I visited his store today because I had a 1963 Ford Fairlane trunk lock that wasn't working. I…read morethought I had little chance of getting this repaired and would need to spend months trying to source a replacement part. He was able to release the existing cylinder, remove the damaged tumblers, and return me something that I could reinstall on my classic 63 Fairlane. He did this all in about 10 minutes, and was super reasonable with what he charged me. I'll definitely use him for any future locksmith needs.

I got a spare uncut key from my dealer. I went to casper's and expected to have no problems. Before…read morehe starts he says that its 50 bucks upfront and that it might not work...I trusted that he would be able to do it so I paid. He went out and tried it and it wouldnt program. He gave excuses like it could be because of my car battery being too weak or that my stereo wasnt the original one from the car. He then went and put my original key in a machine and then put the dealer key in, he expected it to have a different reading, IT DIDNT, they matched exactly. He then tried a different computer and that one didnt work with making the copy either. Now, out 50 bucks he says he has other honda keys and that he would use one of those and make a new one for me for 80 more (needing a spare I agreed). Miraculously it worked (who would have thunk it, when hes able to charge extra it works and hes able to complete the job). I would go elsewhere for a key. I feel like he ripped me off just to sell me one of his. To make matters worse I saw a card on his counter from the same key supplier my dealer used...So I feel like everything he was saying about it being the wrong key is bull (especially after his own machine said the two matched)!.

The locksmith service was the best I've ever experienced. They're so professional and really care…read moreabout their customers. Joe expeditiously handled my lock changes, and solved all other security concerns that I had after moving into my new home. I "highly" recommend this company!

BUYERS BEWARE!!! HIGHLY UNRECOMMENDED!!…read more I called this morning and set an appointment. The buisness location doesn't actually exist, on maps it says 217 SE 1st Ave, they just borrow Iron Legion's parking lot and work out of their van!! I was looking to have a new key/key-fob combo cut and programmed for my sister in laws new car, which only came with 1 key and no fob. I bought the blank one/key fob online. I called and set up an appointment, and the price was $100. After 2 and a half hours, the technician could not get the job done. He said his key cutting machine was not functioning properly. He said the key fob was programmed, however there was no "immobilizer" (meaning chip), so I would just need to pay another locksmith to cut the key only and I would be good to go. He said it would be like $15. He said he could charge me just $75 for programming the key, instead of $100, since his key cutting machine was not cutting properly. Throughout the process, he even called his manager and the company paid for a "key code", at no charge to me, to try to get it right, but it would not work. His manager was talking to him on the phone, told him to take her off speaker phone, and he told me that she told him NOT to provide me with the key code that they had to pay for!! Chase, the technician, Greta kid, didn't think that was right, so he gave me the code anyway. He referred me to Ray's Locksmith. So I go down there, I find out there IS an immobilizer, so I end up having to pay them to take care of it all!! They said the key code that they gave me wasn't right for the key type anyway, probably why he couldn't get it done. Rays got the job done but I had to pay for the work they did. They gave me a break and only charged me for the key programming, only $90 total. So I called "Be Secure" back, because all they did was program the key fob, and I shouldn't have been charged $75 for that. I asked to speak with a manager! I'll be demanding a full refund. We'll see if they call me back!! PS the technician, Chase, was great!! He was doing everything in his power, it's not his fault his machinery wasn't working right. Also the dispatcher, Danielle, was awesome! But these people owe me a refund. We'll see if they call me back! HIGHLY UNRECOMMENDED!! Go to Rays Locksmith, been in business in Ocala for years! Im all good to go now! Should have gone there in the first place. ****UPDATE**** Dana, the manager called me back. I explained the only thing that got programmed was the key fob itself and that I just had to pay Ray's $90 to get the job done. I requested a full refund, and she did refund my $75. She apologized and said this type of thing never happens. So take that for what it's worth, for her being present and not fighting me when it comes to a full refund I lll bump them from 1 star to 2 stars. Still, avoid the headache...
