. Well, let's go back.. why was I sitting on the front porch? Because I didn't wanna be inside. It's dark.. and basic in there. Why is that? Well dearies, you are staying at a museum. You didn't know that did you? You see, the first settlers of Glen Canyon are the workers that worked on the dam. They built basic housing for these workers.. and guess where you are. That's right. Except, you have a toilet. They prolly didn't. So I think about it like that.. You wanna experience Page, AZ? Well, there ya go. You get to stay in the first buildings ever built in Page, AZ. =) I'd stay here again. read more

That got me: *One bedroom *Queen bed - best bed I've slept on in a hotel *Full kitchenette - some pans were dusty, just wash them off *Private patio with bbq The not so quick: The owner was incredibly helpful by giving me a map of the city and explained all the sights to see in Page. He even recommended I rush out to see the sunset at a sight in Wahweap which was excellent. This all happened after I paid. No sales tactics. When an owner goes the extra mile to make my stay I'm won over. I wish more hotel/motel owners would take a minute to go over some of the sights in their town with their genuine advice - that's something I appreciate. read more

We needed enough rooms for 8 people and the owner suggested we get 2 of the two bedroom units. They come with one bathroom, full kitchen and living room. Patios out front with patio furniture. Stayed at this Motel for the Balloon Regatta and it was Fantastic! The room was super clean, it had 2 beds, one in the main room and another in its own bedroom. The bathroom is freshly remodeled and everything was fresh. I got there Saturday afternoon and took a nap, seriously I straight sunk in that bed! I passed out for a couple hrs and did not want to wake up! This motel is walking distance to the "downtown" area so it makes it so convenient when going out for late night drinks or dinner. Everything in the rooms look to be updated and newer. I would recommend this place to anyone! read more

Best place in Page in my opinion. Small business ran by lovely people. They were able to accommodate our needs, booking a room for a second night last minute. Very comfy bed, better than my own at home! Great price too! While they don't offer free breakfast or some of the other amenities that larger motel/hotel companies do; they make up for it in great conversation and service. They do have free wifi, coffee makers in every room, fully stocked kitchenettes in some rooms and beautiful decor! Also, you can park your car in front of your room; no need to worry about it just look out your window! An absolutely awesome place to stay! Particularly for the price (45$ cash in the off-season for a 1 bedroom with a full kitchen). The outside is nothing fancy but after-all who really cares about that, the room had a small front lawn area with a picnic table and a BBQ. Kitchen was stocked with everything you would need and the bed was very comfortable. Only negative was that the hot water heater was off when we arrived, but 5 minutes after speaking to the owner he was in the room and fixed it right away. The owner also spent a good 15 minutes going over all the best things to do in town, including a great tip for sunset and viewpoints for photos of the dam. He helped direct us to Horseshoe Bend and gave his recommendations for food which were all great! Right in the middle of all the services you need as well. read more

Just checked out this morning after three day stay. Love this place! I slept so well every night for some reason. Bed and sheets super comfortable. We stayed in the apartment, room 100 on the corner of 8th and Elm. So charming, and clean. Only drawback was not knowing about maid service (we always appreciate daily maid service which we got here, just were never told) and also the plug in the bathroom didn't work. The owner, Pamela could not be nicer - what a great host! You can tell she cares. This place is on a historic street full of former housing for dam workers that is very well built and is now little motels. Right in the center of town and Safeway is a couple blocks away. My sister and I stayed here for a night while in Page. The rooms are great, well kept up and have beautiful updated furniture. The landscaping and outdoor decorating just adds to the charm of the motel. The owners run a very nice business and are super friendly and kind. When I had to fly home because something came up, they let me stay in my room two hours after checkout and even gave me a ride to the airport. I appreciated that and them! read more
