Got breakfast at this restaurant in Oak Lawn. Hashtag 95 is the most popular place around here to go in the morning. It has a lot of familiar items and some that are more unique. A lot of great stuff to get. The healthier choices are highlighted. Checked the menu and got a couple cocktails. It's about $11 to get one. The one I had was the Liquid Sunshine. A lot of big flavor. This is made with peach schnapps. A lot of the classic breakfast food. It's about $6 for the cheapest breakfast items. Classics. I got the Avocado Toast. Came on two pieces of bread. This is topped with garlic, pickled radish, and red onions. She got the Quinoa Breakfast Bowl. This is a mixture of quinoa sautéed with cauliflower, green harissa, poblanos, and spinach, topped with cucumbers, egg, feta, and tomatoes. A big thing at breakfast. There's also paninis. Has a lot to get at breakfast. It's also open for lunch with options like sandwiches . They're closed Tuesdays. read more

Owner never listened to people's suggestions. The forced 20% top really lost people's interest from the start and he saw the hundreds of comments about it on Facebook. I know it's meant to keep the rift raft out but it also kept people like me out. I have this place two chances and got a burger both times. The food was not good and for the prices they charge it was insanity. In that location you can't charge $47 for seafood and with low volume you're going to have high food waste. Location is so important and you're tucked away next to a nursing home and shawarma place. Francesca is successful because the brand, the amazing food and the non mandatory tip. People talked, nobody listened. I feel like Nick wanted to be more about "his community" and "his staff" more than about himself. And that's a failure we see in a lot of episodes of Hell's Kitchen and restaurant impossible. When the ship is sinking you need to take drastic steps to stay afloat like fire the lazy fucks, hire real cooks and not illegals who can't cook a basic cheese burger, advertise deals and specials nonstop on Facebook and neighboring city pages. Shit, give a "relaunch" day to let residents try the menu at discounted rates. There's a beautiful bar but I never saw a wristband deal or bears game cookout. I'd definitely go there with a group to drink outside but never heard anything about it and it was probably $9 for a white claw knowing their prices. But who knows it was never advertised. Service was crap both times. There were 2 tables and the black servers sat at a booth on their phone. They could be cleaning or advertising on their own social media but nah. Just milk off the owner like a lot of shitty employees do. read more

I ate here today for Fathers Day. The food was good but service was extremely slow. Our table didn't even have the usual table set up. I sat there so long without being greeted that the owner himself stopped by and ended up waiting my table. I was wondering what that was all about! I knew it wasn't the norm for the owner to be waiting tables. My brother and I both had the "cigar" chicken and waffles. Funny thing is it doesn't actually come with a cigar lol. All the items are ala carte. Coffee is mediocre. The restaurant is pretty and clean. I especially loved the outdoor space underneath the pergola. I would have to come here again on a day where the weather is playing nice. read more

This place is open.for breakfast to dinner and serve breakfast all day. They have a full bar. Place is sizeable, good for groups. It was clean. No issue with service. The young lady I forgot her name was there by herself the early after we went. I ordered the OMG French toast with a side of corned beef. My cousin had the Korean chicken it came with soup and fries. The soup was delicious and taste homemade. My aunt had the build your own omelette. My little cousin approves of the chicken tenders. The French toast was cooked perfectly. I liked the corned hash but it would've been better if it was more of a hash, needed to cut the potato up smaller. Korean sandwich had a nice crunch to it but it would've been even better if it had a bit of spice to it. read more

Hashtag 95 in Oak Lawn is an absolute breakfast win. My friend and I went on a Sunday morning right in the middle of a snowstorm, and honestly, everything was still so perfect from start to finish. I got the Pistachio Waffle with cannoli filling and cherry infused mascarpone whipped cream, and it was unreal. Perfectly sweet, rich without being too heavy, and such a fun twist on a waffle. My friend got the Basic AF breakfast with eggs your way, house potatoes, a choice of side meat, and toast or pancakes. Classic breakfast done really well. Drinks were a highlight too. I had the Liquid Sunshine with peach vodka, peach schnapps, orange, pineapple, and Sprite, and it was so amazing. Light, refreshing, and perfect for brunch. My friend got the Scooby Snack with Malibu, banana liqueur, Midori, pineapple, and Sprite, which was just as good and super fun. Our service was incredible, especially considering the weather. The staff was friendly and attentive, and made the whole experience feel effortless despite the snowstorm outside. The vibes were great, the food came out fresh and hot, and everything exceeded expectations. Definitely a place I will be coming back to. Easy 5 stars. read more

This was a definite disappointment.... I started off with the cream of jalapeno soup... I don't believe that they make their soups fresh, the texture is of a bag soup it had no flavor absolutely no flavor I was looking for hot sauce to add some something.. but I ended up giving up on it... Then we ordered oh I'm so grossed out it was the chilaquiles and let me tell you that was nothing but a hot mess I took a picture of it and that wasn't eaten out of I pulled the eggs up and that's what you'll see nothing but soggy chips I don't know what's wrong with that cook why would he even bother serving that I always believe that, if you wouldn't eat it don't serve it .. we then ordered the Thanksgiving turkey they have good turkey I have to admit the vegetables will roasted fresh that was also okay the potatoes were okay.. don't ask what the stuffing was I can't even tell you look like pepperidge farm stuffing cubes and I don't even know how it wasn't even cooked maybe it was steamed a little bit it's so weird.. the only good thing was my server.. she did her part 100%. My friend did order a club another time and they said it was good so I'm not complaining about all their food I can only just tell you what's happened to me today when I tried it for the first time.. and my last read more

We had a family brunch at hashtag 95 and was looking forward to it since so many locals recommend this place! The vibes are very downtown Chicago and it's super trendy so I could see why people gravitated towards this place but the starts just didn't align for us here. First off, it was absolutely FREEZING!! I brought a sweater and I was still so cold. The food took forever to get to us so we were just freezing our butts off and hungry hahaha The fire alarm went off while we were waiting for our food and none of the employees acknowledged it. We just kinda sat there plugging our ears because the fire alarm almost blew our eardrums out. I don't think there was an actual fire but for the future I would've really loved to see the employees tell us everything was going to be okay before we start freaking out. Next the food. We waited so long for our food to come out only for it to be bland. The hash was bland and so was the ricotta honey. The eggs Benedict were pretty good though. My teenage niece ordered strawberry pancakes with lots of whipped cream which our waitress hyped up so much only for it to come out plain looking (and they forgot the whip cream) Thankfully our waitress was sweet and we liked her which was the only pleasant experience at the restaurant. I don't think we we'll be back soon but I'm not opposed to trying it again in the future since there are so many great brunch places near Oaklawn. read more

Whenever I see a grass wall I k ow I'm in for a terrible experience. Started off by taking our name for seats then having us wait for an hour only to then try to tell us they wouldn't seat us. Food was very underwhelming, hada breakfast skillet and it wasn't any meat in it which I ordered. Overall whole experience terrible, but that's to be expected when the entire staff are teenagers. read more

I recently visited #95 for a Sunday morning breakfast and wanted to share my experience. From the moment I arrived, the atmosphere was warm and inviting, with a cute decor that set a pleasant tone. However, I quickly noticed the limited menu, particularly regarding non-pork options. After reviewing it several times, I decided to stay and give the place a try. Unfortunately, the food lacked flavor. My veggie omelette was overcooked, leaving it dry and unappetizing. The buffalo wings were enormous, almost like they had been injected with steroids, but they also lacked that necessary zing. Additionally, the service was disappointing. The waiter seemed bothered whenever we asked for basic items like jelly, napkins, or condiments for my omelette, which detracted from the overall experience. In summary, while the atmosphere was charming, the food and service did not meet expectations. I would rate this place a one out of five and will definitely not be returning. read more

Hmm....this is our first time trying Hashtag for both of our birthday celebration and it was a bit below OK. We always get Dirty Martini's to celebrate and first they didn't have any blue cheese stuffed olives so that's a huge red flag. At first I thought maybe they don't normally sell alcohol but they have signature drinks so to me, I already know my Dirty martini is not going to be good. Of course I was not. Super tiny glass and not even a martini glass and not even delicious. Very disappointing. Our second drink of mojito and something signature was not any better. Service was also meh. Not a smile on their face. Like they hate us. Boy oh boy. Food was also just ok. Not something I can say wow, I'd go back for the food alone. Not a overall good experience. 2 drinks, 2 sandwiches (mind you, not even for salmon or anything upscale) and it was $123 out the door for a burger. I could have an amazing meal somewhere else for that amount of money. Definitely not a place I will go back unfortunately. read more

The service could use some work but the food was good. I really liked the Hashtag signature French toast sticks they came with a vanilla bean cream it qas delicious didn't need any syrup. The house potatoes in the skillet hit good with the swiss cheese and bacon. My order got messed up they added extra ingredients I didnt ask for and they orginally forgot my cheese. My mimosa was enjoyable I wouldn't mind doing bottomless if I go out with friends. I would go back and I recommend. read more

I went to the restaurant yesterday. July 12, 2026. I was just okay. Last year when I went the service was great, My food was fresh and delicious. My fries were not cooked all the way through nor was my chicken. The soup was not as good as I remember. I don't know if they have a new cook or have changed some of the recipes. Our server seemed overwhelmed. We did have a large party. She did her best. I was mostly disappointed with the food quality. read more

Went for Mother's Day, early (10:30am) but no reservation. Told there was about a 45 minute wait despite half the place being empty. Added name to the waitlist regardless. Came to check back in after 45 minutes with no contact from the restaurant and was told that they "actually" wouldn't be able to seat me and 2 other people and that they wouldn't have a table for us. Interesting. Had to put up a fuss to get a table. Would have been better off going to another place, long story short. Food was mediocre, service was mid, and they were constantly breaking dishes at the bar area behind us. Quite distracting. Ambiance was family friendly and open and spacious. My advice for them would be focus on the drinks and vibes, forget the food. read more

I went here for brunch with a few friends, and it was an alright place. The ambiance was nice, and the restaurant was clean. I will say it was kind of dark inside. Our waitress was nice, but I could tell she was new. She offered refills on drinks that were not free refills without explaining we would have to pay. She ended up having to cancel once we got that clarification. Everybody there was nice and checked on us frequently. The food was okay. I def recommend the French toast sticks as they were delicious! I got the Godfather skillet, and the flavors were good. It was dry though. It needs something to tie it all together. The potatoes inside were delicious. The French toast was decent, but not the best I've had. I prefer lighter airy bread for French toast. I got the regular side of French toast, so I'm not sure what bread they use but it wasn't brioche or challah. Overall it was an okay place they have a large menu and a variety of things to pick from. I'd be open to visiting again! read more

I went here for the first time today. Our server, Ashley, was so friendly & attentive. The service was definitely great. My friends and I enjoyed a few cocktails, an appetizer, soup, & a main dish. The food was all pretty good. The cocktails were okay. The vibe screamed Hampton social. I think they are going for a boujee brunch spot vibe, given the atmosphere and the names of the food and drink items on the menu. I personally thought some of the "funny" names were tasteless and odd to have on a menu. I'm sure others think different. If I were to come back here, I'd skip the dinner food and probably try the breakfast. I should mention, there's an automatic 20% tip added to the bill, no matter the party size. I personally like to tip cash & more than 20%.... But I guess that's on the owners to adjust their policy. read more

When we walked in, there was an extended amount of time that we waited. The hostess then came up and explained she "was on dish duty". When we got to the table the glasses for water had food debris on them. The server switched glass but had long finger nails and placed her finger nail into the cup. The busser had cups and silverware under his arms. Cleanliness and food safety were opportunities. The city of Oak Lawn is known for not inspecting, so who knows when the last inspection was. I ordered 2 scrambled eggs, bacon burnt, w pancakes-upcharged for $2.25 to add berries. The food was overcooked and overpriced. Whoever made those scrambled eggs cooks like a toddler. I paid $2.25 for 1 small sliced strawberry. My husband had some banana bread French toast, it had a fancy name but a pop tart is considered more edible to me. It came with what looked like bananas but was undercooked plantains (inedible). The ambience and our server was the winner. Food is overpriced garbage! The server was super sweet and on point. They add the tip to the bill, no matter how big the size of the party. We had ordered by DoorDash and hated it so we thought we would hit the restaurant, $60 later, we learned that they showed how bad they were already on DoorDash so it was our fault for trying it again. read more

I really want to give a higher rating but I cant. Me and my daughter went in to check it out- no one was at the front; it took a while before someone actually came up to get us a seat (the place was not pack at all). I said hello to the hostess - she did not say anything back and did not even smile and just stared at us so i said "table for two". Finally got seated then it took maybe another 10-15 mins before someone actually came up to us and asked us if anyone came to us already - I said no.. so we got to put in our order and the only "friendly" person in the place was the guy who brought us the food. The place looks nice; i liked the music that was playing. Our server was actually nice but they just look so tired. The food was okay - the menu is a little overwhelming again. Not sure if I will come back here- definitely not the place to go to if you are starving - you will starve more because of the wait. read more

Went to this place to test it out as soon as we walked in, we had noticed a corner table in the back was just filled with about four workers doing nothing on their phones the dress attire there is very different than the aesthetic of what the business is trying to promote. They had seated us at a table gave us our menus took them about 10 minutes to ask what we would like to drink as well as as soon as we as soon as we told her, she walked away. We had ordered a lavender honey latte and a coconut latte. As soon as we got them she walked away again and did not come back for another 15 minutes at that moment we told her that we were leaving because I can't imagine the wait for ordered food. The coconut latte tasted like straight milk. Lavender latte wasn't too bad. We said we will pay for her drinks and leave that is the moment that she became attentive to our table and made it seem like she was rushing to get us our stuff as we look at the bill they have an automatic gratuity added on there therefore tipping is a joke at this place as well as all the workers doing nothing but sitting on their phone. This is a photo of the coconut latte mind you they gave it to us with no straws. Nothing in and our server wasn't even the one to bring it to our table. read more

Recently had a chance to try #Hashtag 95 for lunch. After the great experience at their initial breakfast launch, I really wanted to get back for lunch or dinner. Luckily, I had a meeting with a coworker who loves Rockefeller's as much as I do, so #Hashtag 95 was a no-brainer when it came to picking a lunch spot. They have recently moved to their permanent business hours of 7am - 10 pm, 7 days a week, which is just nuts. That is a next-level commitment and one that requires a lot of dedicated staff. Also, maintaining quality control would also be a concern - I would think. It comes as no surprise that the owners were there in person when we stopped in for lunch to make sure that things were running smoothly. Obviously, it is imperative that their vision and level of service are being upheld and maintained, especially at this stage in the game. Our server, Emma, did an amazing job while we were there. We were a party of five, we were hungry, and as reported in my last review, their menu is extensive. I ordered the Out and In Burger, two in our party ordered the Just the Tip sandwich (again - the menu names are. Riot), and the two others ordered the Jalapeño Popper Birger and the Birria Tacos. We started our meal off with the 18th St. Dip and the French Toast Sticks. I can honestly tell you that all of the food was absolutely amazing. The sandwiches all came with a choice of either French Onion Soup, or the soup of the day. The soup of the day was a Loaded Baked Potato Soup, and it was absolutely decadent! I say this without any hesitation... It was by far, the best loaded baked potato soup I have ever had in my life. I ordered my burger medium, rare, and it was cooked to perfection - seasoned perfectly - and came to the table with a "#" brand burned into the bun. Instead of french fries I ordered it with the pasta salad, and it was homemade, delicious and loaded with feta cheese and bell peppers. It would be super easy for #Hashtag 95 to dump some premade Sysco pasta salad into a soup cup and serve that with my burger, but that's just not what this place is about. The devil is in the details, and they understand that at #Hashtag 95. The last thing I want to address in this review is the price point for their food. A couple of people in my party had some initial "sticker shock" when they were perusing the menu. I definitely eat out more than the Average Joe, and this is just the cost of dining in 2024. The prices at #Hashtag 95 are exactly where they should be. Last night I had a medium pizza and some angel hair pasta delivered to the house from a local pizza joint and the bill was $60 with tip. The pasta with red sauce and a piece of Italian sausage was $20, and there was absolutely NOTHING special about it. Bottom line is that eating out anywhere is more expensive than it's ever been. Do yourself a favor and spend your money wisely. Spend it at a family business that's committed to providing you with a complete dining experience - quality food, that's delicious, and accompanied by top-notch service. #Hashtag 95 does just that. read more

The food is generous and very tasty. The service is on point. I feel like I am at the club BUT you can have a conversation and you're not screaming to your family or friends while you're out. The music is fun to rock too. The staff is really friendly. I live in River Forest and I have come out to Oak Lawn twice to meet friends for brunch. Make sure to try the lavender honey latte it is divine. Have it hot or iced it's delicious. I didn't think I would like it because I thought that I would be tasting soap, but it's not that way at all. It's very very good. Give this spot a try and come back for dinner. Great new spot! Hashtag 95th opened just a few weeks ago but the owners are pros. They service was top notch from start to finish and the food is great. We had the ricotta appetizer. We also had the pineapple upside down pancakes, the crème brûlée, crêpes, one of the Benedicts and the burger that's a riff on In-and-Out. Honestly, everything was delicious. Whenever you see a restaurant menu that has breakfast items, hamburgers, chillequilles, birria, specialty coffee, poke bowls, paninis, steaks, shrimp, Korean fried chicken, you gotta wonder how it can all possibly be good. There's a reason why fine dining restaurants sometimes only serve 5 things. We tried a good sampling of the things mentioned and they were all good, none of them were great. Pancakes were acceptable and probably the best thing. French onion soup was pretty good too. The Hamburger was huge but it was under seasoned and made of low quality meat. Birria tacos were edible but a little greasy. Fries were excellent. It just felt like you'd be rolling the dice to try anything on such a massive menu. Staff is great and decor is nice. Personally I think they'd do better to have a smaller more focused menu. You can't serve everything. I also don't love that they automatically add tip at 20%. read more

I'm always looking for a great new place for breakfast. I don't know how I've missed Hashtag 95, but stumbled upon it yesterday and absolutely fell in the love. I ordered the "Basic AF," breakfast because of allergies to dairy but everything was amazing! Eggs made to perfection. House potatoes were delicious!! A corned beef hash that was just an explosion of flavor. I had a fantastic matcha latte! absolute fire!! So good! As I said, everything was pretty great but the part that actually sealed the deal for me was this peach/pineapple jam that I assume was house made. I asked for some jam to go with my toast and I just about fell over! This jam was not only savory sweet, but it had just a hint of saltiness? I'm not sure, but it took my breath away! Absolutely loved it!! My compliments to the chefs! Atmosphere was amazing!! Super modern feel, with an ,"At homey," feel. We sat inside but they also had a very spacious patio where quite a few people sat. I instantly felt comfortable. Ps-Every last song on the place list was an absolute cut. From Prince to Stevie Wonder. Such a great time. Our server was fantastic! Super quick. Very efficient. Checked on us frequently, and most of all met us with kindness and patience. The food was delicious. Great taste. The prices are a little outrageous for the amount you get. $35 lobster roll, and $26 ribeye steak sandwich is a lot for the amount you get and the quality, but nonetheless very good.
