BUYERS BEWARE!!! HIGHLY UNRECOMMENDED!! I called this morning and set an appointment. The buisness location doesn't actually exist, on maps it says 217 SE 1st Ave, they just borrow Iron Legion's parking lot and work out of their van!! I was looking to have a new key/key-fob combo cut and programmed for my sister in laws new car, which only came with 1 key and no fob. I bought the blank one/key fob online. I called and set up an appointment, and the price was $100. After 2 and a half hours, the technician could not get the job done. He said his key cutting machine was not functioning properly. He said the key fob was programmed, however there was no "immobilizer" (meaning chip), so I would just need to pay another locksmith to cut the key only and I would be good to go. He said it would be like $15. He said he could charge me just $75 for programming the key, instead of $100, since his key cutting machine was not cutting properly. Throughout the process, he even called his manager and the company paid for a "key code", at no charge to me, to try to get it right, but it would not work. His manager was talking to him on the phone, told him to take her off speaker phone, and he told me that she told him NOT to provide me with the key code that they had to pay for!! Chase, the technician, Greta kid, didn't think that was right, so he gave me the code anyway. He referred me to Ray's Locksmith. So I go down there, I find out there IS an immobilizer, so I end up having to pay them to take care of it all!! They said the key code that they gave me wasn't right for the key type anyway, probably why he couldn't get it done. Rays got the job done but I had to pay for the work they did. They gave me a break and only charged me for the key programming, only $90 total. So I called "Be Secure" back, because all they did was program the key fob, and I shouldn't have been charged $75 for that. I asked to speak with a manager! I'll be demanding a full refund. We'll see if they call me back!! PS the technician, Chase, was great!! He was doing everything in his power, it's not his fault his machinery wasn't working right. Also the dispatcher, Danielle, was awesome! But these people owe me a refund. We'll see if they call me back! HIGHLY UNRECOMMENDED!! Go to Rays Locksmith, been in business in Ocala for years! Im all good to go now! Should have gone there in the first place. ****UPDATE**** Dana, the manager called me back. I explained the only thing that got programmed was the key fob itself and that I just had to pay Ray's $90 to get the job done. I requested a full refund, and she did refund my $75. She apologized and said this type of thing never happens. So take that for what it's worth, for her being present and not fighting me when it comes to a full refund I lll bump them from 1 star to 2 stars. Still, avoid the headache... read more

I called at 8am when the business opened The receptionist said the tech would be calling me shortly. At 8:20 I had not received a phone call yet so I called back and the receptionist said she would speak to the tech and he called me back at 8:23 and said he would be there at 9 AM more time passes and it's now 9:07 and I called the receptionist back asking where the tech is she calls him while I'm on the phone and says that he's less than three minutes away. I go on to express the urgency of the fact that I have a small child With me and i needed to use the restroom. Had she told me it was going to take over an hour to receive a service i have used several times i would've called another company. She had the nerve to ask me when i called back the first time why didn't i cancel the request. I responded that i had already been waiting and wouldn't want to start another wait time with another company and instead of criticizing me for why i chose to wait with a company i have used several times in the past, she should be criticizing the tech for his tardiness. She claimed she was just asking a question but this was obviously riddled with a condescending tone. Some how she completely overlooked the fact that had she given an estimated wait time the first call i made i would have made a better informed decision since all of a sudden there were appointments made the night before. She decided she didn't like being criticized and tried to cancel my service that i had already waited 1 hr and 10 minutes for. I really like the tech Gary who was not the tech this time but this was absolutely the worst experience I've had with this company. read more

Be sure even sent me a text after I called which included a picture of the technician so I knew who to expect which as a single female really made me feel very comfortable since it was night time when I used their services. I had called and received quotes from four different locksmiths in my area when I had figured out I'd lost the keys my 2017 vehicle. I ordered my key and when I called back the locksmiths all I'm at higher quotes except for Be secure. They had a technician at my house within an hour and a half and they sent above level personality serviceman, Randy Rucker. He made my $300 mistake much more bearable. This company advertises as a safe locksmith company BUT according to the receptionist, they do NOT do safes for any reason. Bunch of false advertising if you ask me. If I want someone to work on my safe, and they come up as they work on safes, they will LIE about doing safe work. I cannot thank this company enough!! Not only did I lock myself out of my car, I completely lost my keys over 40 miles away from home. They not only got me into my car, they made me a brand new key so I could make it home safely!! It was past their closing time & they still came to help! I highly recommend this Be secure!! The only person I've been able to find in Ocala Florida and dunnellon Inverness homosassa that can be able to do a key you just have to buy it online and then after you get the key he'll come out and charge you like $200 to $300 to do it but other than that yes he's a good guy and he knows what the fuck he's doing read more
