The gelato was creamy and light, so it delivered the flavor but not too heavy that sat in stomach. We ordered the award winning flavor - Mandorla Affogato (a twist of Affogato) which has bits of caramelized almond within the creamy vanilla background. I didn't get a strong espresso flavor as it would have, but the ratio of almond bits and gelato was just right - occasionally crunchiness hidden within the creaminess of gelato. The second flavor we ordered was the poached strawberry with balsamic vinegar. The acidity from balsamic vinegar and strawberry was muted yet complimented the gelato base. It was not too sweet, yet there's a hint of the balsamic vinegar and strawberry. We were too busy getting into the gelato before taking a picture, but check out this place if you are nearby. We got lucky because after we waited to order, there was a huge line behind us. They have a variety of ice cream flavors plus other items on their menu like cakes and teas. The staff was very patient with us as my sister wanted to order a milkshake which is different in the States compared to Australia. My sister wanted to make sure that what she expected in a milkshake would be understood and reciprocated to the staff. Even though they don't normally make a milkshake like the States do, they did their best. I enjoyed my ice cream and it was perfect to end the night.

Usually, I would try one of their many tantalising experimental flavours that'll make your tastebuds dance. I stuck with an oldie but a goodie.. choc orange. It was without a doubt the absolute BEST choc orange ice cream I have ever had. The chocolate was not too dark and not too sweet, and the orange had a depth of flavour that complimented the choc perfectly. The waffle cone was delightfully crisp. The only problem is that if it's available next time I go, I probably won't have something different. Not a bad problem to have really!

They'll have about 20+ flavors in the case that you can order regular scoops of. But if you want the gelato flower, you have to pick your flavor(s) out of a pre-set menu of less than 10 flavors. Their gelato is very creamy, and they do have a bunch of different flavors like black sesame and young coconut! i-Creamy easily served me the prettiest looking gelato I've ever had, but there's definitely better and cheaper gelato places out there in Sydney. If you're a foodie looking for a good picture, this is definitely the place to visit (they also offer an impressive looking 9-scoop gelato platter!).

There was something so sweet & simple about that. I wish you would see that more in the states. The gelato flavors change what seems like every day or every few days. I came here a few times during my trip and every time there were new specialty flavors on the board. Overall, most of the gelato flavors were too sweet for my liking but I was able to find a few that were palatable - bounty being one of them. The only reason I give it three stars is because of that, most flavors were too sweet. If that's your thing then you may love this place. I love that they stay open really late as well. In a city where most stuff closes early compared to what I'm used to, I did appreciate being able to get late night gelato especially because I love ice cream!

Patagonia South American Ice Cream in Coogie, serves an extraordinary number of ice cream flavours and after much debate with my tastebuds, I decided on a thick shake with a mix of pana cotta, Snickers and Mars ice creams, the result was a delicious blend of creamy sludge. I think think shakes which could burst a rib from suction and this shake was thick, there must have been more than four scoops overall. The ice cream of South America has a different texture to what Australia considers traditional ice cream, it sits somewhere between ice cream & gelato, I assume that water replaces some of the milk quantity in the recipe. I personally prefer creamy milky icecream to the gelato style, but none the less this was very good.
