Lemon crepes
Mark M.

Cool little spot out west. My dad and I came out on a whim, and was pleasantly pleased with the food and service. First off was the cup of soup. I had chicken vegetable with rice, and it was warm, tasty. We've been here twice now and both Sarah and Angie were great. Definitely try the skirt steak and eggs, and a favorite of mine were the lemon crepes.

All the stars because our server, Michelle, was the friendliest, kindest server. She took the time to talk to us and comment on the kids. She made our kiddos Mickey and Minnie pancakes extra special and brought out sprinkles that they could decorate their pancakes with. I ordered the Cinnamon Swirl French Toast with cream cheese butter. It was tasty though somewhat basic. My "over-medium" eggs and bacon were both cooked perfectly. Left wishing we had a Michelle back in Texas!

Patty melt

Michelle is that girl she was the best part about the experience the food was amazing she had the best attitude and had great recommendations the pancakes are so perfect and fluffy and the patty melt was perfect and greasy and cheesy highly recommend this spot If your in town

Better than last visit though there was a slight stench of something moist in the air. Not sure if sewer, but food was good. Server was on point for most part except when asking for take out containers; took a bit. Water guy didn't speak though he spoke to other tables. The female cashier didn't say anything until she swiped my debit card and asked if I wanted to leave a tip. No hi, no thank u which means last time patronizing this spot.

We ordered the omelette and breakfast sandwich and enjoyed the breakfast sandwich the most. It was loaded with turkey bacon and cooked nicely. The omelette was alright while the potatoes carried the meal. The pancakes were too crispy on the outside and not just on the edges so it gave it a weird dry texture. We didn't finish those. But I'd return any day for a breakfast sandwich. It was also really hot inside the restaurant. Idk if it was bc it was early morning but it was almost unbearable.

I had been attempting to visit Maple N Jams Cafe during the family's annual day after Thanksgiving brunch, but I'm glad I wait because we have a party of eight, this location doesn't take reservations, and there's definitely a 20-minute wait. The waitresses are super-friendly and knows the local return visitors.  The hubby had the buttermilk pancakes with a build your own omelette, a healthy side of hashbrowns and pancakes.  His omelette included chicken, chorizo, mushrooms and jalapenos.  I was a little adventurous and got the House Skillet and Stuffed Strawberry French Toast. Well maybe I was too adventurous because the french toast had an option of using glazed strawberries and usually that is too sticky and thick with cornstarch and I'm not a fan, but without it, the french toast is pretty dry.  That's okay, I took them home and used some authentic strawberry syrup which made this dish so much better.  The skillet had a great savory flavor too, the eggs were fluffy and the all the ingredients melded so well together!  This restaurant definitely has something going here! :-)

The food was as amazing as other Yelpers have indicated. The ambience is great for breakfast or lunch and the service is awesome. In fact, the service is the reason for my 5 stars. The food came out cold and I had to send the potatoes back twice however, our server was on top of her game (Vickie)! My wife had the banana foster French toast. The description was correct when it described this as decadent. Me on the other hand, my breakfast was basic (personal choice) eggs, house potatoes and sausage. Hmmm, the sausage was better than normal and Vickie did not mislead me by recommending the sausage. You should not leave this place hungry because the portions are great! They have a wide variety of breakfast and lunch dishes to explore. This was a great breakfast before heading home! Merry Christmas!

service was great and very fast, vicki was personable and friendly. i kinda messed up the experience for myself because i didn't read the menu right and got pecans when i hate them:( other than that it was okay. the crepes were okay too. it's a good/alright place, nothing too crazy

Great family owned breakfast and lunch spot. Our family has had quite a few of the menu items for both breakfast and lunch. If you're in the area I highly recommended stopping in.

It's about $12 for a burrito. Menu has a good amount to choose from. I got the Vegetariano Burrito. This has beans, cheese which I left off, lettuce, rice, and tomatoes. Filling. We arrived around 4 pm and there was about a 25 minute wait. It is cozy so there were people waiting outside. The decor is more modern than traditional. They have a bar and TVs. Staff are warm and friendly and our server was Dulce. It was a busy day yet she would periodically check in to see how we were doing. We ordered the table side guacamole. It was made fresh at our table and hubby added a little more salt to it. We were also served a small bowl of salsa. The chips are warm and fresh. Hubby ordered the combo fajitas and a strawberry margarita. I ordered the steak enchiladas rojas and a pina colada. Everything was seasoned well and we enjoyed our meals. Kudos to the bartender for making great drinks!

I got the Fish Dinner Tacos ($25), and my husband got Flautas de Papa ($18). I was eyeballing their Pozole or Menudo but didn't really want to pay $22 for a bowl of soup. Everything on the menu just felt too expensive, especially for being in a casual atmosphere outside the city. Quesadilla La Reina del Sur has a plethora of vegan tacos you can get for like $4 each. I was in the mood for dessert, but even something as simple as 2 cookies with milk would be $24, so we went elsewhere. The food was fine, and the service was fairly attentive, but nothing blew me out of the water for these prices. They also added a 3.5% fee to the bill.

I was really surprised by this. Both of our dishes were extremely light on any seasoning. I know it's meant to keep the rift raft out but it also kept people like me out. I have this place two chances and got a burger both times. The food was not good and for the prices they charge it was insanity. In that location you can't charge $47 for seafood and with low volume you're going to have high food waste. Location is so important and you're tucked away next to a nursing home and shawarma place. Francesca is successful because the brand, the amazing food and the non mandatory tip. People talked, nobody listened. I feel like Nick wanted to be more about "his community" and "his staff" more than about himself. And that's a failure we see in a lot of episodes of Hell's Kitchen and restaurant impossible. When the ship is sinking you need to take drastic steps to stay afloat like fire the lazy fucks, hire real cooks and not illegals who can't cook a basic cheese burger, advertise deals and specials nonstop on Facebook and neighboring city pages. Shit, give a "relaunch" day to let residents try the menu at discounted rates. There's a beautiful bar but I never saw a wristband deal or bears game cookout. I'd definitely go there with a group to drink outside but never heard anything about it and it was probably $9 for a white claw knowing their prices. But who knows it was never advertised. Service was crap both times. There were 2 tables and the black servers sat at a booth on their phone. They could be cleaning or advertising on their own social media but nah. Just milk off the owner like a lot of shitty employees do.

My sister's banana foster French toast was the best thing I tasted, so kudos to the cook for that dish. Otherwise, everything else we felt was just average and the prices were above average. My son's strawberry lemonade was $6, and it was fountain lemonade with a strawberry puree syrup added to the glass.
