A lot of great stuff to get. The healthier choices are highlighted. Checked the menu and got a couple cocktails. It's about $11 to get one. The one I had was the Liquid Sunshine. A lot of big flavor. This is made with peach schnapps. A lot of the classic breakfast food. It's about $6 for the cheapest breakfast items. Classics. I got the Avocado Toast. Came on two pieces of bread. This is topped with garlic, pickled radish, and red onions. She got the Quinoa Breakfast Bowl. This is a mixture of quinoa sautéed with cauliflower, green harissa, poblanos, and spinach, topped with cucumbers, egg, feta, and tomatoes. A big thing at breakfast. There's also paninis. Hashtag 95 in Oak Lawn is an absolute breakfast win. My friend and I went on a Sunday morning right in the middle of a snowstorm, and honestly, everything was still so perfect from start to finish. I got the Pistachio Waffle with cannoli filling and cherry infused mascarpone whipped cream, and it was unreal. Perfectly sweet, rich without being too heavy, and such a fun twist on a waffle. My friend got the Basic AF breakfast with eggs your way, house potatoes, a choice of side meat, and toast or pancakes. Classic breakfast done really well. Drinks were a highlight too. I had the Liquid Sunshine with peach vodka, peach schnapps, orange, pineapple, and Sprite, and it was so amazing. Light, refreshing, and perfect for brunch. We had a family brunch at hashtag 95 and was looking forward to it since so many locals recommend this place! The vibes are very downtown Chicago and it's super trendy so I could see why people gravitated towards this place but the starts just didn't align for us here. First off, it was absolutely FREEZING!! I brought a sweater and I was still so cold. The food took forever to get to us so we were just freezing our butts off and hungry hahaha The fire alarm went off while we were waiting for our food and none of the employees acknowledged it. We just kinda sat there plugging our ears because the fire alarm almost blew our eardrums out. I don't think there was an actual fire but for the future I would've really loved to see the employees tell us everything was going to be okay before we start freaking out. Next the food. We waited so long for our food to come out only for it to be bland. The hash was bland and so was the ricotta honey. The eggs Benedict were pretty good though. My teenage niece ordered strawberry pancakes with lots of whipped cream which our waitress hyped up so much only for it to come out plain looking (and they forgot the whip cream) Thankfully our waitress was sweet and we liked her which was the only pleasant experience at the restaurant. Whenever I see a grass wall I k ow I'm in for a terrible experience. Started off by taking our name for seats then having us wait for an hour only to then try to tell us they wouldn't seat us. Hmm....this is our first time trying Hashtag for both of our birthday celebration and it was a bit below OK. We always get Dirty Martini's to celebrate and first they didn't have any blue cheese stuffed olives so that's a huge red flag. At first I thought maybe they don't normally sell alcohol but they have signature drinks so to me, I already know my Dirty martini is not going to be good. Of course I was not. Super tiny glass and not even a martini glass and not even delicious. Very disappointing. Our second drink of mojito and something signature was not any better. Service was also meh. Went for Mother's Day, early (10:30am) but no reservation. Told there was about a 45 minute wait despite half the place being empty. Added name to the waitlist regardless. Came to check back in after 45 minutes with no contact from the restaurant and was told that they "actually" wouldn't be able to seat me and 2 other people and that they wouldn't have a table for us. Interesting. Had to put up a fuss to get a table. Would have been better off going to another place, long story short. Food was mediocre, service was mid, and they were constantly breaking dishes at the bar area behind us. Quite distracting. Ambiance was family friendly and open and spacious. The house potatoes in the skillet hit good with the swiss cheese and bacon. My order got messed up they added extra ingredients I didnt ask for and they orginally forgot my cheese. I went here for brunch with a few friends, and it was an alright place. The ambiance was nice, and the restaurant was clean. I will say it was kind of dark inside. Our waitress was nice, but I could tell she was new. She offered refills on drinks that were not free refills without explaining we would have to pay. She ended up having to cancel once we got that clarification. Everybody there was nice and checked on us frequently. The food was okay. I def recommend the French toast sticks as they were delicious! I got the Godfather skillet, and the flavors were good. It was dry though. It needs something to tie it all together. The potatoes inside were delicious. The food was all pretty good. The cocktails were okay. The vibe screamed Hampton social. I think they are going for a boujee brunch spot vibe, given the atmosphere and the names of the food and drink items on the menu. I personally thought some of the "funny" names were tasteless and odd to have on a menu. I'm sure others think different. When we walked in, there was an extended amount of time that we waited. The hostess then came up and explained she "was on dish duty". When we got to the table the glasses for water had food debris on them. The server switched glass but had long finger nails and placed her finger nail into the cup. Went to this place to test it out as soon as we walked in, we had noticed a corner table in the back was just filled with about four workers doing nothing on their phones the dress attire there is very different than the aesthetic of what the business is trying to promote. They had seated us at a table gave us our menus took them about 10 minutes to ask what we would like to drink as well as as soon as we as soon as we told her, she walked away. We had ordered a lavender honey latte and a coconut latte. As soon as we got them she walked away again and did not come back for another 15 minutes at that moment we told her that we were leaving because I can't imagine the wait for ordered food. We said we will pay for her drinks and leave that is the moment that she became attentive to our table and made it seem like she was rushing to get us our stuff as we look at the bill they have an automatic gratuity added on there therefore tipping is a joke at this place as well as all the workers doing nothing but sitting on their phone. Recently had a chance to try #Hashtag 95 for lunch. After the great experience at their initial breakfast launch, I really wanted to get back for lunch or dinner. Luckily, I had a meeting with a coworker who loves Rockefeller's as much as I do, so #Hashtag 95 was a no-brainer when it came to picking a lunch spot. They have recently moved to their permanent business hours of 7am - 10 pm, 7 days a week, which is just nuts. That is a next-level commitment and one that requires a lot of dedicated staff. Also, maintaining quality control would also be a concern - I would think. It comes as no surprise that the owners were there in person when we stopped in for lunch to make sure that things were running smoothly. Obviously, it is imperative that their vision and level of service are being upheld and maintained, especially at this stage in the game. Our server, Emma, did an amazing job while we were there. We were a party of five, we were hungry, and as reported in my last review, their menu is extensive. I ordered the Out and In Burger, two in our party ordered the Just the Tip sandwich (again - the menu names are. Riot), and the two others ordered the Jalapeño Popper Birger and the Birria Tacos. We started our meal off with the 18th St. Dip and the French Toast Sticks. I can honestly tell you that all of the food was absolutely amazing. The sandwiches all came with a choice of either French Onion Soup, or the soup of the day. The soup of the day was a Loaded Baked Potato Soup, and it was absolutely decadent! I say this without any hesitation... It was by far, the best loaded baked potato soup I have ever had in my life. I ordered my burger medium, rare, and it was cooked to perfection - seasoned perfectly - and came to the table with a "#" brand burned into the bun. Instead of french fries I ordered it with the pasta salad, and it was homemade, delicious and loaded with feta cheese and bell peppers. It would be super easy for #Hashtag 95 to dump some premade Sysco pasta salad into a soup cup and serve that with my burger, but that's just not what this place is about. The devil is in the details, and they understand that at #Hashtag 95. The last thing I want to address in this review is the price point for their food. A couple of people in my party had some initial "sticker shock" when they were perusing the menu. I definitely eat out more than the Average Joe, and this is just the cost of dining in 2024. The prices at #Hashtag 95 are exactly where they should be. Last night I had a medium pizza and some angel hair pasta delivered to the house from a local pizza joint and the bill was $60 with tip. The pasta with red sauce and a piece of Italian sausage was $20, and there was absolutely NOTHING special about it. Bottom line is that eating out anywhere is more expensive than it's ever been. Do yourself a favor and spend your money wisely. Spend it at a family business that's committed to providing you with a complete dining experience - quality food, that's delicious, and accompanied by top-notch service. #Hashtag 95 does just that. read more

The music is fun to rock too. The staff is really friendly. I live in River Forest and I have come out to Oak Lawn twice to meet friends for brunch. Make sure to try the lavender honey latte it is divine. Have it hot or iced it's delicious. I didn't think I would like it because I thought that I would be tasting soap, but it's not that way at all. It's very very good. Give this spot a try and come back for dinner. From the overpriced food, the added gratuity, and the misconception that first responders get a 25% off discount when in reality you only discount the persons entree. There's a reason why fine dining restaurants sometimes only serve 5 things. We tried a good sampling of the things mentioned and they were all good, none of them were great. Pancakes were acceptable and probably the best thing. French onion soup was pretty good too. The Hamburger was huge but it was under seasoned and made of low quality meat. Birria tacos were edible but a little greasy. Fries were excellent. It just felt like you'd be rolling the dice to try anything on such a massive menu. Staff is great and decor is nice. I ordered the "Basic AF," breakfast because of allergies to dairy but everything was amazing! Eggs made to perfection. House potatoes were delicious!! A corned beef hash that was just an explosion of flavor. I had a fantastic matcha latte! absolute fire!! So good! As I said, everything was pretty great but the part that actually sealed the deal for me was this peach/pineapple jam that I assume was house made. I asked for some jam to go with my toast and I just about fell over! This jam was not only savory sweet, but it had just a hint of saltiness? I'm not sure, but it took my breath away! For 2 drinks, churro dip, chicken and waffles and my eggs benedict (which is just two eggs and one english muffin), no sides, and gratuity... it cost us over $100. That's more than a little much for brunch that wasn't even boozy. I originally planned to host my husbands birthday bunch here in November but with that price point, I'll need to cut back for Christmas. All in all, cute little find. We'll be back for dinner but only the two of us and hopefully with a more experienced server. *also in response from another review... the names on the food items/drinks are hilarious.
