Not bad for "free" but this would be a huge disappointment if you paid an entrance fee to use. The lounge is small. It's narrow, with not a lot of seating, and a lot of unnecessary dividers taking up valuable space. The food selection is limited, usually a couple of warm finger foods and a cold meat wrap, alongside a small salad bar. There is also a small selection of drinks and a soda fountain, Although good luck getting to any as usually staff are stood in front of it talking, or getting in your way attempting to be helpful. This area could definitely do with a refurbishment. There's virtually no plugs for charging or powering a laptop by any of the seats, and the bathroom is cramped and falling apart. That all being said, the staff at the welcome desk very very pleasant and made you feel respected and appreciated for your loyalty to Air Canada. read more

This is a sad sad lounge. It is small and food was not great like all AC lounge. Good thing is that they have alcohol. They don't even have magazine and newspaper for their travelers on their airline. They have very very limited computers and cubicles for someone who wants to do some work in private. What is even more sad is that they are located across from the Premium Lounge. You go up the elevator and if you turn right it is Premium Lounge and if you turn left it is the sad Air Canada Maple Lounge. The Premium Lounge looks busy all the time. AC Lounge just looks sad. Food doesn't even look appetizing at all. They have a fountain pop machine that looks old and outdated. So glad it is free for me. If I had to pay this would be double sad. read more

I had to buy an upgraded ticket because there were no economy class seats left when purchasing through Aeroplan. It had a stop in Edmonton. Fine, not the worst thing! Bonus, Maple Leaf lounge! The good: the free drinks, if you're into that. They had a cool liquor dispenser and there were many people enjoying it. Yay. Also, all you can eat. Nice! Go back as many times as you want. They had almond milk for coffee for those of us who don't drink dairy. The (very) bad: I've attached the picture of the ONLY vegan option for lunch. Considering how many people are plant based now, I was shocked to see that sugar peas were the only things we could eat. There were bowls of fruit and some pretzels too, but they were offered all day. The only hot lunch food that was brought out were the peas. Do better, Air Canada. read more

Not one of the best AC Lounges out there, that's for sure. Not as much seating as they should have, especially when people sprawl their belongings all over the chairs. They need to install some plug ins in the seating area too. Limited food items available - 2 kinds of soup, and a salad or two, some fresh fruit (as in apples, bananas and oranges), and cookies. Service is pretty good though, they clear the tables fast. Washrooms are always clean. Pads and tampons are available if you need them in the washroom, free of charge. If I had to pick between the two lounges to spend a long layover in, I'd pick the one across the hall, because they have a nicer lounge area, and more food. read more

Nice comfortable area which sure beats waiting with the rest of the commoners in the front of the gate. Okay, I can joke about that since I'm typically one of those commoners. Large, comfortable leather seats and relaxing decor. A moderate size buffet of salads, snacks, sandwiches, wine, beer (on tap) - pretty much what you'd expect. No doubt, it's the best place to be when waiting for your flight. read more

This lounge is really beautiful and has a relaxed atmosphere.. There are closet spaces to stow your luggage if you want to come and go, like if you wanted to run out and do some shopping but don't want to lug your carry ons around, this is ideal.. They have a very nice continental breakfast selection.. I liked the hard boiled eggs in the soda fridge, yumm. There are all sorts of comfy lounge chairs, many with electric outlets for charging your digital devices (places that are with the times like that always get my vote). The bathrooms are super clean, if a bit small.. Thats really the only reason I gave it 4 and not 5 stars...I feel like it should be a bit bigger.. Showers would be heavenly. read more

This lounge is one of the ones I spend the most time in. It's always my last wait before my last leg home, so if it wasn't as cozy as it is, it would be an even more excruciating wait. The lounge overlooks the gates so you can look down on other people suffering in less comfortable chairs.... I mean.... people watch. There's always the standard little buffet. Veggies, pita chips things, etc. There's a full self-serve bar and all kinds of pop and juice and magazines and such. There's a TV with like 5 chairs around it which is nice for watching hockey and football games. The bathrooms are really nice and clean, and weirdly (or conveniently?) offer an extra magazine selection. I'm pretty sure there's also a little business centre but I've honestly never used it. This is one of the smaller lounges, but I've never had issues finding a spot or anything. I would consider giving a 5 star except 99% of the agents always lie about when the plane to GP arrives even when you specifically ask and let them know that you know it's always late and that's fine. You just want to stay in the lounge until it gets there. They still sweetly smile and look up nothing and say that the inbound aircraft has arrived. Then you walk down to gate 49 and SHOCKER the inbound aircraft is delayed. Like always. Sigh. read more

Smaller than some of the other ones. Very nice spot though. Comfortable chairs and quiet. One thing that is a little bit different is that they have a bartender, not a self serve bar. Enjoyed my time here. read more

This is a weak lounge experience. Crowded, and has a poor food selection. It's time to redesign this lounge.
