2.5 stars I came here in the afternoon for a snack. Regular doughnuts are $.85 each. Selection is pretty standard, though I saw some larger twists I haven't seen anywhere else before, and they didn't have a lot of bars. Location is just off Santa Cruz Ave down Roberts Rd, and they have a separate lot. There was just one thing that bothered me: the curt service. Used to be my favorite place to eat, then ownership changed and it all went downhill. New owner is rude, forgetful, doesn't respect customers at all. She also changed from a fresh, homemade bagel source to a cheap, commercial brand for their bagel sandwiches. I am sad to say I will not be returning here very often from now on. read more

I had time to kill before a DMV appointment, stopped in to Maple Leaf Donuts for a coffee and bagel. Afterwards, I asked to use the restroom, I was refused and told to go to the DMV. I asked her where she goes to the bathroom...no response. Clearly they have one, but not interested in accommodating a paying customer. Possibly they are not legally obligated to provide access to restrooms, but I will be taking my business elsewhere. read more

This place is walking distance from where I work. Their breakfast croissant sandwiches are delicious & offer a lot of variety. Any lunch sandwich can be requested on a bagel or croissant. The donuts are also very good. I visit here atleast 2-3 times a week. read more

Been shopping there for years was 5 stars until they changed ownership. Three out of the last 4 visits have been bad, yesterday's being the worst. She was very rude which is often the case. Argued with me on how I ordered the sandwiches untikmi finally said just return my money then she made them as I had requested. Also bought three donuts which were stale. Three strikes and you are out I will not return. In less you like being treated rudely don't go there. read more

I was craving a tuna salad sandwich so came to Maple Leaf donuts as I was close. I have ordered the tuna salad sandwich in the past and have always been impressed with its good flavor and fresh ingredients. I ordered a," Tasty tuna salad sandwich, number 10, please." I got the sandwich quickly, picked up a cake with sprinkles donut on the way out and went to my car to eat my lunch. When I sniffed the bag, I realized it was an egg salad sandwich instead of the tuna I wanted, however I was so hungry I decided to try it. 5 stars for the delicious fresh egg salad sandwich which I would never have ordered unless it was given to me accidentally. I will definitely return to order the same sandwich again. 5 stars despite the mess up in ordering. =) PS: the cake donut is perfect, crisp on the outside, creamy on the inside, and not too sweet. I love the small family style business vibe I got. The workers were so friendly and not to mention my breakfast was quick and delicious. I got the breakfast burrito and a cake maple doughnut. The Mexican lady behind the counter is really rude. She also lied to me and the orange juice was fresh when it's not. There was a big bottle of orange juice in the fridge where all the juices were and they just pour it into the cups. Never coming back here again. read more

My latte was burnt but they had the donut my friend is never able to get anywhere and the bagel with cream cheese was as good as any!

Maple Leaf Donuts is located on N. Santa Cruz Ave in Los Gatos, kitty corner from the DMV parking lot. They serve fresh donuts every morning (I think one is $.45) as well as drinks like milk, coffee and OJ. Parking is a disaster if you go between 7-9, things taper down around 10:00am and you can actually sit down on the tables and read the paper. Service is friendly and quick although the store itself could use a good cleaning. read more

Quick and easy like the DMV across the street. Homeboy made a clean bacon, egg, and cheese bagel. Stacked, packed, wrapped, and cut precisely, allowed for clean one-handed eating with no spills. Perfect temp, eggs had substance and wasn't runny, all ingredients tasted fresh. read more

I love this place. The hours are incredible (6-3 but they are often open longer) and the service is impeccable. The donuts are fresh and soft, the bagels are quite good and the croissants are flaky and delicious. Highly recommend. read more

Prices are too high for a breakfast sandwich that wasn't that great. ($10 something for a sandwich and small chai latte) Croissant had a weird taste Ann's sandwich was pretty skinny. I ordered a drink and most of it was foam, I removed the foam and asked her if I could have the actual size drink, she added more milk without extra chai so now my drink just tastes like warm milk . I stop by here a couple times a week for the vegetarian bagel. It's so delicious! The employees are very sweet as well.

A friend of mine goes to Maple Leaf almost every day so I thought it would be a cute idea to buy him a gift certificate for father's day. I was treated so rudely by the woman behind the counter who acted like I was asking her to cut her arm off...uh, gift certificates are pretty mainstream. I understand if they can't accomodate, but she could have at least been pleasant or tried to figure out a way when I told her that the request was for a very regular, LONG-TIME customer. BTW- my visit was well after the Saturday morning donut dash, no one else in the shop, so that was no excuse. I don't eat donuts, so no loss for me. I hope their food is good, service and cleanliness do not appear to be their strong suits. read more

Yummy!!! I had a jelly filled donut and it was really good. A little too much filling but still good. They fill them when you order and that is cool. I have been getting a bagel and cream cheese about 2-3 mornings a week on my way to work for over 1 year. Until this morning....I usually pay cash with 25¢ in pennies for my purchase. This morning I was informed that "We don't want your pennies!" Laboring under the assumption that pennies are still legal currency, I objected especially since that never has been an issue in over a year or so. When I informed the owner that this is the last time I will buy a bagel there, they said that was fine, they didn't want my pennies. I always try to go to the local stores but I guess it will be Noah or New York bagel from now on....viva the chain stores :-( read more

They have own vision of coffee that is different from most and charge you for cup of water, extra lid, etc... Not sure if they pass sanitary standards either. I was not fond of this place and onset how it exists with such quality standards. read more

Not a super fancy place, but their donuts are damn good! It's a snug, family owned place. I come here every morning, and every time I'm treated with the same kindness. Their donuts are light and fluffy, and are very good for the price. Everything is decently priced, and I've had a few different kinds of breakfast sandwiches there, and all are heated to perfection with good and tasty ingredients. The service is also very fast.
