I like that Forward has a reward system now, even though it's pretty rudimentary. This is a small store and it's often quite busy and crowded. A lot of the popular items are often sold out for up to a week at a time. Forward could totally make money on expanding this location. I'd personally love to see more mini-mart type food items for sale here. Overall, it's got decent gas station level prices on most things except milk, which is at minimum a dollar more than anywhere else here. Gas prices are OK here, too. I'm still going to be a daily customer, but I'd love to see improvements.

My cashier was friendly. But when I tried to use some coupons Things changed when she had to call a coworker to help her. One of my coupons would not work. She did the right thing by looking at the product and reading the instructions on the coupon. Puzzled as to why it wouldn't work she ask her coworker for help. This man had a horrible attitude towards me! He said "if it won't work, we can't take it." He said it must be a wrong product. It in fact wasn't and the cashier agreed. Then he stated I was not allowed to use two coupons because the coupon itself stated only one can be used. This was false, and I kindly told him what it said. He looked down at it then said "well I can't take it". I didn't pressure him to take my coupons. In fact, I told him it's no problem if it won't take my coupon, I'll just take them back and be on my way. Not only was he rude the entire time, but he threw the coupons down on the belt when I asked for them back. There was a line of people behind me and he made me feel as if I was a big inconvenience. I had told him it was not a problem that the coupon wouldn't work, but he felt the need to treat me as if I were trying to scam them. He never apologized for the inconvenience, just walked away after throwing my coupons on the belt. Highly unprofessional. I will not be back.

I really wanted some, but opted out as I was traveling for work with someone in my care. They had a great selection of it though. There was snacks and drinks of all kinds. I ended up allowing them to choose a few snacks. I needed the caffeine anyway because of all the driving. The store inside was quite empty and quiet. The clerk at the counter was kind and quick with ringing up our items. We saw a few magazines on the counter by the door and apparently they are free, yes I asked! We saw a few cool cars within the store. Sadly I did not take any photos as I had limited battery at the time.

It's clean, which is obviously more difficult to maintain when it's larger but somehow they manage to keep it tidy, including the bathrooms There are so many goodies inside! From Mackinac Island fudge, to F'real milkshake/smoothie machine, to ice cream (which was our main purpose for the visit) This is one of those places where the smallest ice cream is 3 scoops of deliciousness. What I really appreciated was the courtesy of the employee who put on the first scoop and asked if I wanted the other 2 scoops, since it was for my child. I appreciated the kindness of the staff and they all seemed to be in good spirits during our visit. Anyway, I quickly agreed, knowing full well she would be sharing with me. The "Pothole" ice cream was heavenly and I think the generous portions make it taste better. It's really affordable too. I think $1.99 for the small? Regardless, it was with it for the memories. I often find that Tito's is hard to come by in smaller party stores, outside of big cities. Or if they do in fact carry it, it's usually marked up by a few dollars. My hubby went in and returned within minutes with a big 1.75 liter of Tito's at the price of $35.50. Not too bad at all, considering State minimum is $34.99. He also grabbed his trusty tall can of Diet Coke, which was ice cold. He said the employee was friendly and even asked him if he wanted a lottery ticket for that nights big game. He told the man I had already purchased one earlier from the "luckiest lottery retailer in Michigan". The employee said "that silver place??", and my husband nodded. He wished us good luck!
