Great place!! Very well equipped and comfortable. You get a nicely furnished 2 bedroom apartment for less than most average motel rooms

We love having a full kitchen to cook in and a 2 bedroom apartment is cheaper than most hotel rooms.

Great Location, Helpful front desk staff, Free parking, and Beautiful outdoor Spaces…read more We booked 2 nights so we could explore Antelope Canyon, Horseshoe Bend, and Lake Powell. It's an older property, but it's well maintained. The bathrooms are older, but functional. If your Marriott status gets you free breakfast, Awesome. It's a hot buffet. For regular guests, it's $24.95 plus tax for a standard mix of eggs, bacon, biscuits, gravy, waffles, etc.... The pool and outdoor area has lots of areas to hang out.

Somewhere between the romance of the American road trip and the slow descent into madness, my…read moregirlfriend and I pulled into the Courtyard Marriott in Page, by lake Powell, road-weary, chasing the noble cause of my little brother's college graduation in Grand Junction, Colorado . Now, technically, this place flies the Marriott flag but let's be clear, it's owned by Marpalm out of Florida. And that detail starts to make a lot of sense the longer you're here. At first glance, the hotel gives off heavy Better Call Saul energy. Not the flashy parts the waiting room parts. The whole place has this outdated Southwest facade, like it peaked sometime around 1968 and collectively decided, "Yeah... we're good here." The rooms? Think your grandma's house in the desert if she hasn't updated a single thing since Nixon was in office. At first, it seemed harmless. A few moths fluttering lazily in the lobby like they paid for the room. The night auditor casually mentioned a "slight moth problem," the way someone might mention a chance of light rain. Fine. No big deal. But then... the hallway. Friends, this was not a "slight moth problem." This was a full-scale aerial assault. A biblical plague. World War Moth. They came at me with reckless abandon dive-bombing in the corridors, ricocheting off elevator walls like drunken fighter pilots. You don't walk to your room here, you run tactical maneuvers. I half expected someone to hand me a helmet and a flashlight. We clung to hope. Maybe, just maybe, the room would be a sanctuary. A place of peace. A refuge. It was not. The moths had beaten us there. Established dominance. Probably unpacked. Now look, after 16 hours on the road, a man doesn't ask for much. A bed. A shower. Maybe the ability to sleep without wondering if a winged intruder is going to kamikaze straight into his mouth at 2 a.m. So I have to ask: are we really too cheap for a couple bug zappers? Maybe dim the lights so the moths stop losing their damn minds? Because right now, this isn't hospitality--it's survival. Two stars. One for the bed, one for the story I'll be telling for the rest of my life.

This weekend we went to go stay in Page, Arizona. We had a few hikes planned in this area as there…read moreare several incredible features of the beautiful earth landscapes all around. We've stayed at the Hampton Inn before and automatically this was our first choice. The place was easy to find, with plenty of parking. There is diamond member only parking, and regular parking as well as a lovely pull up area if you need to unload. Two different options available for bringing in your luggage is right inside the doors and they could also be used to be carrying out your items. Please note that there are signs near the entrance to say not to smoke with a certain distance. The staff were kind and helpful, immediately greeting us when we came in. We had the same woman on the desk the entire trip, and she was very simple and supportive. Right next to the check-in lobby, to the right of it is a snack shop in case you need any. Again no vegan options or health conscious items. Check-in was simple and it was interesting to navigate the online prices versus the prices in person. Not much of a difference, but still some and they alter per day and season. The process was quick and easy. We got a room on the fourth floor and it had a really great view. It felt easy to get to the top and our room. The room was clean and ready, they came daily to switch things out and offer service. A few amenities available for toiletries and coffee in the room along with tv and WiFi. The beds are comfy and firm. The pillows are feather so they deflate quickly. We couldn't get a single outlet on the night stand or near the tv stand to work. Breakfast is included in the stay offering eggs, sausage, potatoes, waffles, bagels, muffins, cereal, toast, oatmeal, yogurt, drinks and condiments. You get to make the waffles yourself! Only vegan options were bread and butter. No non dairy milks offered. So heads up on that. I did try a few things and just to be honest, I didn't like the eggs, sausage, potatoes or oatmeal because they were too soggy. The eggs, potatoes and sausage are kept in a heater (understandably so) but however it's cooked in combo with the consistent steaming, they become very moist and unpleasant in texture. The eggs were in some water at the base. I'm sure for some people this is fine but also for many it's makes the food inedible.. which defeats free breakfast. Including having more vegan / planted based / non dairy options. The oatmeal was very slimy. I did enjoy toast with butter and jam, waffles and after dabbing the sausage dry, that too. The coffee was good, again no non dairy options for milk. Juices are good too, they aren't fresh or real.. combo of ingredients. Plenty of condiments were available. It was a nice set up. The staff maintained the space entirely. The hot tub and pool were great. A heated pool and the hot tub was near a large door that opens so the cool air came in as we sat in the hot water. It's located super close to food, INCREDIBLE LANDSCAPES and gas.

Don't let the decent reviews fool you into this one…read more 1. Roaches. Found several in the room. We ended up emergency booking another hotel in the area. 2. Poor customer service. The receptionist can't/won't do anything regarding check-in and just tells you to check your booking.com messages (we booked through Priceline and they couldn't figure out or tell us anything). 3. Called their phone number and told them about our experience. Their explanation was that sometimes roaches crawl up from the sewer and enter the rooms, and its a problem all over Page. But not to worry! They assured me they aren't the dirty kind of roaches. I asked that they provide a refund and I have yet to hear back. Your better off just skipping this one.

Thinking that the trip to the Grand Canyon would be interesting but coming back would be boring with the same scenery....we were wrong. The morning light and the afternoon light gave such a contrast it seemed like a different way. As for the accommodation, it was clean and comfortable. The shower not only worked but was a decent size. We stayed two nights and mainly used the fridge for our cold water. We filled our water bottles from the sink tap in the evening and had chilled water for our little adventures. I think we would have used the kitchen if we stayed longer. Pamela and Brady are excellent hosts and very attentive if you have a problem.

[Racial Discrimination at a Hotel?] Shocking Experience…read more We love road trips. During our stay at this Holiday Inn in Page, we experienced something truly unbelievable. At check-in, each room in our group presented two forms of ID (some of us with Chinese passports, others with Japanese passports and U.S. driver's licenses) and politely requested two key cards per room. The front desk manager, Doris, insisted that "hotel policy only allows one key per room." That sounded absurd--we've traveled the world for decades and never encountered such a rule. Then we noticed several non-Asian guests checking in after us, and each of them was given two key cards without question. To make it even more unbelievable, Doris showed us an empty key card box and claimed they were "out of cards." It was almost laughable. But after we called IHG customer service to verify, she suddenly returned with a full stack of key cards--as if by magic. That's when it became clear: we were being treated differently. We don't want to assume intent, but this experience strongly felt like discrimination against Asian or Asian-appearing guests. It was disappointing, disheartening, and frankly unacceptable--especially coming from a global brand like IHG. Still, after everything, my young daughter went to the front desk and sincerely thanked Doris for eventually giving us two key cards. That moment, while small, says a lot about how we choose to respond--with kindness and grace, even when disappointed.
