There are plenty of loaves of fresh bread to take away for a picnic too. If you're after a sweetener, I'd highly recommend the gingerbread men (they've got the texture perfect - the best crunch/chew ratio I've ever tasted!). There are also huge wedges of caramel slice (they could be shared between about three or four people), packets of cookies, coconut slice and chocolate brownies. The English was reasonably priced but pretty basic and unfortunately did not feature the obligatory black pudding. Crepe was tasty and light. Located on the walkway to the station, the cafe has some indoor and outdoor seating, or if it's particularly nice you can sit on the grassy space. Recommend trying a crepe. Keep the coffee regular size to increase your chances of a reasonable strength brew.
