We contacted Blue Ribbon Catering, and they were incredibly helpful. Not to mention, they were patient and kind as we asked a multitude of questions to gain clarity. Everyone was very patient, especially Melissa, with whom we were in constant contact regarding the event. She made everything so easy to understand. Many of our guests had different food allergies, and they were able to accommodate us as best as they could. Everything was wonderful, and people raved about the food. The team was very professional; they showed up on time and had the food ready to go. Prices were also very reasonable, which we really appreciated since we were planning a wedding on a budget. It was definitely worth it. We had Vanessa as our private caterer, and she was incredibly kind to every single guest. She even helped my mom set up an entire dessert table that my mom had prepared separately. Vanessa didn't have to do that, but she was willing to help. Overall, our experience with Blue Ribbon Catering felt very comforting and family-like. We highly recommend them, and if we have another event up north in Ohio, we will absolutely be contacting them again.

I've used this catering company for a few different events and I have to say that this past weekend…read morewas the worst experience. I'll start by saying I tried to give the benefit of the doubt here because of the holidays being a busy time but I'm still disappointed overall. We had booked for a party of 55 people over a month ahead of time. I confirmed all of the details besides some menu choices well in advance. It took me 2 weeks of tracking down Marge just to confirm and pay for the order. I understand they're busy so I let this go. We spoke 2 days before the party and she assured me that all the details were set in place. Marge and I emailed and I have the email from her that states they would deliver to our venue at 5:30 so they would be done before guests arrive at 6. At 5:45 when no one had showed up, I called and got the response, "we didn't know what time to be there" and they hadn't left the shop yet. If you didn't know and had not called, what time were you going to show up? I tried to brush it off and let it go. They finally showed up at 6:30 to set up in the middle of the party, at that point I was handed the invoice for our party. On the invoice, it did state party at 6:00 so I was a little irritated. Also, it said "food only". So I approached Marge and asked about our plates and cutlery, to which she said she had no idea what I was talking about. On the website, it does state that they provide plates and cutlery and I also confirmed this weeks ahead of time. It's now 7:00 and guests are now irritated and not able to eat after being moved out of the way for the caterers to set up mid-party. At this point, I said I would just go to the closest store to get what was needed, to which I got, "you'll just buy junk, I'll come back" and she left. Just after 7:30, someone from the company comes back with plates and cutlery so our guests could finally eat. After people started getting food, we quickly realized that we didn't have enough cutlery for our guests. It was horribly disappointing and at this point I was fed up. After all of this, when I went to drop off the chaffing dishes the following day, the staff at the shop were quite cold and rude. For food that is just mediocre and unprofessional service, it was not worth the money we paid at all. If you decided to pick up your food instead, this might be worth your time. Overall, we definitely will not be back.

I took my father there on Sunday April 19th at 5pm. Before I get started with the negative, I would like the manager of this location to know that they are very lucky to have Maddy as an employee. Now for the bad: when we walked in, at least four tables were filthy. Three tables had their chairs up like they were getting ready to close and there were three dirty tables in the back. We sat at the only clean table. The employee named Katy should no longer be working there. I don't know how anybody gets paid to be that rude to people. She didn't smile she didn't say hello when I told her I didn't come there often she wasn't helpful. I only ordered two sandwiches and drinks. It was a low maintenance order and she literally made me feel bad for making her take the time to wait on me. It was a horrible customer experience. While I was there, some guy came in who had gone home and come back because he was given the wrong sandwich. I didn't hear her apologize once. I took a picture and it's posted on this website of the overflowing trash area. The picture that I posted doesn't include our trash. I had to put our trash on top of the pile of trash. The place was a mess. I will say there is potential in the employee name Maddy she was super excited about the company and how they keep things fresh. She was excited to talk about the company and seemed proud. To the management, this place needs one heck of a makeover in every sense of the word
