This motel is a group of apartment buildings converted into motels. The bonus is, you will get a full-size apartment. This includes separate bedrooms, a living room, a kitchen, and a patio with barbecue. You'll most likely be able to park right in front of your tiny house. Enter through the gate and through the small rock garden in front which also has a little patio seating area. Highly recommend staying here and if I'm in the area this will be my first choice. It's also easy walking distance to several good places to eat.

Loved our stay! This is a family owned business, so they were really kind. Even though we didn't have a chance to meet them. They were still able to accommodate us, since our check in was later than expected. (Keep in mind the office was closed, yet they still were able to help us out) The place was actually pretty spacious! I didn't expect anything, especially because of the word motel. The motels in California doesn't compare to this one. Came with a living room: has two couches, I believe one of them is a pull out bed as well; a tv, and coffee table. The kitchen is connected to the living room: has a full fridge, dish washer, utensils, but no pots and pans so if you need to cook just bring your own. There's two bedrooms which has nice closet space, but we only stayed one night so we didn't get to use the closet. The bed, pillows, and comforter is super comfortable... I kind of wished it was my bed. The bathroom provided towels and face/hand towels, extra toilet paper and toiletries for you to use. They also have a small front yard with chairs upfront or in the backyard there's a BBQ grill for all your grilling needs. Which I thought was pretty neat. Really felt at home with this place. The only thing we didn't like was that we found a cockroach in the kitchen, which we just ended up not wanting to be in the kitchen anymore. Best thing about this place is that it's close by to Safeway for your grocery needs or coffee or food as well. It's literally across the street. Walking distant is always a plus for us. All in all, great place to stay especially if you're here for the antelope canyon or horseshoe bend, or just in the area in general!

Love it :) $50 for one night on 12/27/2016, Christmas holiday when all other hotels being booked, saved my trip :) nice back yard with private parking, outdoor BBQ gear, chair and table both inside and outside the room, has clean freezer, microwave, toast, coffee machine, oven, electrical stove, full set of fork, spoon and other cooking tools, AC inside, clean bed and sheets, toilets. Overall, for its price, its perfect! Especially when I called other hotels they all booked full and only one hotel told me they have a 2 bed room for $346/night

This is the best little place! Especially for groups! So happy we found this hotel for all of our travels in the area. Having a kitchen and living area is sooo much easier! Especially when you are a vegan traveler needing to cook your own meals. Or anyone that is wanting to save money and not go out to eat for every meal. If they have availability don't even look anywhere else! The owners are super sweet too!

I can't rave about this motel enough! It was my first time in Page and it was incredible. Brady & Pam are so helpful and suggested places to eat and see. We had an amazing experience seeing the Horseshoe bend, antelope canyon, the lake, went on a helicopter tour, and ate at the Blue Buddha! The room had a kitchen so we were able to make dinner and breakfast there as well, a cute little living room for movie nights, everything was clean and tidy. They truly care about their motel and about their city. I can't wait to go back!

Amazing welcome from the owners and the cat

We called the morning of to check for availability, and Tony was incredibly helpful. Despite it being a busy holiday weekend, she was able to accommodate us and even provided a valet service to the marina, which made the whole process so easy. Compared to other options, B&T was the most affordable! Tony really went above and beyond to make sure we were prepared and safe. She walked us through all the essential equipment we would need for the day--including a waterproof bag, water bottles, and life jackets--and gave us a detailed map with some fantastic local pointers. She also took the time to give us a thorough tutorial on how to operate the jet ski, along with some great safety tips and tricks that really helped us feel confident on the water. Tony is such a pleasant, friendly person with a great sense of humor, and she made our day even better. We spent four hours on the water (from 12 PM to 4 PM), and although it was a busy holiday, Lake Powell is so massive that it never felt congested. The main canyon area she recommended was absolutely stunning, and since there were no kayaks around, we were really able to enjoy the speed of the jet ski. We had an amazing time and will definitely be back to rent from B&T Marine again!

He informed us that the boat would be delivered by 9:00 a.m., so we left for the marina. Unfortunately, the delivery driver, Ellory, arrived about 20 minutes late. While both Elijah and Ellory were courteous and pleasant to work with, we were extremely disappointed with the condition of the boat. The boat appeared very old and poorly maintained. The speedometer only worked intermittently, the steering wheel was sticky, and the steering alignment was noticeably off. Based on the condition of the boat, it did not meet our expectations. Although the staff members we interacted with were kind and professional, the quality and maintenance of the boat were disappointing. In the future, I would recommend inspecting the boat in person before heading to the marina.

At one point we were in the middle of the lake and the boat stalled out and would not start back up. After waiting 10 minutes we were able to start the boat up and get it back to the marina. Besides the boat not running properly, it was also filthy, ripped seats, screws on the ground, and equipment did not work. The next day we rented a boat from Stateline Marina and they were great. They went over safety and wind conditions. Their boat was clean and ran without any issues. And on top of that the price was better than Carl's Marine. They also were not surprised by our experience with Carl's Marine. They said they have heard may scary stories from customers who stated the boats were not running properly and even sinking! I'm just grateful we, especially our 9 and 3 year old children, made it back safely. I don't understand how this business is allowed to rent boats. Note: this business is not BBB accredited.

She said yes but the benefit of using them was they carried the boards down and up a steep hill. We were there on Saturday April 25th. So we rented two paddle boards and she warned us about the winds. It was like $155. She was nice so we went for it. We get to the site and are waiting around. They haven't even taken the boards off the truck, but we were fine waiting. Layla finally made it up the HILL and had 2 boards taken off the truck and laid on the ground. I asked if any of the MANY men who were there and carrying kayaks down, was going to carry them down. She said no, you carry them. And that hill was STEEP. I figured meh, okay. I was annoyed since we were told they'd be ready for us at the bottom. Layla carried my paddle. Once I saw the hill, I was even more annoyed but I already paid $155 plus $30 entry to the lake. When we got to the bottom, she mentioned when we got back I had to carry it back up. I said I'm not doing that. lol. She held my leash so I could climb on my board. Not an easy task where we were. The paddle boarding was rough but we knew that, the girls at the office warned us. 5 miles later we returned. I STRUGGLED getting off the board and trying to haul it up by myself, my body was shaking and I was visibly exhausted. A young man who worked for this place, WATCHED me struggle. Asked how it was, I said it sucked. He mentioned me carrying the board up that steep hill, while I was shaking from exhaustion and out of breath, and I said "I'm not doing that" and he replied with "why is it heavy?" I did carry my life jacket and paddle...but after that comment I REALLY didn't want to. Layla gave me a water at the top and said to take a breath, I was breathing very heavy. I'd say don't rent paddle boards. You will have to carry them up and down the hill and will get no assistance getting off the board either. But they did carry the kayaks and help those people who also paid like we did, in and out of the kayaks. So maybe rent those and not the paddle boards.

The day before our tour, Julia called to let us know strong headwinds were expected and asked if we wanted to adjust our time. We already had a different morning tour scheduled, and they were incredibly accommodating with our plans. At the launch site, we met our guide Logan, and we were lucky that it was just our family of four on this tour. Husband and I wore aqua shoes and my daughters opted to wear their Birkenstock sandals and go barefoot, which was fine if you're okay with getting red mud on them. Logan was friendly, patient, and extremely knowledgeable. I was a bit nervous since I'm a beginner kayaker, but he let us move at our own pace. It ended up being a great workout while still feeling peaceful and relaxing. The scenery was absolutely stunning. The canyon was quiet, beautiful, and not crowded at all. We paddled across Lake Powell and into the canyon, and the cool lake water felt amazing in the warm end-of-March weather (mid-80s). They provided life jackets, offered bottled water, and Logan even took photos of us both on the water and at the end of the canyon, which we really appreciated. He also shared helpful paddling tips along the way. The entire tour lasted about 2.5-3 hours and was a perfect mix of adventure and relaxation. Highly recommend for families and beginners looking for a scenic and well-guided kayaking experience!

Our group completed the kayak and hike which were very much worth it! We needed slight accommodations and Sid and John were reassuring and supportive for both my mom and I. This tour is really for everyone and I can't recommend this tour company and John enough. Because we traveled during off season, we had the entire lake and trail to ourselves. John left much time for us to take cool pictures and was a wealth of knowledge. He made sure to engage with each person in the group and was successful in getting the more shy individuals to step out of their comfort zones. John and Sid (the other employee) made this tour worth it. They provided awesome recommendations for things in the area and also future outdoor related activities in the U.S. Be sure to pack enough water. Remember you are in a kayak and your items will likely get soaked. Luckily they provide one water proof bag per kayak which can hold your phone and camera. If you feel the need to pack more, I recommend that you bring your own waterproof back pack. I opted to go barefoot in the kayak and wear shoes on the hike. You will have to walk through water to get on and off of the boat. Do not let your size and fitness level deter you from this tour. The team is incredibly accommodating and reassuring, making this the perfect tour for all. Highly recommend this tour and either Sid or John!

I think compared to many reviews, I feel fortunate that it could've been worse. The pros were we had a professional airline and military aircraft pilot who could fix and understand all the mechanical and electrical dilemmas we had, we rented a starlink from a guy in Page Az which made music and entertainment actually existent. That is a pro move. It was $144 for 5 days that was more than worth it. Starlink gets 6 stars. Their satellite tv setup was janky af and even the pilot couldn't get it to work because cables were literally missing. But that's fine, we're there for the friends, family, views and water. The "staterooms" were better than sleeping in a coffin but the mattresses were the next step up from a jail mattress. Yes. I've been to jail lol. There was a small mouse running about. But it was kinda of a cute little dude. We got stuck on shore, but I blame that on us not being professional houseboaters. We did contact them over radio and they came and got us out. So I give them props for that. I'm an outdoorsman and I like roughing it, so I was fine with a lot of what went down on this trip, but my wife... different story. If you go on this trip, your perception is key. Expect the worst and hope for the best. Make sure someone in your crew is a badass with mechanical stuff. Focus on disconnecting from creature comforts, and get a boat along with the houseboat and you will be better off. Lake Powell resort and marina houseboat Journey 62', you get 1 star. Just be honest on your website and say something like "you get what you get, good luck" and I will give you 5 stars. Just don't BS people. Not cool. Overall 2 stars

AVOID WAHWEAP MARINA -- WORST VACATION OF MY LIFE…read more We rented two houseboats here mid-July to the 24th. Ours, the Discovery XL, was a filthy, falling-apart wreck that should've been retired or burned years ago. Half-broken range, ripped canvas top, spiders and webs everywhere -- and it reeked like a sewage dump the second we boarded. We had a cleaning crew sent out before departure, and even they told us straight up: the boat had NOT been cleaned before it was rented to us. They did their best to clean the boat and make minor repairs in the one hour they had, but it wasn't enough. There was a raw sewage smell that blew through the A/C vents at random times for hours-- and we couldn't shut the A/C off in 100+ degree heat, so we were stuck breathing it in for the entire trip. Imagine trying to go to sleep and your stuck breathing in raw sewage. On top of that, every single sliding door on the boat is old and busted. The tracks are so warped that the doors are a struggle to open at all. The slider in the back has a broken lock, so it just slides open and shut on its own all day long wasting A/C and letting the heat in-- every door on this busted up boat needs to be replaced. Another employee told us the real problem: this company doesn't actually repair the houseboats. They slap a temporary fix on it and hope it holds. That's exactly what this boat felt like -- a floating liability/ porta-pottie. Josh, the manager, should be fired. Zero empathy, zero accountability. When we complained, he tried to blame US for not asking to switch boats -- even though we were told everything was booked and no one offered us that option. A manager who already knew the boat wasn't cleaned and blames the customer anyway has no business managing anything. Do yourself a favor and rent from Antelope Marina instead -- their boats look like they are actually maintained. Don't waste your time and money on a houseboat from this marina like we did, it was a vacation from hell.
