I heard it used to be really good, but I found it to be pretty greasy and un appealing. I have heard some of their sandwiches and things are pretty good, but I haven't tried them. The pizza is better than grabbing something from a fast food place for sure if you're looking for a quick bite of something to eat, it's fine because they sell it by the slice.

I can sing and dance with the window squeegee and no one is the wiser! Occasionally a business truck may pull up, and then I just put on my "business face", and exchange polite smiles- but when they leave- I start dancing again! Don't judge. You know you do this too! The gas is cheaper here, it's convenient, quiet and quick. Who cares if the pumps are ancient... They get my car juiced up again and back on the road. Pacific Pride is my friend!

The local UPS Drivers also use this station as its across the street from their home base. I've hit this station several times, usually when leaving the West Branch area, where we've often stayed at a friend's house on the lake, or sometimes on the way down from the UP. The location is convenient, there are plenty of pumps, adequate parking, and they serve fresh Coffee Beanery coffee here, not the cheap gas station variety that sucks. I like this location because it is an easy on/off access to the expressway, less than a mile back to the ramps. The store is clean, has the best coffee, and the cashiers are always friendly and ask about my trip, a good variety of snacks, plus they have some kitschy novelty souvenirs, including t-shirts, art and rustic Northern Michigan doodads. I think, even though it's a gas station/convenience store, that this is the place to stock up for your weekend trip if you're staying in the area. The bathrooms are even clean by gas station standards and it's open 24/7. There is a gas station across the street, however, I always stop here because it's bigger and cleaner, plus they have all those weird souvenirs that I think are amusing.

I often find that Tito's is hard to come by in smaller party stores, outside of big cities. Or if they do in fact carry it, it's usually marked up by a few dollars. My hubby went in and returned within minutes with a big 1.75 liter of Tito's at the price of $35.50. Not too bad at all, considering State minimum is $34.99. He also grabbed his trusty tall can of Diet Coke, which was ice cold. He said the employee was friendly and even asked him if he wanted a lottery ticket for that nights big game. He told the man I had already purchased one earlier from the "luckiest lottery retailer in Michigan". The employee said "that silver place??", and my husband nodded. He wished us good luck! They had our Tito's and the employee was nice. I'd definitely come back next time I'm here. Or if we drink all this Tito's before the days done!

I really wanted some, but opted out as I was traveling for work with someone in my care. They had a great selection of it though. There was snacks and drinks of all kinds. I ended up allowing them to choose a few snacks. I needed the caffeine anyway because of all the driving. The store inside was quite empty and quiet. The clerk at the counter was kind and quick with ringing up our items. We saw a few magazines on the counter by the door and apparently they are free, yes I asked! We saw a few cool cars within the store. Sadly I did not take any photos as I had limited battery at the time.

The receipt said the cashiers name was Robert but maybe that was another employee working at the same time!! Jerky is excellent!! I'm glad I talked to her first!!
