Bathroom door was warped and wouldn't close.
    Andrew A.

Satisfied overall, but expected a more from a Marriott. Rooms felt semi-modern: computer/phone plugs conveniently placed and quality TV. Unfortunately, the bathroom is dated and cheaply constructed. For one, the door was warped and wouldn't close. Lots of holes and Spackle repair jobs. If you bring a pet then some of the first floor rooms conveniently open to a plush grassy area. You can park very close to those rooms, but there's little shade. The pool was nice, but also very little shade spots. And all of the lay-down chairs had a painful metal bar down the middle. No breakfast is negative. Front Desk and housekeeping service were very friendly.

We frequently charge our car here while passing through Page. They have a Tesla super charger on the side of their parking lot so we are pretty familiar with the site. We finally booked a night stay here. It was so convenient that we were in the 1st floor and could walk out our back patio to unload our car. It's rustic and does seem dated but it's also cozy and has personality. There's a fire pit in the back and hot tub and heated pool. We bought the breakfast when we booked our room. Most breakfast items cost $15. Being celiac I wasn't able to order anything. They also had coffee in the morning and water sitting out. The ladies working breakfast were very friendly! Would recommend it if you need to charge your car and don't mind things a little dated.

Don't even bother staying here if you're traveling with an EV and need to charge at the Tesla Supercharger. Some laundry equipment company working at the hotel parked their truck with a long trailer blocking all of the chargers despite plenty of other places around they could've parked, even close to the building. When this was brought up, hotel staff said she didn't care and got rude. Unacceptable behaviors from both the hotel and this third party company.

If I could leave negative stars, I would. I am really disturbed that the front desk staff was rude to a friend of mine when she let them know there was a laundry supply truck blocking every single Tesla charger. This is an essential charging station and no matter anyone's personal opinions on Tesla, its drivers should not be put at risk for losing charge and the car charging while traveling. If Marriott is going to host EV chargers, they should adhere to the same customer service protocols they extend to any other guest or visitor on their property. Not only was the front desk receptionist rude to my friend, she began to yell when asked to bring out the manager. I will not be staying at this location, and will be telling everyone I know to find lodging somewhere else.

Holy shit that's fast for free hotel Wi-Fi!

"Always assume your guest is tired, cold and hungry, and act accordingly."―Navajo Saying My sister booked this place thru her points, so I didn't pay diddly. Here's a quick rundown: -Fast, friendly check-in -Blazingly fast fast Wi-Fi (see pic) -Pool and hot tub -Hard bed -Too Soft pillows -Loud AC -I liked how the vanity was separate from the bathroom; made getting ready very efficient. -Gift Shop/Commissary (avoid this tourist trap) -Water refill station -Lounge -Full-service restaurant, Peppers, located inside; didn't eat here so can't comment. This was a decent hotel but the hard bed and ridiculously soft pillows makes this place a soft pass from me. Luckily we were able to use my sister's points to book this place, otherwise it might've been 2-star review. It gets a tepidly mild thumbs up. 2.55*

This hotel is super quaint, cozy, and quiet during the Winter season. They beautifully decorated the hotel with Christmas decorations and have the fireplace lit all day which is a gorgeous site to see when walking through the lobby. They are currently practicing covid guidelines. Housekeeping is not daily so if you need anything, a call to the front desk is required. The on site restaurant Peppers was closed but they served to-go breakfast only, which was a bummer and plain food options. Our room had a great view of the mountains and pool which was open, along with the firepits outside.

[Racial Discrimination at a Hotel?] Shocking Experience…read more We love road trips. During our stay at this Holiday Inn in Page, we experienced something truly unbelievable. At check-in, each room in our group presented two forms of ID (some of us with Chinese passports, others with Japanese passports and U.S. driver's licenses) and politely requested two key cards per room. The front desk manager, Doris, insisted that "hotel policy only allows one key per room." That sounded absurd--we've traveled the world for decades and never encountered such a rule. Then we noticed several non-Asian guests checking in after us, and each of them was given two key cards without question. To make it even more unbelievable, Doris showed us an empty key card box and claimed they were "out of cards." It was almost laughable. But after we called IHG customer service to verify, she suddenly returned with a full stack of key cards--as if by magic. That's when it became clear: we were being treated differently. We don't want to assume intent, but this experience strongly felt like discrimination against Asian or Asian-appearing guests. It was disappointing, disheartening, and frankly unacceptable--especially coming from a global brand like IHG. Still, after everything, my young daughter went to the front desk and sincerely thanked Doris for eventually giving us two key cards. That moment, while small, says a lot about how we choose to respond--with kindness and grace, even when disappointed.

Holiday Inn is a tried and true brand for me and always lives up to expectations. This is a GREAT hotel choice for those visiting the Grand Canyon! Location is super convenient, less than 20 minutes from the Park but more affordable than staying inside the park itself if you want a hotel. The city doesn't have a ton to offer, but there are some food options nearby. PRIOR REVIEW STILL STANDS: I am a loyal fan of Holiday Inn, and am always happy with my experience at Holiday Inn Express & Suites. The rooms are fairly standard and no-fills, but they are always clean, spacious and meet my needs for a hotel room. I also enjoy the small continental breakfasts as they make mornings easier. This particular location was no exception. I am happy with my stay here and would recommend the hotel for anyone visiting the Grand Canyon. It's also really conveniently located, just 10-15 minutes outside of the park, but far enough away to give some flexibility with food and hotel options. Internet was alright, pretty "meh" quality, but it worked. This particular location was honestly super spacious. We ended up in the adults only wing, and our room was huge. We had a separate seating area with a TV, desk and couch that could pull out to become a bed. There was also a small little kitchen nook with a microwave, fridge, sink and coffeemaker. I don't have children so the extra space doesn't really matter much to me, however, if I did this would have been a really nice place to stay. Breakfast: Breakfast was the standard holiday inn express fare. It had pancakes, eggs, pastries, cereals, some fruits, yogurt, and either bacon or sausage. Seating was really limited, but you can always take your food back to your room. Parking: Parking seemed plentiful and was pretty close to the hotel. Parking is free.

But we paid for a King bed at Yavapai; we got two queens at the Holiday Inn. When our room was cleaned they took our towels and did not leave any new ones. The coffee maker spilled water all over the counter top. The second night we went to the restaurant and had to wait 35 minutes to be seated while looking at a half empty restaurant. The noise level was high, due to being able to hear everyone's door down the hall opening and closing. I would not stay there again!

Non-likes: - I don't like their business practice with the Wave daily permit system. Have to arrive near their county within a strict time limit to pay for an ethereal, marvelous lottery hiking opportunity that you are unlikely to win, - yet business hours of this Center are so short for a distant traveler driving up from southern AZ. With all the traffic and slow speed limits, one may not arrive at here, let alone the southern UT vicinity, in time. What if I as an out-of-towner far away from their other tourist center (in Page, AZ) have questions and only have a couple days of vacation left before I have to fly back home? What an expensive waste of a plane ticket. - And IF you win, you have to be at this center early next morning, when instead you could be out doing fun things during your already time-restricted vacation. My Angels Landing permit was for the next morning, but I really didn't want to miss the Wave. huge bummer - None of their chargers are for Tesla. Needed an adapter, and took many hours to charge up a Tesla.

The rooms are spotless, and they TV was nice with how you could pull it out from the wall to watch it from bed. The bathrooms were great as well! The room also had a big closet, a microwave, a refrigerator, a couch with an ottoman, and a desk. They did a great job with the layout with the room. The hot tub and pool were warm all night long! I think they keep it hot 24/7. I took a dip in the hot tub at around 9pm and it was nice. I just wish there was an option to turn off or dim the lights that way I could better see the stars above. They had an EV charger for my Tesla that was level two charging (48 amps) and it did its job very well. I think the hotel should indicate the spots as being for EV charging though because multiple non-EV cars were parked there anyways (thankfully the hotel wasn't super busy at the time so it turned out ok) and I'm hoping that was just because they weren't paying attention to it being for EV charging. The free breakfast was good. The cutlery they provide is a bit flimsy, but all the food they provided tasted good. It's not quite at the level of being a "breakfast restaurant" but given that it is free I was throughly satisfied with what they provided. I highly recommend this location!
