The service was good for two weeks, and we had a written and verbal agreement to pay in installments and that was agreed upon by both parties. Service has been paid $300/$700, until I had a small accident after using my rear brakes to shift down and stop at a red light. The rear wheel locked while in motion. After close examination the brake pad he replaced is nonexistent, and the piston went through the rotor. After a simple brake service in addition to other services done, I will now have to replace the brake caliper, the piston, rotor, and new brake pad, I will now be spending double to repair the bike after his damages. Mechanic Alex has since blocked my number and ghosted me after agreeing to fix the issue he caused. I will be pursuing this issue to the highest extent of the law. Thankfully I am not dead. He has zero organization and poor communication. The issue has since been professionally diagnosed and not based on assumption! Harley compatible parts were not used for the brake servicing! Also not disclosed was the ongoing issue Alex had while doing my rear brakes, to the point that diagrams had to be looked up to determine whether or not he was correct! Not only was the tone and choice of words on the phone call I had to make from a separate number despicable but extremely rude to a customer and friend he had a personal friendship with. The issue after being professionally diagnosed was deemed not a user error but a mechanical error. Mr. Borghi since has still not returned any call or message and since deemed he is not responsible for the work done when clearly he was the only person to touch my brakes. There should be no surprise after reading this review as this will remain on his conscious forever!

After several searches he came across The Cycle Exchange and found the one that he wanted. The Cycle Exchange had a great website, provided all the essential details about their bikes and had very clear photo's displaying their bikes condition, speedometer and other photo's. They also had an incredible inventory to chose from and the prices seemed extremely competitive when compared to other websites. We also noticed that the quality of the bikes they had in inventory at their two locations was much better than other sites. Once he selected the bike that we wanted he contacted The Cycle Exchange prepared to deal with the typical sales process. His first call was with Mike who was super accommodating, no pressure sales and offered to provide any additional information or photo's. He verified everything that had been advertised about the bike and made his decision to buy an easy one. We put a deposit down and planned our trip to their shop to see the bike in person. The Cycle Exchange provide us with all of the pricing including the delivery service in writing before to confirm all cost, nothing was a problem for them. We confirmed that we would be their first thing Saturday morning - as we pulled up Chris Varady was already preparing the bike, it had been detailed and was waiting for us. It looked even better in person and we couldn't wait to finalize our transaction and get the bike home. As part of our sales process we purchased 2 Bell helmets and gloves and they gave us a very generous discount. We couldn't be happier. They provided delivery services 4 days later and delivered our bike in their closed truck to our home. If you are looking for a great new or used bike you will have a great experience with The Cycle Exchange, we highly recommend them.

DO NOT BUY from these guys. They will try to rip you off. Let me explain. I tried to buy a 2012…read moreKawasaki Ninja 250R from them with only 185 (yes) miles on the clock. That should be your first red flag, but, I was intrigued as to what a suspiciously low mileage bike looks like. I asked for a quote, as I waited, I ordered a CARFAX, and it came back clean. Them the quote came in, $4100....$2999 for the bike, $499 for shipping to me, and a bunch of other stuff I didn't need. You got to be kidding. For a little more, you can buy a new Ninja 500. I worked with Chris on this and he got the price down to $3200 by eliminating their "warranty". I thought out that, and looked at the pictures and videos Chris sent, and something was not right with this. His pictures showed cracked and broken fairings from a previous drop, areas of corrosion, and it just didn't sound right, probably from sitting and dirty carbs. I was still interested so I ordered an evaluation from "Lemon Squad" to have them put eyes on this motorcycle. What they found was not encouraging. They found the engine leaking oil, the brake master cylinder leaking, heavy corrosion around the shock, dirty seats, and more areas of broken fairings. Again, this is a bike that "supposedly" has only 185 miles (and two previous owners). After writing up my analysis and what I thought the bike was really worth ($1699-1999), I sent this to Chris, who politely told me to go pound sand. Even after confronted with all the information, they were unwilling to deal with me. I think they realized they were talking with someone who knew what they were talking about and wanted to get rid of me as soon as possible. I just want people who are looking at this bike, that it is nowhere near worth what they are asking that they will NOT negotiate with you. If you need further proof, look at the pictures and you come to your own conclusion....would you pay $2999 with no room for negotiation for this? Look somewhere else and remember, "caveat emptor", let the buyer beware.

Not sure if I can say anything that hasn't already been said but in short, if you need any…read moresuspension work/adjustment done for your bike, I can't recommend this place enough. My bike feels night and day different (i.e., perfect balance between quick turn in and stability). I've had experience working with other talented and customer focused suspension guys in other locations such as Dave Moss and I would put Ron right up there with them. From the very first call, I could tell he cared more about me as a rider than someone who would just be spending money at his shop. This was reinforced when I came in for my first adjustment and he and his team (Scott) took their time in getting me set up, explaining what they were doing and why, and having me go test ride it before calling it in a day. Ron even went above and beyond, in my opinion, when he researched some hard to find Ohlins specs for my bike because of additional changes I wanted to make. Coming from NYC, the trip is easily ~90 minutes one-way and I can say it's without a doubt worth it. Given his clientele that I've witness during my visits (e.g., street riders, track riders, traditional suspension, electronic suspension, new bikes, old bikes, etc.), I know I'm not the only one who thinks so. Thanks Ron, Scott, and team for being a suspension place I can rely on!

They came and picked up the bike to repair it which was appreciated. The bike was returned with a new battery but the quick shifter still did not work properly. It took many calls and follow ups and eventually when I received a response from someone they committed to pick the bike up again. They said they would get back to me with a schedule. More weeks of follow up and each time I talked to someone they said they were new and the previous person I talked to was no longer there. After about more 8 weeks, with numerous calls to them, the GM called and said his representative made a mistake and that he would not be honoring the commitment to pick the bike up. He stated that the coordination of the repair was my issue. I bought the bike for a track bike and lost the 3 months of the season because of this dealership. The sales team was completely disorganized during the sale, the repair department was slow, incompetent, and unresponsive, the general manager was rude, unprofessional, did not stand behind his team, and did not care about the customer. Overall, I feel this is a horrible dealership to do any business with. They only positive experience was the driver who picked up the bike was a super nice guy!
