My son and I were looking for a new place for brunch, and we decided to come here. It is located in a strip mall and has ample parking. The diner is quaint and has lovely decor. Staff is friendly and welcoming. We both ordered their waffle and eggs entree, which comes with bacon or sausage links. We both chose bacon. Overall, the food is good, and so are the portions. Their waffles are crispy, which we both liked. Their syrup is a little too sweet for us, but it was good. And our coffee was always replenished. read more

Today the second time I have breakfast at this restaurant. Which is a tiny restaurant in a strip mall. 2 guys working in the kitchen, and a female working in front. Which I have to say the only place that serves Whip Cream and Chocolate syrup with chocolate milk, or at least she asked me. Pancakes are fluffy, and plenty of options for breakfast and lunch, as they are open every day from 7 am to 3 pm. read more

Service is always amazing. My first time here was amazing, good amount of food for a good price. Always kept my coffee hot and full. I got the bacon waffle, scrambled eggs, and a side of sausage links. The links are perfect, eggs were a little weird, bacon waffle was splendid. My friend got a crepe and that was delicious! This is a great breakfast diner! I stopped in between visiting estate sales one weekend as Yelpers seemed to recommend them. Service was prompt and friendly. Our server came back a few times to top off coffee, which is nice because I drink a lot of it. My omelette was cooked perfectly, the food overall was solid and what you'd expect from a good diner/breakfast restaurant. If I'm ever back around this way I'll stop in again! read more

A strip mall find... a hidden Gem tucked away towards the corner so keep your eye open for it because you don't want to miss it . Walk in and be greeted with a warm smile . Stopped here passing through on a road trip. Amazing service, very friendly and attentive staff! And the food was delicious. Since finding Dalia's a few years ago (I live about 3 blocks away) it has become my go-to for breakfast or lunch. The prices are comparable with most others but the difference is the quality and quantity you get for your cash. I have referred or brought quite a few people here for the first time and every one of them that I know are still coming here. One example I use is this: A 5-egg puffy omelet with hash browns that comes with 2 large pancakes. I usually eat half the omelet and box half and also box the pancakes to take home. In total, i get 3 breakfasts for $11.99. They have an extensive menu and all is very good. Also, for lunch their burgers are so large that, again, half goes home for the next day. The ladies that own and run the diner are family and are very attentive. Your coffee cup never gets empty. If you go there, one item worth trying is the Banana Foster Waffles. (there goes my diet again) Small diner with great food. (My son comes here all the way from the n/w side for breakfast at times) read more

We've been here twice and each time it was packed until about 12:30pm. It is mainly a brunch place. The place reminds me of family dinners in small towns with a Main Street. The menu has extensive options for crepes, pancakes, benedicts, hashes, skillets, etc. The juice is not fancy fresh squeezed, but there are plenty of the expected choices. The portions are very filling. We ordered the Dalia's Skillet, Dalia's Breakfast, and the Chicken Frittata. Once the side French toast ad pancakes are placed on the table, we all realized how much food there is. I appreciate that they do not over salt and over oil everything. Of course, the bacon and sausage are saltier than the eggs as it should be, but it gives me a little room to add salt, pepper, or hot sauce to my taste. read more

A good place if you are trying to escape the lively city and want to enjoy good breakfast place. This place is a good option but definitely not in my top 3 for best brunch places. My bf and I got the frittatas. He got the fiesta frittata and covered it all with hot sauce. The portion was pretty big and we had leftovers but the meal was blasé. It was missing a more dominant flavor. I could say the same for my frittata. I could see that I was eating peppers, mushrooms and onions but I could not taste them. Overall, a good place and good prices but nothing extraordinary. We ended up paying $35 which is very good for the amount of food that we ate. read more

I had the Dalia's Classic and it was delicious, it consisted of sausage, 2 eggs, hash browns, and toast. It was fairly crowded but I was greeted and seated very quickly. I was visiting my sister who uses a walker and the first thing we notice is how nice the people are. They helped us in and to the table making sure she was ok with the seating. The place itself is very welcoming and has a homey feel and is different from big chain breakfast places. They give you a lot of food which is like what you'd get as a home cooked meal. Best of all is the customer service and cleanliness of the place, including the restroom. Will be back when I'm in Chicago next time. read more

We went for breakfast this morning to Dalia's Pancake House, 10719 Roberts Rd. in Palos Hills. It's just a little storefront, nothing big, but you'll find great food and a warm welcome there. Dalia's has 5 stars on Yelp so we gave it a try. If you'll looking for a cozy place where all the handsome older guys know where the food is good, Dalia's is the place to go. Pancakes were so dry. I had to choke them down with multiple cups of coffee. The owner argued with me about how I wanted my eggs and then wouldn't stop. She made me feel like if I don't get what I want it's my fault. Lady you need customer service training Never thought the food was that great but my friend likes to come here. They go above and beyond because when they made the chocolate milk they put whip cream and plenty chocolate syrup. I was immediately given water, a menu and was told my server would be right over which was great . Yasmin came right over and happily took my order with a few customizations (egg whites with spinach, turkey bacon and Turkey sausage for the Orange 2 x 4 breakfast with French toast). She made it easy . Everything came out fairly quickly and looked delicious. Overall, the taste was flavorful for my whole meal as Yasmin suggested the French toast over the pancakes, so I will give her a nod for a good suggestion ! Will definitely be back. Thanks for a pleasant experience and delicious food on an unexpected drop in !
