We needed key replacement for lost car keys. I called around to other locksmiths and was alarmed at the high estimates I received., even the Subaru dealer in Gainesville, shockingly high. We had gone to Mobile Locksmith previously but never for a service call at home. I spoke with Jacob who arrived early and got to work right away. He made 2 keys for my vehicle, programmed them in about 30 minutes. Jacob was friendly, professional, and had all the tools to cut new keys for our car. The price they charged was way below any other quotes I received. And was kind enough to offer to reprogram my old car keys for free should I find them! Was trying to program new remotes today. Late on Saturday and got stuck in program mode. It locked the ignition. Called the Mobile Locksmith and James had Marcus call me to find out what happened. Marcus walked me through getting the ignition out of program mode so I could start the car and get home. He also sent me a link to try and program the two new remotes I purchased from Amazon. I live in Texas. My son goes to school in Gainesville. He locked his keys in the trunk of his 2020 Toyota Camry, which has no folding seats. And while roadside assistance from our insurance company got him into the car via one of the doors, they couldn't disable the alarm, and therefore, son couldn't pop the trunk as that button is disabled until the alarm is turned off.... with the key, which was in the trunk. You see where this is going. Back at square one, and 1000 miles away, I Googled locksmiths in Gainesville and called these fine folks after reading some good reviews. Spoke with Marcus, with whom I had a little communication breakdown at first, but once he realized what I was talking about, he apologized profusely and we had a nice little laugh about it. Son called and spoke with Marcus ten minutes later to make arrangements. Ten minutes after that, Mobile Locksmith was there to help. Five minutes after THAT, son has keys in hand. Son told me that the "dude was really cool". Even went through the trouble of explaining to him how the whole process works. Well worth the $60. Jacob is the man. He rekeyed all of our apartment doors and installed new hardware for a back storage room in no time at all. I was locked out of my apartment on 13th and University and had to get to work in 1 hour. My leasing office was being a total pain, basically saying I was on my own because they couldn't find the spare key they keep on hand for each apartment...lame. I called these guys and they said they'd be over as soon as possible, but it could take up to an hour to get a guy out to me since they were all busy at the moment - I told them I had to get to work soon, but I would wait around until they could open the lock. 15 minutes later, someone was at my door, picking the lock open, and resetting it with a new key. Two incredibly nice guys showed up, got my car unlocked but then we realized there was another step because I had locked my keys in my trunk. Great people, Great experience. I would use them again and recommend them to others. Googled Locksmiths and the Mobile Locksmith popped right out. I called them at Noon and they were very considerate & courteous. I needed to have my locks re-keyed and re-installed right side up. As it is, I have four locks with four different keys of which two of the locks were installed upside down. They reviewed their schedule and were able to make an appointment for me in 1.5 hours. Their technician will call me when he finishes his current job and is on his way which turned out to be much sooner than predicted. As I said before, excellent people, excellent work. I've used these guys a bunch of times both for the house I own (after contractors were done remodeling, after we switched pet sitters) and at rentals (move-in, security problems). They are consistently reliable, fast, personable, and reasonably priced. They come up with great ideas for security, for instance when I was renting an old house with a back door that had a lock too old to be rekeyed, the locksmith jammed the lock to keep it from being picked.
