There was no opportunity to really open up the atv's and go fast. For $75 pp, it would be worth it. But at the current prices, the info session and practice should be included, maybe 90 mins per session at current pricing to make it worthwhile. Super dusty (October 19th ride). It may be more fun when it's not so warm so the ground is more solid and muddy. Plan to be completely covered in dirt. The staff were very friendly, which was great, but it wasn't worth the cost imo.

First part is a nice little course, after that you have the option to switch drivers. Then it's a pit area. Pay attention to the weather so you could dress accordingly. It rained for 2 days straight before we came here so we knew it was gonna be muddy. We were SOAKED by the end of it. We had water coming out of our shoes. It was awesome! Would totally recommend. They give you a briefing before your trip. I felt like it was totally reasonable rules, I drove myself at one point and really didn't find myself wanting to do what they advise against. My boyfriend hasn't stopped smiling since.

You can save time by booking online, you need to arrive early for a waiver sign off and possible helmet fittings. I booked a two-seater UTV for my SO's birthday and we had a blast. The cars are new and have better tech functions, especially with being able to connect to your own music via Bluetooth to have even more fun. We had a tour guide for our small group and off we went, racing through a course and flying through water. We were absolutely filthy by the end, so be prepared. We came with our own gloves, which helped make the driving experience more comfortable. I would highly suggest getting some sort of face covering so you do not end up with a mouthful of mud. They do not have bathrooms on site, but a hose station to do some maintenance and portable toilets. We're looking forward to trying out a snowmobile option in the months ahead.

Extremely friendly, patient explaining how it all works to a bunch of city dwellers. rich has a track where you can get the hang of the ATVs, and then one of his guys takes you out into the woods for some trail riding. Riding ATVs was something my family and I wanted to do on vacation and there are a couple of…read morebusinesses that allow you to do that around the Pocono area. A lot of people liked Pocono ATV so we chose them. But, like a lot of reviews said, the group is going to stay single file, most of your trip is under or about 10mph, and really this is for those who are beginner or moderate or timid drivers. My kid was one of the timid drivers who was in the front of the line and at the halfway stop point was pulled out and got to ride on her own with another guide so she was able to do her thing. Another member of the group specifically asked about the speed with the leader and he shrugged his shoulders explaining that this is how they run their show and if everyone was at a higher level, then they may have been able to do more at a higher speed. The maximum speed we got to for a very short distance was +/- 20mph. You know these machines are capable of much more and a lot of us were just wanting to rip! You do have to show some competency beforehand so you can go out in line, and my kid's girlfriend decided she did not want to drive and instead be a passenger. We were refunded the difference at the end, though. I did purchase the $5 (cash only) shoe coverings but for today really did not need them. The trails were more than ready for the ATVs and not wide enough in most places to even think about passing. A lot of rocky terrain and tree roots and just a little bit of mud left over from some rain. There was a quick review about the gas and brake beforehand and if you violate anything safety-wise that was explained, you're done for the day. The vehicles appeared to be newer Polaris ones and they had at least two which could hold two people. Everyone was required to wear helmets. Our guide also said that someone hit a tree recently and cost them an additional $900 for the damage. Based on the trails and trees, I'd say he was probably giving accurate information. About $95 each for the hour or so rides. As I said before, this would be more for the beginner or intermediate or timid riders who want an experience in riding /driving ATVs. It was nothing like our trip to Utah where we were given a map and told "see ya in a few hours." Still, a fun trip through the woods.

Read on for details of visit: We are in town visiting for our honeymoon and decided to take some time to do the UTV rides and mountain coaster. Bought tickets ahead of time online. Got tickets for coaster at 11am and UTV at 1. Website said to arrive 30 mins ahead of UTV ride and to fill waivers out online. Cool no problem. Got a phone call and an email day prior the mountain coaster will not be running for previously unplanned maintenance and I can refund my tickets or get a pass to the slide or zip line. We were bummed and decided to go with the refund. No signs driving in were very clear on where we go for the UTV eventually found the right area. Parked arrived at 12:15-12:20. Asked someone sitting by where the waivers can be filled out, where we go to check in for UTV he pointed us around the corner to the counter but never mentioned needing waivers. Checked in for our UTV ride and a guy printed me a ticket for 12:00 UTV which at this point it was after 12. Asked him where do we go to wait he just stated over there. No clear direction. No signs posted "UTV rides wait here" we walked around asked the girl sitting on her phone behind the counter of the very sad quite empty snack bar she told us to wait at these tables. At this time is 12:30 which was the time stated we needed the be there. 1pm no one came around. Started to think maybe we are not in the right spot. Found an older lady she said we needed bracelets for the waivers and the UTV was outside around the corner. Went back to the first guy we talked to and got our bracelets by telling the guy we filled them out online and stated our ride is for 1pm he said wait at the tables in snack bar. Sat down waited till 1:15 still nothing. Went back up to the ticket counter spoke with a girl. She stated there is no 1pm UTV and the website must have messed up. She stated she could refund or give us a spot in the 2pm ride. Well we already waited and decided to stay. Told us to wait at the tables in the snack bar and they come like 10mins til to fit you for helmet. 1:50 came and a girl and guy came in asked for copy of license and fitted us for helmets. Over heard that they have 5 groups for this ride. We were the only ones there. They walked around outside and found 1 other couple. We told them there is no clear direction for where to gather they stated yeah we hear that a lot. The two young adults that took us on the ride were great. The ride itself was definitely something for kids to enjoy. It wasn't awful it was just circles over these trail paths they made. We left a little after 2pm maybe 2:15 rode around stopped for a break at a photo spot at 2:55-3pm and rode little more. Ride was 2-4pm we came back in at 3:30ish. I was okay being done by then riding the same path over and over got old. Some spots were beautiful most spots had park equipment on the sides of the path. So you could tell you are just riding the same path over and over. I will not come back this place it is not what it could be and maybe used to be amazing at one point. Seems like kids are just running this place and no body cares about it functioning properly. I'd hate to see the waterpark part of this place or the lodging. Was not impressed if I knew I would have never wasted my money or time.

The website shows six pre-planned routes. Day of, these routes are in the glove box on a laminated card with QR codes that you scan with your phone if you wish to follow one of them. Ideally, you hook up your phone to the car via USB/Bluetooth or of course you can fly blind and go where you want as long as you're back by the end of the rental period. With that said, we loaded up the State Park Ride and kid you not, the first stop out of the nine takes you nowhere. You come to a small stone road that is chained off with nothing there except a small admin. building for the state forestry service. After that brief hiccup, we mostly followed the rest and had a decent experience particularly at Big Pocono State Park and Promised Land State Park. At the end you do need to return the vehicle with a full tank and yes, they want you to only use premium. For a sense of scope, we did the eight-hour rental and drove I forget how many miles and it cost about $17 to refill the tank before we returned the car. Overall, this is a hell of a lot of fun. I mean sure there are a few quirks as in the automatic car we used downshifted fairly rough and when idling at times you can definitely pick up the exhaust fumes from the engine, but that stuff is very minor and there is really nothing to do here except have fun and explore.
